Always expect to see something new. Comic book central, can't forget a very nice selection of mangas. Your one stop shop if you're looking for something to read, cards to play with, or even figurines to collect or play with. The apparel isn't a lot, but the right amount to fill some holes on your closet. Over all couldn't be happier about this place.

My first visit to Comic book store in years. What got me out you might ask? DC is launching a new Wonder Woman comics where they introduce her a nemesis.As a DC fan (always over Marvel), then I could at least partake. My understanding is there are 4 different covers for the launch with one being blank another being anime style. Thank you, no. I chose the other two.I also decided to explore the store as well. In the back of the store are action figures behind locked 🔒 cabinet doors. I was disappointed to learn that no MacFarlane toys are not available 😢.The store keep did mention there was a story behind why, but did not specify details. Alas, a lost sale there 😢. I took pictures of the store's action figure lineup but not the weapons throughout each wall.I also am including the two WW comics selected. It is a rather small store off Fry road and IH 10 in the HEB shopping center.Comics yes. Actions figures no.

My family and I really liked Bedrock City. My child is into anime and Marvel, so I loved the range of materials. As a teacher, I also loved the selection of books for the kids. The prices weren’t too bad as many were better or just as good as online stores.

I’ve purchased from this location numerous times. Good store with a good selection. Lots of toys and merchandise if that’s your interest. Staff has always been helpful and will check other stores for items I’m looking for and will also transfer them to your preferred store.

I visited today for the first time. Open, bright and airy. Aaron came up to me and offered his assistance. I know NOTHING about vintage comics and am absolutely delighted with his customer service. I highly recommend if you're looking for yourself or for a unique gift for a comic book lover in your life.

This location has really grown in the last year. It's become a pleasant place to go to anytime I'm on this side of town.. I always like going in and talking with the staff who have worked another bedrock locations which is wonderful to kind of have a piece of home store.. If they don't have it there they have 5 other locations that they can check for and get a transfer to whatever location is closest to you which is awesome I super appreciate that period

This store is my favourite place in Houston, closely followed by all the other Bedrock locations!Their selection of comics, graphic novels, manga, merchandise, t-shirts and posters is second to none. It’s always immaculately laid out, super easy to find what I need and really well stocked. On the rare occasion I can’t find something, the staff even call around and do their best to get hold of whatever I’m looking for and help me out so I can grab a copy of whatever I need.The staff here are universally awesome, super friendly, knowledgable and all-round great people. No one is ever too busy to help out. No one has ever been rude, condescending or unkind; it’s good vibes all the way. This particular location has some of the coolest people I’ve met working in it and a huge part of picking up my books is just hanging out and catching up with the staff. They’ve built a great community here and I’m really proud to be a part of it.Highly, highly recommended!

They super low ball you. Yeah I get it .they have to make money too. But they will low ball you And they flip 2 or 3 times more. Such bs And they prices there is a joke! Would be nice if they acknowledge you when u walk in the store . But I got to say there’s a female employee there she’s a very nice very sweet and it should be more people like her. I wish I could say the same about the managers

Update they were great was able to exchange for a different figure since they were out of the one I originally got. They did all they could if I lived closer I would have gone to different one of their store to get the one I wanted but stuff happens and really happy with how it turned out.Bought a figure was happy with price and everything but once I got a chance to put it up found out it was missing the piece that hold tha figure to the base... I will call them tomorrow hopefully they can fix it will adjust review after.

Finally! Katy hasn’t had a comic shop this good since Heroes World was in Katy Mills Mall a few years back. I used to have to go all the way down to Voss Rd to get to a Bedrock City location, so this convenience is incredible. Additionally, the staff were extremely polite, the store was very clean and well stocked and quite possibly best of all, the prices were fair. Definitely worth a visit.

Awesome addition to Katy and close to my job. Very happy to finally have a comic shop nearby to blow paychecks at. Big selection of pretty much everything and every time I’ve gone in they had what I needed (specific tpbs and single issues). Staff has been friendly each visit and everything is neat and organized. Looking forward to this being my comic store.

I've been going to the other Bedrock City locations for years, so when I found out they were opening one so close to me, I was ecstatic! I love this little place, employees are super friendly and knowledgable. I can't wait to see it grow.

Bedrock City Comics used to be the ideal place to go. Until some scrub manager named RON tried to handle business all wrong here at the Fry road location. If you are a real comic book fan and you enjoy getting a subscribers box and talking to reasonable people, then bedrock may not be the place for you. What a shame that I have been shopping at Bedrock since I was 17 years old, now sitting at age 30, and just one rude senseless person gotta ruin it all. Be careful if you do choose to do business with them. They may not be accepting to the fact that LIFE HAPPENS. Even when you communicate properly and attempt to find common ground solutions. Oh and also, deff don’t shop there and have a box when you do everything correctly to communicate as to why you can’t pull from your box properly…. they probably will ask you why and tell you that they have seen you in the store purchasing other items and question you about how you live your life and what you spend your money on whilst also threatening to charge the card that you choose to place on file EVEN WHEN YOU TELL THEM THERE IS NO MONEY ON IT!!! Solutions are not a factor here. Thanks RON for ruining my experience for good you scrub.

This place is amazing. The prices are super fair and not inflated. Everything is easy to navigate and clean. The employees are easy and fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the products and characters. I love love love it here.

Very lovely time coming here. Staff was amazing. Always very helpful and friendly. Manager really listens to what customers want to see at the store.
