My pup absolutely loves this place and the wonderful staff! I've used their boarding and grooming services and we've had a fantastic experience every time. Clean, fun, well maintained, and thoughtful pet play areas are all over the facility, and my sweet boy comes back fresh and fluffy every time in good spirits! I have left my dog there a couple times and never had any issues. I called to know how he was and they responded very nicely. He was on medication that looks like was given according to the request. The place looks clean and has a good space to the dogs play.

It was my first time here. I needed a daycare for a couple of hours and they saved me. They require a behavioral test before accepting new pets but since there were only two dogs that day they accepted mine without the test. I needed it just for 2 hours and they were very welcoming. I see that installations are really good; too bad the weather was bad. Definitely choosing them next time I’m in Houston. Well done!

I am sooo happy I found the Pooch Pad for my dog Elle. I had to board her for the firs time and Kristi went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and comfortable. And the facility is so cute with all of the blue and pink. Highly recommend for all of your fur baby's needs.

We recently groomed and then boarded our dog for several days at the Pooch Pad while we were on vacation. We had a great experience both times. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and provide ample indoor and outdoor space with a charming décor. Kristi and the staff provide excellent service and all very professional. We especially noted that they are very good communicators. We got periodic updates and photos of our dog for reassurance that all was well, which we appreciated while we were away. I highly recommend the Pooch Pad, and we will continue to use their services!

We’ve brought our dog here for grooming for the last 3 years but just boarded her for 6 days recently. The staff at the Pooch Pad is unmatched. They are so friendly and truly dog people. We were nervous about never having boarded our dog as she is a bit shy. But she came back to us in such great shape, in great spirits, with a great haircut, and all tuckered out from all the playtime and activity she got. We got regular updates and pictures sent to us which gave us so much peace of mind. She even made a best friend, who they strategically paired her with based on the dogs’ personalities. they do such a wonderful job grooming our wheaten (not all groomers know how to cut wheatens) and they are so amazing overall with our pup. We know she always has the best care and treatment there and we won’t go anywhere else.

We have boarded our 10 month old puppy here twice now. They are easy to get in touch with and super accommodating. Our pup has a little separation anxiety and doesn’t do well in crates so I know it can’t be easy for them but they have always been so nice to us and our Sonny. I had an unexpected issue at home and needed a place to leave my dog for the day. I called Christie and she allowed me to bring my dog in the same day for doggy play time. She was very nice and accommodating. At the end of day care, my dog was so calm and chill. When we got home, he laid down and went to sleep which he normally does not do. He has A LOT of energy. I also liked that they let first timers play free of charge to see how they interact with other dogs. I would definitely bring my dog back to the Pooch Pad if/when I’m in the area. I do recommend this place to others.

I brought my dog here for the weekend and was told upon picking my dog up that they had to kennel him for nearly the entire weekendsue to him and another dog not getting along and they were short on staff. Never once did they try to call me and notify me I would of gladly cane and picked up my dog rather than have him stuffed in a kennel for an entire weekend. Terrible place to bring your pets and offered no refund for doing nothing but picking up my dog like a criminal. Pet Paradise will get my business in the future.

My dogs stay there for four days and anything was reported, now they told my wife our dog which go to dog parks every day have to be secluded because she goes after other dogs, they only have one group so if two dogs dont get along they go to the kennell, apparently they cant monitor dogs interaction. This is the best place that ever happened for my lil dog Noah ! The staff treats him like family. I know he is a handful but everyone there loves and welcomes him every single time like he is a brand new puppy. The care takers and the groomer has called to check on us if we have been away for to long. This staff is golden . We adore The Pooch Pad !

