*UPDATE*From 1 year ago, I was praising Kathy & Cindy, with 5 stars for awesome CS and food. Now I have to bump it to 1 star, not because of them, but because of the young girl that couldn't get the order right, and for being rude. All I wanted was extra cheese and jalapeños on my nachos! How hard is that to understand?? Rude, and sloppy job with just a little cheese, plus no peppers. (Last year 👇)I have to give a HUGE shout out to Kathy and Cindy for AWESOME customer service!! These 2 ladies are super sweet and make this the BEST Dairy Queen around!!

Very nostalgic... It looks like an original DQ. Has a little charm with the wood, gift shop, clean dining area, clean restrooms, good service, yet the Blizzards... need some attention. We ordered 5 different Blizzards, and all 5 of them were so runny. It was like eating a shake with a spoon 🥄 😅. No Blizzard test was done... you know when they turn it upside down to display the thickness. Would we come here again, yes, for food, just not the ice cream.

We were on the road to Dallas and I had to get a banana split. So we whipped off the interstate to DQ . I enjoyed my ice cream but we said no nuts and they put nuts on them . However I didn't mind it too much because the use pecans instead of peanuts. Only in Texas! And I wish they had given us tops for the bowls it was a little messy after we had eaten them because no lids or bag to put the bowl in . We were in a brand-new pickup so I was in charge of the trash detail. It wasn't easy to keep them upright so the melted cream and syrup didn't spill out on the seat it floor.

Hands down the best dairy Queen in Gregg County. I'm more than willing to go as far to say, best in East Texas. I've honestly quit eating it any other Dairy Queen because they don't add up. Taste and servic is amazing.Kid-friendliness: They have video games for kids to play.

We stopped in as a bad storm was hitting close to closing time. The employees were super sweet and told us to stay until the storms passed. It’s nice to have such a sweet gesture during some scary Texas weather

We have eaten here with my parents and our kids and it has that home town family feel. When you walk in you can feel that you are very welcomed there. The workers are very courteous and the restaurant is always clean and organized. Management is superb. The food is great and just an all around great place to take your family out to eat.

They always get my order right! My favorite is their steak sandwich with an order of cheese fries on the side. I can never eat it all, but I enjoy every bite of trying to! Good service and nice people work here too! Thanks DQ!

Staff was pushy to get your order, I barely had time to read the menu and find what I wanted before they asked about 4 times what my order was. Was highly anxiety inducing!Food was good, except the burrito which tasted like a fried frozen burrito lol but that's OK.Features: No masks or social distance

Order the six-piece got a four-piece had to be questioned about our integrity are you sure you only got four chicken strips and we knew we only got four driver seat show that we paid for 6 I just thought that was pretty messed up and then when the other two strips were brought to the table that we didn't get they were just kind of thrown onto the table they wouldn't laid in her hand or hand it to us they were just going to talk down to the table and they walked off just kind of rude

The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. The man who took our order was very helpful and even told us about some discounts. It took about 3 minutes for our food to come out which was much appreciated since we had been driving for 7 hours and were hungry and it was 930 pm... while we were eating the main who served us was telling jokes while he was sweeping the floors. It was enjoyable and I didn't mind the little detour we took to get there.

10 out of 10 we loved it first off we went through the drive-through and had two separate orders not only did she answer us politely and professionally she got every single thing correct and read it back to us like it was nothing we even tipped her a 5 . They even gave my Pawpaw An old farts discount which he loved. We altogether got a dude, steak fingers, burgers,fries, tater tot’s and hot fudge sundaes and they were all 10 out of 10. Delicious. Too bad we were on a road trip would make this DQ our go to for sure ;) oh did I mention we were back on the road quicker than you can say dipped cone

Our experience was great. Service was awesome and food was good. The best part, the broken restroom. I know that sounds crazy, but the unisex restroom ( only one available due to the renovation taking place in the other one) was in great shape. Cleanest restroom on our road trip. Thank you, Ladies.

Nicest DQ I've ever been to! The staff was SUPER nice, which my wife reiterated when she got in the car. There's was a buffet with chicken, pork chops etc. That looked tasty. And most important when traveling (from FLA to Dallas) the bathrooms were spotless. Great job, keep it up!

Food was good.The staff less one was very friendly. Daughter ordered the chicken basket. Asked for ranch. She also received gravy. A weird server from the back came to our table, put our hand, and said, I’ll take that gravy that you didn’t want...totally weird vibe. Was she going to reuse it?!?!

Food was really good and staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Made this the best dairy queen experience I have ever had! Well done!!!! I recommend this one for everyone.Parking: There was plenty of parking space in the parking lot. Kid-friendliness: There was ample seating and lots of decor to make the kids experience more entertaining. Wheelchair accessibility: Both wheelchair accessible parking and door into the restaurant.

Seriously, this is the best DQ I've ever eaten at in my entire life of being a Texan eating DQ. This will be our permanent pit stop from now on! Service was great! Friendly! Food tasted GOOD for once being fast food. I was really surprised.***Update! We live in DFW and I tried to talk my husband into going to Shreveport for the weekend JUST so I could get some Togo at this DQ!

How do u charge so much, and there was nothing right with this meal??? The fries were not only burnt, they had no salt on them!!! The mini blizzard was the wrong flavor!!! Then to the burger, that was not made how I had ordered, tasted like jalapeños, no cheese, and no condiments!!! Then to top it all off, the Sprite has no carbonation at all!!! I understand that it is a brand new store, but take some pride in training your employees, and teach them to listen above everything else!!!

I don't write reviews often, but this was a bad enough experience that I felt I had to. I ordered one of the cheapest burgers on the menu that was $2.49, and the photo showed it as having cheese on the bottom. The woman asked me if I wanted to add cheese and add bacon and I said yes to both so when I ordered four of these I assumed it would be about $12 or $14 but instead it was almost $20. But I was hungry and agreed to pay it anyway. That's when the trouble started. They gave me food but it was not made correctly, the bacon I had paid over a dollar extra for per burger was not in any of the burgers and then the cheese only had one slice and the manager told me that even though the photo on the menu shows the standard version of the burger including a slice of cheese on the bottom that they won't include it unless you pay extra for it, but the menu doesn't say that. I had to go back inside to get them to make my order correctly and they wouldn't give me the second slice of cheese I paid for. I feel like I was misled when placing my order, and this took up more of my time than it deserved to. Most restaurant managers and business owners have a policy that if you give the customer the wrong order the meal is free or they'll give you something to make it right, but these people didn't seem to abide by that tradition and courtesy.

The staff seemed nice enough but the owner manager took my order, and upon handing me my table marker made the snide remark about how I dont get to keep it, that being said, good was good, chicken is well seasoned, the rest of the staff was kind and courteous. The food/price ratio isn't competitive with other nearby options however. I would recommend one of the other chains nearby as an alternative
