After many years of not having a dog in the family because of living in an apartment and the hassle that goes with it. I made the decision to get myself and the family a puppy. I knew what kind I wanted. An English bulldog. I did my research beforehand and went to purchase the new member of the family. Petland, did their sale, and I got my puppy. Jelly Bean was sadly only with the family a week when she suffered from aspiration phenomena and passed away. Now, I have been waiting nearly two months for their petland solution to honor the policy they claim to have. Well, I finally got a response from them. They claim that they are not liable for aspiration phenomena and would not honor their replacement policy. Now I'm out a puppy and thousands of dollars. I will not recommend petland to a friend or family member ever. Petland, you have let me and my family down. I say this to anyone going to petland. Go somewhere else.

I stopped by, yesterday, to see the puppies and maybe find one for our family. Jasmine helped me and was absolutely the best! She brought me the cutest little puppy named Trixie Mattel (!!!) and sat in the private space with me to explain all the details and benefits of adopting with Petland. She never once pressured me or made me feel like I HAD TO PURCHASE right then and there. It felt like two friends having an informed and delightful conversation (while being covered in puppy kisses!) I will DEFINITELY be returning on Friday when Jasmine works again, to see the other puppy that wasn’t quite ready to be handled, before we make our decision on whether or not we will be getting one of them. As far as the facility goes, I felt it was very well maintained and layman friendly. The pups all seemed happy, healthy, and well cared for. Thank you Jasmine for your help and please give Trixie extra kisses for me!

Walked in with my little sisters just to look around and ended up getting pet insurance and some awesome toys for my fur baby. Chrix was an awesome help with the insurance set up and recommended an incredible toys for my little one. Chrix recommend King toys my fur baby and now he won’t stop playing with his new toys. In addition the staff allowed us to see and pet some beautiful puppy’s along the way 100% recommend coming her and we got to pick a free treat for Milo. 🐶

Was completely blown away with the experience. Everyone there was helpful and very polite. Mickey made my purchase comfortable and easy. Played with puppy with no rush. I was not pressured. I was given the price and allowed to think it over. All puppies looked happy and clean. It was a no brainer. I am very happy with my little Penelope. Thanks Mickey

I got my dog here 3 years ago. I was told that for the rest of his life, I would have his vet exam fees paid for, and 10% on medications if I went to the vet that they recommend. I have been doing that. They first changed the vet within months of me getting my dog, we finally had a good relationship with the new vet. The vet (Your Pets Vet, Bellaire) is now out of business. I called them to ask if they'll be assigning a new vet for us to go to, and they said no. If I'm paying so much for a dog, I'm expecting the perks that they advertised for the rest of his life. I'll be looking for ways to deal with this legally, and anyone that is also frustrated with their constant lies, please message me. I'm sure with so many of us being frustrated with their lies, we can find some resolution.If the manager of this place doesn't want this to be dealt with in court, I would highly recommend they call their valuable customers back.

The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the puppies in stock. They answered all my questions and assisted me with picking out all the necessary items I would need to bring home my new fur baby. J and Colin worked extremely hard to get me the financing I needed so I could afford to give my son his first pup. I’m very thankful to have walked into that store this weekend, but I am blessed with my new baby girl.

We came in today to look at some puppies. We met Charlie he was adorable. Jasmine was also a great help and very knowledgeable with the origin of Charlie. Hands down the best experience I have had by far.

Skeptical of pet stores, Their manager Andrew put my mind at ease. Pups are happy and healthy, they presented full pedigrees and medical records. Their value for what they offer can only be spoken by their presentation, it’s a lot lol. Check ‘em out!

I would rate a 0 if I could, they scam you at this establishment. Im am happy with my pet but they sold be a dog that had worms and lied about the financing. Please be careful with this site. Do not listen to anything that they say. ALL LIES! They responded to my initial post but they have yet tp refund me my money for selling me a sick dog and they never reimbursed me for the initial vet cost. I have been calling for 3 months

We drove an hour and 45 minutes to Petland yesterday. I had been on their website multiple times and wanted to go and browse. I instantly fell in love with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We were assisted by Anita who was supportive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She made sure we were taken care of while at Petland. Anita didn’t leave any stone unturned while assisting us. I want to thank her for all the help yesterday and a very honorable mention to Andreas the manager. He was also very supportive and a breeze to work with. I brought my other Pup for the ride and they offered him a snack as well. Overall, it was a great experience being there and truly didn’t take too long to finish the entire adoption process. If I had to give a critique it’d be nice if they had the puppy information on the outside of the glass for people to see.Happy with all the help and support I received yesterday. Thank again!