My husband and I have a Westie named Herschel who goes turbo speed all the time and thinks he’s the size of a small horse, despite being more the size of a Build-A-Bear. We both work long hours and couldn’t handle the idea of Herschel being lonely and bored in the house.We’ve been visiting Pooch Pad for daycare, boarding, and grooming since we moved in about a year ago. We both work downtown and the location is so convenient, we can pop in and drop him off in under 5 minutes.He always comes home smiling and sleepy and we know he’s getting to socialize and burn off his seemingly endless energy. Each time he’s groomed he comes back exactly how we requested- and his fur is white (which for a Westie feels impossible!) The staff greets him by name and they are so sweet and patient. He knows as soon as we pull up where he is and he practically sprints towards the door.They’ve also done some renovations recently and the facilities are looking great! We’d recommend Pooch Pad to anyone and are so thankful to have a fun and safe environment for our best boy right down the road. :)

I take my working class female German Shepard to the Pad on occasion for play time and grooming. I work downtown and the Pad is very convenient. Kristi knows us when we walk in and is always very friendly. Dog is clean and tired at the end of the day, and I can relax at home!

Love the pooch pad! We brought our dog Roxie here for a year for grooming ( great service) before we boarded her. She stayed a little over a week the longest she had ever been away from home and it went great! The staff is friendly and are great.

Lucky just got back from her first trip to The Pooch Pad over the long weekend. She is now unbelievably worn out - she's been snoring all day! They provide all the daycare services when you board your dog, as well as food, so all you have to do is bring in your pup and enjoy your weekend. Clearly she was in great hands. Lucky is a bit timid at first, so they kept her at the front away from the other dogs for awhile and eased her into the playtime, and then she got along great! They have little pools and play areas all over the house, so if your dog loves the water it is perfect. It's not a luxury dog hotel, but this is the place for your pooch if they love having interaction with other dogs. The price is right for the good service and attentiveness they provide. I'll definitely be back for boarding and maybe some daycare too!

The staff is very friendly and patient and prices are reasonable just watch out for that Sunday pick up it's cheaper to let them stay an additional day. I took my dog here once overnight and it was so good for her. She came back so much more social and confident. I look forward to taking her back during the day while I am working.

My dog looked absolutely adorable after the grooming appointment.... I’ve always been told that he doesn’t like his nails clipped, the Pooch pad told me he was perfect and didn’t give any issues. Guess a change of groomer environment is all he needed. Exactly what I wanted him to look like. A little toy. Thank y’all so much and for being so friendly!!!

I like everything about pooch pad! We brought our foster dog here for doggie daycare. This helped to socialize our dog. The prices are very reasonable, great hours, ideal location for people living in eado, midtown, Montrose or downtown, and immaculately clean. Our dog loved it so much, he was running to get in the door every time we pulled up.

I have been bringing my dog Bodhi to Pooch Pad for day care, grooming and boarding for several years. It's a great relationship. Bodhi has really bad separation anxiety, but he loves it at Pooch Pad. He even has a best friend! I wouldn't board him anywhere else. They really love dogs there.

This place was great when we first started bringing our pups here, but the last three or four times it's been increasingly worse.I bring my poodle-terrier mix to get groomed here, and it's been unsatisfactory the last three times. This is the third time in a row they've given her a "teddy bear head" cut — where they leave her head all poofy — but it's also the third time in a row I've left specific instructions to NOT give her that cut. The first time I chalked it up to a misunderstanding, but now that it's been three times it's kind of annoying. I keep having to shave my pup's head at home.But a new issue, and more disturbing one: I picked my dog up and was calming her down in the foyer when I noticed that her back paw was red. I thought, "Oh, how cute, they painted her nails!" HELL NO, her back paw was soaked in BLOOD.I'm not hating on the groomer for cutting the nail too far. I get it, my dog has black nails, and it happens to the best of us. But to hand her over with A) a bloody foot and B) no notification that anything happened? That's just unprofessional and troubling. If I hadn't noticed it right there and said something, no one would've told me she was injured. An injured claw isn't something you just gloss over, it's a real injury that you need to take special measures for!Overall, I've been extremely disappointed with the grooming, and particularly disturbed by what happened today. I will be contacting them when they open again next week and asking for some kind of refund.
