I live on site been doing this off and on 9.. picked up hundreds of dogs from rescues.. going on thousands of dogs saved lives saved .. only dog rescue that is a no-kill shelter and this part of East Texas.. need more funding to save more dogs.. need more volunteers too we could save even more animals.. great operation.. needs to be more facilities constructed and built to save more animals

BMAR does absolutely amazing work rescuing, healing, and finding homes for dogs in need. If you have the ability to donate, there are various methods, to include direct donations, online wish lists, Tractor Supply and Chewy gift cards, and even direct donations to their vets. Check out Barking Mad Animal Rescue on their website or social media. I've donated many times, and they appreciate even the smallest amounts, as they receive no government funding of any kind.

I have never had the pleasure to chat with such a rude, ignorant insulting person ever I adopted a dog that was not at all what was described in her profile this dog has severe trauma ingot a dog Trainor here today and she said this dog is in real bad shape doesn't know how to walk on a leash. I asked the volunteer before adopting her what her teeth was like she said she's 2 🙂so I figured her teeth are fine they are black. CJ said that it was my fault that my dog was the way she was that I had personality disorder and not a good match for her. I am doing everything I can to help this lil girl the dog Trainor sees the bond and the live that we had for each other cJ had told me to return her and get a full refund I told her that I am not returning her to give her more trauma she has had enough of that. I should of been made aware of the condition she was in no I am not trained but I am slowly helping her to feel more secure within herself info not recommend this site at all to be insulted the way I have and to get a dog in such bad shape is just not acceptable. I stressed out all the issues I having with my girl and I guess she didn't like it too much they are not honest people. And I will do everything I have to do to help my little girl and yes CJ we will go on our merry eay

CJ and her crew are amazing they go above and beyond everytime! They have saved and rescued so many dogs it is incredible. After one adopts if you need anything answered they are there for you. Their dogs are all fully vetted and as an adopter it is upto you to be responsible and continue getting. The rescue looses money every month trying to do what is right by getting the dogs to safety to Canada and we in Canada are forever grateful for all their hard work.

Betty White's heart lives on in this organization that goes above and beyond to save and rehabilitate unwanted, abused, neglected dogs giving them a second chance at a life full of love. CJ and her team do this for their love of dogs and it shows in the wiggly bums and kisses their dogs give their new families. She is situated in a rural area which experiences power and internet outages so if you don't hear back from them right away, be patient. I received a phone call shortly after I completed an application. I think the cost is very reasonable considering each dog is fully vetted, spayed/neutered and receives training and learns to trust humans again. We cannot wait to welcome our newest fur baby to our Maritime home later this month. Save a life and adopt a dog from this organization.

These people are wonderful, they save animals in a three -county radius without any other shelters or rescues. They have many dogs, and quite a few cats, and very few volunteers, but they keep going. Texas has a reason to be very grateful to this place, and I am grateful to them for helping so many animals. The poor creatures. People treat them terribly , throwing them out on the road , leaving them tied up on a fence, and other horrible means of getting rid of them. BMAS saves them.

This is a rescue organization that does amazing work in helping animals that have been failed by so many people. They take in the hard cases and really help out their local community and shelters that they are partnered with. Please do not leave a negative review or bash them for not responding to every request to take in the dogs you’re abandoning. They have very few staff and volunteers and have to care for hundreds of animals. They do NOT have time to sit there and respond to every single voicemail, email, Facebook message, private message, etc, especially when those messages are about “needing” (usually for very selfish reasons) to give up your dogs. Be responsible, care for your animals, and be understanding of rescues and shelters and how they try to save as many lives as possible with very few resources to work with. People being negative only makes it harder for rescues to save lives.

The owner is Amazing , she goes out of her way to help anyway she can.. if she is not able to help she finds someone who can .. she is very good with the animals & they all seem to love her.. a great place for a small town

Sarah lee this rescue does an amazing job with a wide variety of dogs some not given a chance saving their lives they need support fiid etc in tx there are a large amount of abandoned animals they help stand in that gap...

While I appreciate the mission of this place in giving pets a second chance, I was shocked to find out the adoption fee for 2 dogs I inquired about was $650.00 per dog.