Petland is amazing! the staff is SO friendly and informative and the puppies are so cute! Tip: this is a GREAT date spot (who doesn’t love playing with puppies?) with good food in the area!Edit: A Petland employee performed a hard credit check after saying there would only be a soft credit check. The error took months to undo and Petland basically said ‘Even though we made a mistake, we can’t do anything about it. You have to go fix it yourself’. Still love the cute puppies and the staff is great for the most part, but this situation was handled very poorly.

I bought my dachshund from here in 2020. The papers said my interest would be 0% and he emphasized how "icy" my credit was. I swear he was on some sort of upper drug. Come to find out after signing as he scrolled through the contract so fast. That my interest rate was at 40%. I didn't notice this until we got home and got our puppy settled in and went through the paperwork and seen our monthly pay was almost $300 a month. I was shocked but wasn't overly shocked. Then we saw the interest rate. That pissed me off instantly. I called the store and they weren't helpful stating that it was the guys last day and since we signed they wouldn't do anything. Whatever. Not even 9 months later our puppy is and always has been since we got him, super aggressive. But he's peeing everywhere. Untrainable. So we take him to the vet to see what's going on. The same vet they referred us too. Now he has huge kidney stones and needs surgery. He had the surgery thousand of dollars later. Since his surgery, he has viciously attacked each of us in our house. We have 4 kids and each has been attacked by him. I have been cornered and attacked from my ankles to my thighs and he doesn't stop. He keeps coming at you. There's no calming him you have to just get away. I mean in the end he's a $10,000 dog that none of us want to hurt by getting away from him. But not one of us are able to be around him and love him. We got him as a family dog and all we can really do is keep him in his big pen and take him on walks. If we do let him run around someone always gets attacked. Petland truly screwed us and I hope they get everything they deserve by being sued. Akc certified my foot. Lies and more lies. I forgot to mention his tail was broken. It is still bent 3 inches from the end in an L shape.

The place was clean and well kept with constant cleaning of the cubicles the dogs are kept in. You can hang out with a dog in a little room to see how they interact with you. We started out with 2 Australian Shepards one a puppy and one a little older, both were aggressive but the older one lunged at my face a couple of times at one point ripping of my mask. That dog is NOT family friendly. We looked at the Golden retriever and fell in love but it came with a $7000 price tag. No wonder the prices aren't listed online. I haven't bought a dog in 20 years so maybe this is normal? They do offer financing for the dog, which in my opinion is just crazy. Overall I wouldn't come back and might recommend if I couldn't find a dog straight from a breeder. We ended up finding a breeder about 3 hours of us with a golden retriever for $800. Worth the savings.

So I had the owner of having Emma Roe assist me through this very overwhelming but EXCITING experience. I poured my heart out about my situation and how much I wanted a dog and she talked and walked me through the entire thing. Answering my a million questions and gave me so much since of relief. She was truly amazing!!!! Proud to call myself a dog mom with the help of Emma & Petland!

Over all very good experience. Ciara helped us and was very patient as we talked and decided to take a Shih Tsu home. Our puppy is very healthy and happy ! He’s 9 weeks old.I would describe Petland as a “marketing package all in one stop”. It is very expensive to purchase a pure bred puppy here, with many components included.She presented an iPad with a slide show presentation with the information that the company supposedly (and hopefully truthfully) provides, such as top 2% of breeders, veterinary wellness and sick visits included for free for the dog’s life span with purchase of the pup, several items to take home (crate, shampoo, toys, doggie toothbrush , treats, puppy pads and spray to name a few), micro chip registered under your name /number/address with AKC (American Kennel Club), certificate of authenticity of breed, stats about the birth parents, and a few more.Fine print with purchase if you want to uphold the Lifetime Puppy Warranty with Petland : must purchase one bag (any size) of dog food and 2 containers of their specific brand vitamins every 90 days. They for sure have a partnership or part ownership with this particular brand.Also questionable is that it is required to take the dog to their veterinarian next door, Dr. Gonzales. Our in-store worker did not know his first name, nor knew the name of his practice (which is Our Pets Vets), which I think would be valuable for workers to know, since I asked a legitimate question. Going to this vet is part of the lifetime warranty deal; you must take the puppy to Dr. Gonzales for an exam within the first 3-4 business days, where you’ll talk about vaccines, flea prevention , and heart worm medication, etc.Everyone gets sticker shock of course bc of the high price tag. We were glad to get $1,000 off from the New Years special. $1,500 off was offered the week before Christmas to entice families to get presents, the associate shared. Our walk out price for 9 week old Shih Tzu was $6,200. We will not be taking a vacation trip any time soon!!!!
