The store here in Kilgore, TX, is only a year old. It's clean and continuously being remerchandised to handle everything from Christmas clearance items to new spring items. Courteous, engaged staff, lots of variety in products, and great pricing make for some fun impulse buying

Absolutely love this Big Lots! The products are the same as others but the team members are the best! The store manager really cares about the customers and it shows though her whole team. We purchased a couch and went back a few times to make sure it was what we wanted at the best price. Thanks for helping us this week!

Bought a sectional, have. 2 year old kid. So you know how that goes. He jumps on it, structurally it’s strong. They have a big selection f things and always have sales

This is surprisingly a very big Big Lots store. It was very clean and organized easy to find items and the staff was there. There was really no interaction with the staff walking around the store they didn't really seem to want to interact with customers. The cashier was really nice and sweet and didn't answer a couple of my questions.The location was great, it's located in a shopping center with a grocery store next door a few restaurants in a huge parking lot so parking will not be a problem. It's also located in the center of town what city hall post office and the police station all around it, so it's pretty easy to get you from anywhere.

Found big lots by chance, $400 bucks later....they had 75% off Christmas things!!! I got some bargins!!!! Clean and tidy, well organized store, very happy helpful staff. Good product selection of household goods. Reasonable pricing too. Awesome for storage ideas and organizing everything in your home. Love this shop!

Purchased a couch and love seat. Was going to purchase a second couch, however, was out of stock. Asked if we could purchase the floor display was advised they do not sell the displays. Searched AR, LA, and locally in TX for the same couch and no inventory. Called back to see if we could purchase the display. Was advised again that they do not sell the display. Go to the store on Saturday to get the sku number and guess what? You got it. The display was sold. Spoke to Donald who said he could give 20% off of anything else. Asked if we would get the same sale price with the reclining chairs (which he said those around it were similar and weren't because they did not recline) and was told no. None of the stores have the couch we initially asked to buy a second one.

I gave three stars due to the last time I went the person that was checking out in front of me was taking so long then a lady that was selling tamales was standing not too far from the lady that was checking out then she was done then the cashier took her time also the lady checking out buying tamales you are on the clock and you holding the line to buy tamales the manager didn't seem to care because he had walked off so I left everything I had there for them to put up I was in line for 20 minutes so they could buy food haven't been back since

They had failed to pull a sale price so I had to go back with my receipt and take a pic of the sale tag. They were kind to give me the refund. The Kilgore location doesn't have near as much as the Tyler or Longview locations.
