A hidden gem. Stopped in Henrietta, TX on our way to Colorado and a google search showed Bull Malarkey’s as the highest rated place to dine. We were skeptical along the route from the hotel but found a lovely, packed, downtown restaurant with the most relaxing atmosphere! Service and food were excellent and the owner just lovely. This place is so worthy of adding to your bucket list of places to visit.Vegetarian options: the okra and green beans are deliciousKid-friendliness: Lots of local families dining there when we arrived along with couples out for date night. Perfect for everyone!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while passing through Henrietta. We love this place! The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the bread pudding was sinfully delicious! We shared the Southwest Chicken salad with Parmesan vinaigrette dressing and an order of bread pudding. Oh my gosh! So good! Our waitress was so sweet and we received excellent service. It was definitely worth the stop.

We decided to stop here for lunch on our way to camping at Lake Arrowhead State Park. We called ahead to let them know we'd be arriving with a group of 4 adults and 9 kids about 30 minutes before their 2pm closing time. The two ladies who served us were very accommodating and didn't hurry us out. The food was excellent. We had burgers and the chicken fried steak. Ample portions, well-cooked, fries were good. They also have a really cool bar area in the back that looks like it would be hopping on a Friday or Saturday night and would be a nice place to host an event.

This is a neat place. We love looking for local restaurants. It is across the street from the courthouse. The food was delicious. I really liked the queso burger. The use of red onions with the spice mayo was perfect. I loved the fried okra. The corn bites were also a favorite. The service was great. I heard people calling to make reservations for Friday night. I think it is a good idea. Highly recommend this place if you like local owned and fantastic food.

Bull Malarkey's is a quaint, country restaurant, off the main town square in Henrietta, TX, across from the Henrietta main courthouse. It is a simple place on the outside, nothing screams restaurant except for the small sign on the outside of the shared building. Ther restaurant's name is on the glass of the main entrance door. I noticed a generously sized handicapped ramp on the sidewalk up to the main entrance. When you walk inside Bull Malarkey's you are instantly transported back in time to the early 1900's. The dining room had a rustic charm, a character of an old, country dining room. It has wooden floors, wild game heads sporting every side of the room, homey aromas, some antiques displayed on wooden bookcases. It looks like a true , old fashioned, small town restaurant. The dining room was clean and charming; a comfy relaxed feeling. There were no big city sounds of hustle and bustle. Even though the main dining room merely seats 16, it is spacious and uncrowded, with plenty of room to walk around each table. I believe there was a second dining area, but I didn't actually see it.Our server worked alone serving all six tabletops. She was the hostess, server, busser, and cashier. Occasionally, another, well dressed woman poppped out from the kitchen area (?) to help to deliver the food to tables. As she passed each table she checked for refills, but as quickly as she appeared she soon vanished back to the other room. She vanishing woman appeared a second time, for an encore performance, before leaving again. She was friendly, when she spoke, and checked on our food and refills. Our server was a extremely friendly, speedy, efficient, and kept moving the entire time we dinned. She never missed a refill. She dashed by and quickly checked on our table several times during our meal. This small restaurant stayed full, as well as, several guests stopped in to order takeout. We didn't see anyone have to wait longer than a couple of minutes to be seated. The eleven o'clock lunch hour was quite busy for such a small town, population, 3141 (in 2010).The food was beautifully plated, had generous portions, was cooked fresh, and made exactly as ordered. I had a BBQ burger, topped with sauteed onions, and a side of hand cut, seasoned, fries, and a large glass of iced sweet tea. My BBQ Bacon buger was juicy. The BBQ sauce was smokey, sweet, and slightly tangy. The seasoned fries were so good. They were tender, crunchy, and sliced thin. My dining buddy had the grilled *chicken, sweet coleslaw, and two wedges of buttery Texas toast... which he thoroughly enjoyed. All our food was prepared as ordered.*Note: The grilled chicken was a bit dry and chewy, slightly tough to cut with the simple table knife; it may have been slightly overcooked... However, it did have some scrumptious seasoning.Sadly, we were too full to try any of the enticing desserts. Maybe on our next visit we might order the banana pudding or Bull's bread pudding, first! We had a delightful lunch at Bull Malarkey's, in Henrietta, TX...cute name for a restaurant!Parking: There are front angled, street side, parking, shared with other businesses in the same building.Kid-friendliness: There are some kid friendly menu items. (They didn't serve lemonade or root beer. That seems like a missed, small town, drink opportunity.)Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair and walker accessibility. The sidewalk has a generous handicap ramp off the street. There's a large curb, however. I didn't notice if there was an access ramp onto the sidewalk... I'm not sure about that.

We made the short trip from WF to enjoy date night here. They were RSVP only (or to-go), due to COVID-19, so we had to schedule in advance. It was so worth it. My steak was prepared perfectly and seasoned well. My wife's burger was "everything I want a good burger to be", she said. We hope to return soon, even if just for some banana pudding!

First time visiting Bull Malarkey's. Great place and the food was amazing. We got the 16oz ribeye and that was the best steak I've had in years. We will definitely be going back.

The only reason I am not giving this restaurant all fives is because of the $ 2.50 credit card fee and the fact we were charged items without being told pricing. We had already handed over and charged our credit card, then found out about the credit card fee. Their food is good and well priced. Atmosphere is all Texas and super cute. Nice place for large group dinners.

We were encouraged by Bull Malarkey’s reputation. We made the 30 mile trip and were not disappointed. The hostess, wait staff and owner were all exceptional. The food was really good as well. I had steak and Renee chose Pozole. The salad was fresh and the banana pudding wonderful. We had lunch but the restaurant is also open in the evening. The is a pub for beer and drinks. Texas cuisine and Hospitality at its best.

Had the ultimate burger and it was big, messy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool with all the stuffed animals on the wall. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.

Bull Malarkey is a hidden gem. We were driving through Henrietta Texas and wanted something more than Dairy Queen or Subway. So a google search for food near me showed several restaurants that were a block or two off the highway. I chose this one, and we were not disappointed. I had the Bull Burner, which featured smoked ghost pepper cheese, grilled jalapeños and spicy mayo! I enjoyed it, but would not recommend it if you don’t enjoy heat😎! The flavors were excellent and I would order it again. My wife got the chicken fried steak and she reported that it was delicious as well, the breading or the meat was seasoned with something that made you want more. The decor was nice and the atmosphere was quiet. I live about 3 hours away from here so won’t get here often, but whenever my travels take me to west Texas, this will be my lunch stopping place!

The locals may get mad that I am telling how awesome this place is. I travel all over the state and love these kinds of home town restaurants. Chicken fried steak was amazing with fried okra. The waitress and all the staff were super nice and attentive. The building has a cool history and the wildlife mounts were cool. The bar in the back was also a very nice touch.

Great little gem of a restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious warm bowl of chili. The people I was having lunch with had meals to die for. One had a super huge burger second to none. The other had the Fried Beef steak sandwich oh my is all I can say. The other person had the Chicken fried chicken they said was yummy too. The fried okra was the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. The service was top notch. It didn’t take long for the place to fill up at lunchtime. I can completely understand why. If you haven’t tried Bull Malarkey yet you really owe it to yourself to get on over as soon as possible.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp at the entrance.
