Iris did an amazing job grooming my dog! Every time I go to her, she's patient, gentle, and does an excellent job. Highly recommend! The first time I chose her was because we have the same name😂😂😂 But afterwards, I was completely won over by her skills.

The best pet barber place in River oaks area. Extremely recommend to Iris who we’ve knew for a long time, also with professional skills and lovely patience. We sent our pet in the morning and picked up after couple hours when they finished, nothing needs to be concerned and all the employees took care of him perfectly. Highly recommend for this place.

Iris did excellent job on my puppy! She is very nice and gentle, she made my baby cuter . We had good communicate, she always knows what I want. I will be back to her soon.

Edit: Changing my review to 1 star, we found about an inch long scab across our pup’s snout a bit above his nose that is now a raised bump. He has longer fur so we only noticed the raised area once we were wiping his face and he winced when we touched the spot. I would love to know why this wasn’t mentioned at pick up yet his “bite” was. It’s difficult to photograph the extent of it with his fur but photos included in this review.I will start with, the cut looked great! However, I am not sure if the staff was equipped to handle our puppy. I usually don’t leave reviews but we took our 8 month old cavapoo puppy here and the groomer shockingly told us he bit her face. We were honestly shocked they were talking about our dog since he’s never once been aggressive towards any person and runs up to meet everyone he sees. There wasn’t a mark and he didn’t break skin but according to them he was trying to bite the tools and the groomer. He still isn’t quite used to getting brushed/groomed and tends to try and bite the brush but NEVER the person holding it and if he does it’s usually playful or little nips never clamping down! We’ve taken him to several different groomers, bathed him at home dozens of times, and brush him at least every two days and have never had any issues or complaints from groomers. Our pup also moped around the remainder of the day and he typically has loads of energy even after daycare so I’m not sure exactly what happened but we were a little disappointed.

Iris did a great job grooming my baby boy Leo. She understood our wants and delivered it perfectly. The team was also amazing on taking care of Leo. He had so much fun! Highly recommended!

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Great for anyone who has a poodle mix. We have 2 maltipoo with very soft hair. Our dogs always comes out so perfect. Noe has been our groomer for a while now and he’s so amazing! Great person with great skills. You can tell that everyone really loves the dogs here. My dogs always come home so pretty and happy. Both of them get the “teddy bear” cut and they come out so cute! I also love the receptionist DJ (I dont know if I spelled it right). He’s always so sweet and welcoming and swift with taking care of me and the dogs.

This place is amazing! Highly recommend this place! The staff were incredibly friendly, making the entire experience smooth. DJ was very helpful with checking in process. Iris is talented and professional. My dog looks fantastic and I’m grateful for the excellent service.

Did not want to be put in a position to leave a review like this. I have been going here pretty consistently since the end of last year. It’s convenient to my place of work and where I live. A couple weeks ago I took my dog in for daycare and a bath. The bath was about $60 and my dog did not smell good. She wasn’t dirty or anything, but for $60 I at least expect for there to be a pleasant odor of some kind. It’s a little ridiculous to spend that much and to not even notice whether or not she was actually bathed. But that’s not why I’m writing this review. That was a lesson learned moment to not take her here for a bath. No, the reason I’m writing this review is because after picking her up from daycare today I found poop in her fur. Not in the back area near her butt. It was on the side of her. She smelled awful and when I picked her up I had poop on my hands. I spent the remainder of my lunch break giving her a bath. It is ridiculous to have to clean poop out of your dog’s fur from a “river oaks” pet groomer. The staff are nice, so I wish I didn’t have to write this review. But I cannot go back after having to clean poop out of my dog’s fur.

We love Pet Barber here on Westheimer. We followed Mollys groomer Griffin here, she loves Griffin as do we. The people here are welcoming and friendly…Griffin, we cannot say enough about, Molly loves her, she gets excited when we tell her where we’re going, we love how she looks after and pampers her and she always looks amazing when we pick her, Griffin, you’re the best! Pet Barber, great salon and staff. Thank you all.

They will shave your dog bald if you ask for a short haircut and the front desk is actively vaping in there.

The pet barber is amazing, all the groomers are very talented, neat and professional. All the stores are pretty, clean and “fancy “. Most of all Paul the owner is super kind and an awesome barber and makes always sure you are satisfied with their service !My dog always looks like a stuff animal !! Love this place in every-way !!!
