Highly disappointed with this vendor, we purchased two "Flemish giant" rabbits to replace our breeder females after a unforseen incident. We purchased these two at the exotic pet expo in Corpus Christi and what we thought would be a saving grace only wasted 8 months of our time and efforts while we patiently waited for them to grow.... We have other generic meat rabbits that out weigh and dwarf them in comparison.We have extensive experience with these gentle giants and the two that were sold to us don't match the bill. There is Flemish giant in them but definitely not enough to deserve the title.After contacting the vendor and a short discussion we were basically discarded. Their reasoning for the smaller size was because we received the "runt". Apprently we picked the two runts from the same birthing. What are the odds?After reading into their website we finally found the section about everything else they sell aside from hedgehogs. In this section it says all sales final. How convenient..As a fellow breeder I am very surprised that a "professional" operation would behave similar to a vendor you would find at a local farmers market.Please do not make the same mistake we did and continue shopping around. There are reputable breeders out there that will support and back their animals.Texas Hedgehog please stick to what you know.

This was my first hedgehog and I was very excited to get one! After looking into several breeders I found that Texas Hedgehogs and Exotics was the perfect choice. They had several photos on their website of who to choose from along with upfront pricing. Communication was great during the whole process along with getting all my questions answered! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking into owning a hedgehog to go through them!

Very friendly & knowledgeable people, purchased a hedgehog for our 8 year old and he is just the sweetest little potato! Ethan really knows his stuff; the amount of information was overwhelming and we had to write multiple notes to keep track of all the idiosyncratic tips. I'm usually pretty good about taking pictures, but there were so many animals that it didn't even cross my mind. Amazing place, I would give 6 stars here if I could.

I highly recommend adopting from Texas Hedgehogs and Exotics. The hedgehogs are so beautiful and are well bred. They also help you learn how to take care of each animal.

I would highly recommend adopting from here. Everyone is super nice and are super informative. 10/10 would adopt hedge hog again
