Went to get feed for my horse and the staff was very rude to my family, not to mention incompetent. I will not be going back or recommending this “feed store “ to anyone. You would think a business about to go under would take more pride in themselves and their merchandise.

UPDATED 12/9/23 SELLS EXPIRED FEED!!! Goat not gaining weight and diarrhea would not eat. Expired a month ago, and being in a garage setting, it must have been nasty. Even looked different than a new bag from another feed store thats how we found out it was expired. . Maybe time to retire!!!Has been around a long time so tried them out for FFA Goat coming in. Large supply of goods. Had me purchase the wrong bedding so had to exchange it. Kept me guessing on what we wanted or should buy for a 1st timer. They should know what each school likes to use, especially since he went to the feed seminar

They have a wide selection of high quality feeds, along with pet and livestock medicines, hay bales, tools, and other related equipment. They are a big supporter of local FFA programs and stay stocked during peak demand. The owners are both very knowledgeable, and their other staff is always friendly. They also offer U-Haul services, live rabbits, chicks(seasonal) and ducklings(seasonal). I’ve been coming to this place since I was in high school FFA and nothing has changed! Love them

Lady was super nice about me almost accidentally walking off without paying but when she told the man he literally threatened me and said he would’ve shot me, as a gun owner myself I would never make a joke like that even though he didn’t smile or say he was joking. Either way. Weird experience overall maybe considering hiring a sweet younger girl to work the front with good customer service. Will not be coming back.

My dog was sick a couple of months ago after spending $2000 on a vet visit, I decided to also look for additional help. Someone recommended for me to call Katy feed store. After $30 dollars and a home remedy recommended by carl my dog was feeling well immediately. I go there every 2 weeks to get my dog food. I am so glad I called them.:)

Carl & Annette are the best. They always provide friendly service with a smile. They are one of the few places that carry my dogs food. And when we were raising rabbit had all the tools and supplies I could ever need.

Carl & Annette are amazing-We have about 6 acres just around the corner and they always make it super easy to pick up our weekly feed. We have deer,cows, goats and chickens and being a first time farmer they not only make the process of purchasing easy, they provide detailed product knowledge that has proven to be invaluable in raising our animals. I highly recommend this helpful and friendly group!

Great customer service family owned. Owner truly took the time to help us pick all the things we would need for our lamb. The prices where much lower than I've seen at tractor supply and Amazon. Will be shopping here again for sure.

Phone etiquette and customer service is horrible, who ever this " Gentleman " is who answered needs to be fired, if he is the owner, he needs to close down, How are you rude for no reason ? Most people enjoy making money ? You are making premium money with a subpar attitude! Just like you can have a grand opening, you can have a going out of business sale, Customers and revenue are not promised, humble yourself!From reading reviews this guy is notorious for his attitude and this is ongoing, never been corrected! I will be sure to pass the word here in the Katy/Cypress area !

I came here to purchase additional nesting boxes. Once I located them, a gentleman yelled from a distance “What do you want?” I replied nesting boxes and before I could ask how much they were he said they didn’t have any. They had three. I put it back and proceeded to walk outside and said thank you. I assumed he was having a bad day and didn’t say anything. After reading other reviews, he is just rude.

What friendly people!! I go there to see the Countryside Vet and some other products. Whether it's Carl or Annette I'm always there longer than I should be just yacking it up. I have read some reviews and I am astonished at some of the bad reviews!!! I always look for the good in people, but I guess not everyone does. It's their loss at meeting some really nice and helpful people.

I called ahead to purchase a bag of krave pig feed. The man told me that they had some in stock so I stopped on my way to the barns. Then he tells me that he won't sell me feed because he has already previously taken care of all the other kids from my school so he tells me to go buy feed some where else. I have never had such bad service in my life and I won't ever make the mistake of buying feed form that place again.

This place is amazing! My son ran out of pig feed and didn't tell me until the last minute. I called at 3:45 on a Sunday to see if it was in stock. It was in stock they had plenty of it. They closed at 4PM and stayed late waiting on me to get there. They are professional and will make sure you have what you need for your animal project!!!

Rudest start to a phone call I’ve ever had. Right away in such an angry sneering voice a man answered and when asked if they had a certain type of chick for sale he spoke in a condescending tone as if I were a moron. I maintained my composure but this place is sure as h e l l never getting my business ever.

All i can conclude is it was blatant discrimination based on race.Although I am biracial being black and white, I look Hispanic and my friend I was with is a black male. when looking to patron this business to buy horse feed and hay upon walking in will probably ask to leave. I have no idea why, as a man behind the counter in very aggressively demanded that we leave. I questioned him asking if he "did not want my business as I just moved to the area ..." he responded clearly and aggressively no he did not want my business.he most certainly will not be getting any of my business in the future and I will make sure that anyone who asks I will tell them what happened when I went to Katie feed and tack. Please be known that if you want to patrons Katie feed and tack they do not want this blacks or Hispanics, that is what I've concluded from my experience.

Great place for feed. Alot of choices. Parking is a little tight. Prices are a little bit cheaper for premium feed than other places. I recommend.
