It smells soooo good once in the shop. They have an area to sit down and hang out with friends. Instead of bakery, they also sell premix and jams. Love the vibe and definetly coming back to try more. A kind Grandpa came to the campus of U of H and sold “Great Harvest Bread Co” bread here during farmers market; I got cranberries & blueberries bread, pumpkin spice bread, apple cinnamon swirl bread (my favorite), ginger cookies, and a “scone” that looks like a grain cookie, loved it anyways. All the bread were so delicious, but found the bakery location is so far from here…

I first discovered Great Harvest when one opened up near my previous home in Weatherford, Texas. The one in Katy still provides delicious food, though I do miss some of the item variety at the Weatherford location, as well as the smaller town friendliness. While not their fault, it's a 30+ minute drive to the Katy store, whereas it took me 10 minutes before.I highly recommend the loaded breakfast sandwich on a Cheddar Bacon Biscuit. Delicious! The Salted Caramel Cookies are also wonderful.If you ever find yourself in Weatherford, Texas, you should absolutely stop in at that location. You won't be disappointed.

Baja Turkey sandwich on gluten free bread, chips, scone and scuffin and a lavender lemonade. Absolutely delicious and fresh! Nothing more to say! All quality ingredients make a great sandwich and they know exactly how to do it! The scuffin with all the nuts is so delicious and so is any scone you get! I ate everything so fast I forgot to take a pic. I have a small piece of the scuffin left.

I just discovered this treasure of a bakery! The staff was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions with patience and good humor. They pack a lot of great items into this little shop, and it was so hard to choose because everything looked so delicious.I took home lemon blueberry bread, salted caramel cookies, a pepperoni roll, wheat bread, and a menu of all the tempting sandwiches from their cafe. Everything was really tasty and we are definitely going back for lunch so we can try more things!I wish the menu picture was better, but check out their website and see what both locations are serving!

If you love bread, don’t miss this place! The cinnamon apple swirl and honey wheat breads are devine. They also have quick breads: lemon, chocolate, banana, etc., The pumpkin shaped breads are adorable and can be used as soup bowls. Pick up a salad or sandwich and a cookie for lunch! Yum!

I drove out here from the Heights area in Houston. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it. This place has some amazing loaves, lots of different kinds all with fresh milled grains. This is a rarity these days. Even in some of the fancier seeming bakeries with their quartz countertops and fancy lighting; they may be making what they call a “rustic loaf” but they are almost all using ap flour. 🙄.These guys are the real deal, fresh milled bread that fills you up and keeps you full. Wholesome slow carbohydrates that don’t spike your insulin levels and are full of fiber to feed your gut microbiome. Worth a drive as far as I’m concerned.

Very reasonably priced and good flavor sandwiches. They have breakfast or lunch options. They have a menu on their website, and even though they list specific bread types for the sandwiches you can pretty much pick whichever bread you want for your sandwich. I recommend ordering take out instead of eating in. They don't have a soda fountain so the drink situation is limited and there isn't a wall between the bakery and the front/tables. It might be a great place to go and sit alone with a book or laptop to eat, but it's a little too loud to make it comfortable to talk to a companion while eating. They do have a few tables outside, so that's an option if you don't mind the weather on the day you go.

Love everything about this place! The bread is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the space is comfortable.I'm addicted to their scones!The iced coffee could be a bit creamier but that's just personal preference. Still enjoyed it.Highly recommend the Breakfast Blast loaf, Chedder Loaf, and the High 5 Fiber!

Absolutely amazing breakfast and deli sandwiches! There are well prepared, delicious, and interestingly delightful combinations. Over the last week I've had both everyday, and the sandwiches have all been slightly different, with ingredients I may never have thought of had or sought out on my own. We love Great Harvest Bread company products.The Dakota bread is very hearty and taste wonderful. The sourdough bread is also very delicious.They have great cookies too. Especially the oatmeal raisin.Very clean shop/restaurant and beautifully merchandised.Have a frequent guest program that is very easy to earn free bread and sweets.The staff is always friendly and helpful too.

It's a very nice bakery that prepares everything fresh and delicious. My favorite is pumpkin chocolate muffin and Chai Latte with or without pumpkin spice.Their coffees tend to be too sweet for my taste.They also have really freshly made sandwiches, and they are GOOD!

Loved everything I've tried here. They have low carb and keto bread plus lots of gluten free items. The low carb bread is fantastic! You have to call ahead if you want the keto bread, I haven't tried that one yet.

Amazing breads and power bars. I visit their tent every Saturday at the outdoor market in Sugar Land. They have amazing bake goods. We really like their breads and power bars. We are impressed with the ingredients that they use and the taste. I look forward to getting to their shop soon but love their stuff.

Unfortunately not all Great Harvest Bread restaurants are equivalent. The one in Lake Charles, LA is amazing, with bread sampling and very little if any limitations on what type of bread you can choose from for your sandwich.The Katy location pales in comparison, and offers a very limited bread selection for sandwiches, e.g., cheese jalapeño bread is not an option since "it would go bad by the end of the day" per an employee's response.The egg, cheese and turkey sandwich I ordered was also much smaller than the Lake Charles' portion. Again, inconsistencies between locations.Won't be going back to this location. Also, very small "dining/eating" area.

The options are abundant and delicious always. But, what makes this place uniquely special is how/where they harvest their grain. We normally have to purchase gluten free breads elsewhere, but their process here allows us to enjoy all of their standard options. From the Savannah Bars to the Rosemary Garlic Sourdough loaf we love it all. Even the sandwiches are wonderful. A+++

I got there a little too early on Monday morning. The whole wheat loaves were baked but too warm to run through the slicer. The cinnamon swirls bread wasn't going to be ready for another hour.

Great harvest bread company is wonderful. Everything is always fresh. They have a large variety of different breads. They also have lunch options. You can also purchase soup mixes, brownie mixes and different items. They have helped us with different events as well. Great staff, great food, and easy to work with.
