Great feed store, been here forever and still has the great old ways of service. Bought 5 chicks today and everything needed to care for them.UpdateThe chicks are growing so fast and they are so healthy. I plan to get 5 more real soon. I think every home needs a chicken in the yard. The exterminator would be out of business in no timeThe chicks are about 8 weeks old now and doing greatFixing to put the now at 10 weeks on regular chicken feed. They got me in trouble today by coming in the open door

Bought hay from here and found it moldy as soon as they dropped it. Called immediately and requested new hay or a refund. I was told that they would come pick it up, 2 days later, nothing. I called again today and the lady told me that they will not refund or pick it up. I have attached pics because I don't want anyone to have their herd get sick with this mold. Do do business here. Extremely rude and doesn't stand behind their products or service. Stay away!!!

I am disgusted by their customer service we have continuously done business with them for years even with the unprofessional, aggressive communication over the phone numerous times with their manager. Our orders are no less than 35 bales every two weeks. I called to complain about hay and asked them to come and see it, they said they would that day; two days later no one came so I called to follow up as I have their check as well. When I was called back they lady rudely said that someone would be with me between 12-2pm and they would collect the rotten 5 bales of hay. I explained that I would need replacements she aggressively said they would not replace and they do not want to do business with me. I have never seen such unprofessional aggressive customer service, this is not acceptable!

The employees are very helpful, this place is my new fav. Place that I can buy food from for my Huskies.As well as I purchased a natural honey from here. Must try.The food has a nice smell unlike other dog brands, try for your self and see.As well as you can ask for a sample if they have in stock for the food type you pick for your fluffy friend.

Friendly & professional overall. I recommend it. Nothing that warrants anything above an average three star though. I'm getting stricter with my ratings to help better distinguish between poor & exceptional businesses & locations. There are better places out there. There are worse places out there than Hieden Feed & Supply. I do like that it's a family owned small business. Try to support them as much as I can over big corporations.

If you like old and grumpy people that sit behind the counter on their butt.... You will love this place. Then purchase something and feel like a number not a valuable customer. The parking and parking lot is the worst. Pot holes and very hard to understand where to or how to park. When looking at feed nothing is priced and you must rely on the staff that sits behind the counter for prices. I shop there due to its location but could be vastly improved if staff tried.

I got here to meet my daughter's needs. She wanted a rabbit. We ended up getting two!! I also get the dog so goods from here as well. The place is very organized and neat. They offer a lot of different products for animals. I make them my first stop before any other feed store.

Very organized and everything you need. I needed Victor Dog Food and they had it on hand and even had someone load gor me. Prices are good. As luck would have it, I got an urgent call right as I went to check out, but apparently they aren't THAT strict about that no service if you are on your cell. :) phew

I get my Pine Pellets here. Less than $8 for 40lbs. You will need to buy more than 1 bag to use plastic to pay. They're very nice and knowledgeable. The prices are great, in my opinion.

Best feed store I’ve ever been to. They carry pretty much everything I’ve ever needed for my horses and at the lowest prices. Great quality hay and alfalfa and I have never received a bad bag of feed from them in all the years I’ve been going to Hiedens. The people here are friendly and I’ve always received good service. Highly recommend!!

We bought a dog harness for $28.50. I asked her if I could return it if the harness didn’t fit. She told me I could return it if the tag was still on it. This was on Monday. Two days later on Wednesday we tried to return it with the tag still attached. The receipt was accidentally thrown away in the bag. The same lady that sold this harness to us would not give us a credit without the receipt. I had to dig through the trash to get the receipt. We are going to return this and we will never do business with them again. We have purchased dog and cat supplies from them for several years. This is no way to treat repeat customers.

WARNING - Don’t ask about pricing bc the old lady that is the owner will tell you to leave if you don’t want to pay her inflated costs. I get that feed store pricing won’t be the same as online pricing like Amazon, but don’t price gouge. When your pricing for a product is 55 PERCENT HIGHER than everyone else because it’s in a higher than normal demand, you’re price gouging. Plain and simple. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with the same lady. She has always been rude as hell every time I’ve been in here even when asking a simple question about a feed. It’s so bad that an employee followed me outside to apologize for her rude behavior. I will happily take my business elsewhere and I cannot recommend enough that you all do the same. As a small business owner myself, this is NOT how you conduct a business or treat your customers…..

This place was quite awesome, I called up a few hours ago inquiring if they had any large full arm length gloves, and not only did they, but they prepared my order in advance and had it waiting when I arrived. Great customer service, very friendly people. Will definitely return in the future!
