Your vet cancelled my sick dogs appointment 2 days in a row because of rain. On the second day an hour after they cancelled the Sun was shining. People just don't care when it's not them or their loved ones. You should be ashamed

I popped in to get a few things for my cat. I got them and went to pay and a very friendly girl who had been stocking shelves hurried over to the register to help me. She had the best attitude and was smiling and friendly in spite of the fact that she was running around trying to fulfill at least three positions by herself.

Very clean, responsive & overall helpful store! I stay in league city but work in the same strip as this location so it’s convenient, plus i prefer it now tbh . Great staff, great looking reptiles/enclosures! Lauren is helpful each time I go in & never misses a sec to ask if I need any help as soon as I’m through the entry! She’s awesome & has the customer service so many lack these days. Great store, nicest petco I’ve seen, go see for yourself though, it’s worth it!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!, I experienced the worst service from one of their employees by the name of ROCHELLE in grooming. As long as she works there I will never return. She is very unprofessional and likes to lie and think that if she say it’s the store’s policy you will just leave it at that. Little does she know, I’m am someone who reads the fine print in everything. So when I challenged her in what she said and ask for it in writing, she pretends she can’t find it and then gets the manager. And then it goes from the store’s policy to her comfort level. When she clearly told me that she was going against store policy as a favor to customers, but ending up hurting customers dogs, so they told her stop. She needs to be reported on that and on her customer service. I used to love bringing my pup to this Petco, but the grooming department really needs to improve on their staff, based on these reviews.

If i could give a zero I would.Went here to get flea products. I reach in to pick the ones I need...cashier (Khalani) walks over and says "oh I need to get those for you, do you know which ones you need". Mind you, I have them in my hand...so I put them back. Then she said "okay now which ones do you need". I point them out even though I had just put them back in. I then tell her...if that's how y'all want it then you need to keep it locked because the one in Atascocita allows you to get them and take it to the counter which is literally in front of the counter.Don't selectively choose who can and can't retrieve what they need. If customers can't get flea products then lock the cabinet!!!!

Update: I'm officially not coming here anymore... This is the closest location to me but their grooming situation is horrendous! How is it that you open up at 9am and take your last appointment at 1pm, but you have a "full time" groomer? It seems like they just don't want to be there. I could understand if y'all said you're borrowing a groomer from a different location, okay understandable but no. I understand y'all are short staffed... but how y'all are dealing with it isnt reasonable or realistic for owners who work. You should just say you don't provide grooming at this location. VERY DISAPPOINTED!Grooming hours aren't correct. Waited 30 mins for someone to answer the phone, only to be told groomers aren't available at all.

Went looking for a dog bed and a harness that would be better than what I have on him now, found that he is using it now the hardest time still not too liking it we'll see what happens but the store people were very helpful.

We went in on a lazy Sunday with our daughter that is on the spectrum. She did a lot of yelling and was very over stimulated since she loves animals and was excited to see the birds and fish up close. They were really nice and didn't even bat an eye to all the yelling and even talked to her instead of ignoring her and giving her the stink eye like some places. Employees were great!

my dog is a mini schnauzer, needing a schnauzer cut...Michelle was the groomer that claimed to know how to cut schnauzers....but she apparently lied....i received my dog with poorly styled haicut...legs were cut too short....her nails were not cut or buffed...skirt was uneven and too long...she ignored my request for the lengths and shape of face....but, worst of all....SHE CUT HER EAR!!!...when i arrived...Michelle was not at the store, but arrived as i was waiting for my dog to be brought out...she began talking nonstop, while ringing up my transaction...she was just rambling...it was very overwhelming to be in her presence, she was figity and messy and unprofessional...my dog came out and nearly ran through my body...my dog was scared and practically climbing over me to run out the store...i have never seen her so scared before...Michelle continued to talk while my dog was freakimg out....and then she took my dog from me and with a towel was trying to stop the bleeding, then grabbed my dog and took my dog to the back...i was so confused...everything happened so fast...i didn't realize my dog was bleeding...in the meantime....Elizabeth, another employee refunded my money, Michelle brought the dog out and proceeded to spray liquid bandaid on my dogs ear...i never got a chance to really see my dogs ear....Michelle was almost purposely trying to distract me with all that talking so that i wouldn't notice the bleeding...also...while my dog was in her care, she never called me during the grooming session to let me know she cut my dog's ear....i left the store with my refunded money and a very scared and stressed , poorly groomed dog....i regret my decision to book an appointment with Michelle without research....i will never book with her again

This is the best chain pet store location I've ever been to. The salesperson is always friendly and helpful. The reptile husbandry is on point - fresh food, correct temps and humidity, and they look happy. Very impressive.

The store was good but when you go to the fish section is hard to find someone to help you. And them when you finally find the help they do it in a rush and you just don't want to buy more fish because you feel the clerk hate you to make him/her to do that.

A lot of their prices are just out of control. Here's a few photos of Clorox Brae bleach which you can buy at Walmart for three or four dollars. They want way over 10 bucks. I bought some waterless cat wash. It cost $12. Walmart and Amazon has it for 9.99

I love the Petco in Humble. They really do care about your pet and you. They are great about listening to your questions and concerns and finding the best solution. My dog is always greeted with love and affection. The grooming department are amazing as well!
