I was passing through the area and decided to stop here because my family and friends said it was a good place for fish. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures when my food came out. I ordered the fish and shrimp with two sides (baked potato and chow chow). I enjoyed it all except for the little bitty baked potato! It was the side of an baseball! LolThey do offer an all you can eat catfish but that was a bit much for me! I will definitely go back when I'm in the area! Prices were great too...you won't be disappointed!! 😋😋😋Sorry about the pics didn't think about pics till after! 🤣🤣

Service was horrible and it took 25 minutes before we got our order! Then when I get my entree, it was wrong! While waiting on our waitress to come back, which was a very long time I was so hungry I went ahead and started eating. When she finally came back .. my husband told her and that I was waiting on my dressing for my salad. Then right before we were ready to leave, she brings me a chicken fried steak( which is what ordered). Then she says, I’ll box it for you and get you some gravy for it! Well after waiting so long, we asked for our ticket and she S.A., you’ll have to go to the front. Then when we did they couldn’t find it and wait 15 minutes for them to figure it out. She had to call someone, thus us horrible. Out first time there wasn’t a good experience!!!!!

Very friendly, cheerful service by our waitress. It took a while, but the chicken fried steak was nice and had very crispy breading and no voids in it. I opted for the turnip greens which were tasty and the mashed potatoes went well with the steak. Alas, we did not have room for pie. Another plus is the large size of the drink glasses, I really hate the dinky glasses that other places use.Parking: The parking lot is roomy but looks like it can fill up in the evening just because this looks to be a local popular spot for the area.Kid-friendliness: It seems to be a family friendly style place

HushPuppies has fallen completely off! I had the Flounder with mac & cheese, turnip greens, and added a whole catfish and frog leg. Anything fried will be done in old grease and fried too hard. Food lacked seasoning except for the turnip greens which I believe they spilled a bottle of vinegar in them. Our waiter chose to glance at us and go and check on certain tables and overlooked us until we asked for our bill. Didn't ask if we wanted to-go boxes or drinks like he did others, and we definitely didn't finish the mediocre food. This will be our last time wasting our money with HushPuppies, huge letdown.

Wow!My family and I had a great outing at this Cajun seafood restaurant.They have REAL CATFISH👌🏾‼️‼️My smile will NOT CEASE .😁🌹Although I ate a freshly fried chicken fried steak.. I enjoyed my food!Everything was freshly cooked and it only took 21 minutes before our FRESH HOT FOOD came to the table . Oh yeah, DONT forget the JAR OF SWEET TEA w/ LEMON.Our server was very polite and full of energy. HER NAME IS T.C...PLEASE, PLEASE, COME VISIT THIS Restaurant, IF you haven't already..Vegetarian options: Greens, mash potatoes, etc..Kid-friendliness: Kids menu.

This place used to have very good food. In recent years the quality has really declined and the past 3 times I've gone the catfish I was served was very obviously sitting under a heating lamp for quite some time. If they would make the food fresh it would make a huge difference to the quality.Wheelchair accessibility: Building is not elevated and has no need for wheelchair ramps. Should be fairly accessible for wheelchairs

Very good experience at HushPuppies. Our portions were considerable and had a great taste (the cooking oil was fresh). The fillets and shrimp were meaty and well breaded. I really liked the okra too. The gumbo was traditional. Pricing was reasonable and the service was excellent. If this review was helpful, please "like" it.

First time every going here. I went with some close friends. The atmosphere is cool reminds me a lot of a restaurant my family and I liked a lot in Ms when I lived there. The food is great I really enjoyed. Wish they had one in my town cause they aren about 45min from me.

The table we were sat at had a metal top with rusty water on it. Our menus were sat in the rusty water.I started wiping the water up with paper towels and used about 6 of them, turning them all brown from the tables surface. My kids had brown hands from touching the tabletop.We left and will never try eating at Hushpuppies again.By the way, their Hushpuppies suck. I've had better from E-Z Mart.

I got takeout. Had the Catfish fillet meal with fried squash, seasoned fries and hushpuppies. It was good. You only get two hushpuppies so if you want more get them as a side. It's a neat restaurant with a drive-thru. Even have Cornhole at the front to play if there's a wait.

Food was ok, fried green bean app was great. Ordered 8 oysters, they were kind of small, but there was 11 of them on my plate. Service was good; waitress was efficient but needs some people skills. Catfish was really good; Cole slaw tasted like the walk-in. All in all, an ok place to eat with some room for improvement. I was going to give them 3 stars, but gave them the benefit of the doubt, considering that we were seated at 2:30.

Came in here for the 1st time with a group of friends. All I can say, if I'm ever up in this area again, this will be a definite must stop. Their appetizers are extremely large and delicious and an awesome value. I tried the fried green tomatoes for the 1st time in my life and, boy, have I've been missing out. They were amazing. Were from Texas and have never found the value we found here these appetizers. Our only drawback was that we didn't have enough time to try and enjoy some of their plates which I'm 100% positive that they would've been as great as their appetizers.Parking: Plentiful

I eaten fish at many places but this one was the worst my husband and I have ever eaten. The fish is not farm raised catfish. Everything was so greasy you could not eat it. The only thing any good was my granddaughter’s chicken strips which were 2 chicken breast patties battered and fried. Atmosphere was good and the people were friendly but not good food.

Oh this was gross. Rice came out as mashed potatoes . Corn on cob was mush. All condiment bottles disgusting. Chicken fried steak was ok. Receipt has an admin fee. Different prices for cash or credit. Had to ask for sides to be removed from ticket. Paid for the 2 catfish filets. By the way this was 11:00 am on Monday

My waitress was amazing. Very sweet young girl. I got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and it came with 2 sauces. The jalapeno ranch was delicious. I ordered the Cajun grilled fish and shrimp. My food was good. I was disappointed in my hushpuppies. They were small and hard and had expected some bigger soft fresh hushpuppies being that is the name of the restaurant. Overall, good food though.

Food my wife ordered was cold. I ordered a hamburger, but what I received was mystery meat, tasted very gross, and left a lingering nasty taste in my mouth for hours. I'd recommend avoiding this establishment
