First and last time to shop in this disorganized unzoned store!Crates in the Isles, shopping carts filled with merchandise, shelves on the corners ,law suit waiting to happen. Blocking Isles every where.Wasn't just me elderly couple complaining as well.A Susan a rep for your store after 5:pmJust walking around , rang the bell like 3 times to get me checked out...Took me thirty minutes to find what I needed.😒🤔Told her yawl need help in here !.She said what do you mean😒🙄What do you mean !Whatever look around !nothing is zone district Manger must not be checking on this store for sure.Hire more people Dollar General !you can do much better for the customers that spend money in this store and the pot holes in the parking lot ,,,watch when you drive through youll bottom out.. Sad🤨

I needed a small tool set which was not in shock. The awesome store manager allowed me to use his personal tools and even offered to assist. A breath of fresh air in a modern cruel/selfish world. Thank you dear sir for being a genuinely good person.

The people who work here are not helpful at all. There's one tall man who works there who is really nice, but the women?? Wow. They may as well not even be there. If self-checkout was an option, it would be a lot better of an experience.

Liked looking at the Halloween decorations.Discovered a lot of nice building block sets, never remember that being in the stores in the past.One thing that would have helped me spend money there was if they had marked their marked down section with prices.Think I will shop at the DG near where I live from having done some pricing while in store.

The store was not very clean, the staff gave me a hard time about using coupons, it was not a very pleasant experience at all. When I handed her my coupons she acted like they were germs from another planet and shuffled them around, glanced at them, shuffled some more, looked perplexed, unsure what to do...seems Dollar General has waged war on some coupon sites and won't accept their coupons anymore...geez...

Needs to be cleaned up and organized. The store needs more space. Employees are ok. Prices are good. Corporate should make this store bigger. Everything so crammed and Iles are narrow.

This store seems to always have boxes and freight stacked in isles and it's hard to get to products, and it poses a hazard if someone were to trip on the boxes on the floor. It's worse when you have to wait for a long period of time for a cashier to finally get to check you out. Overall, cheaper store with better options.

I had a good experience at this Hempstead Texas location. I was allowed to enter with my service dog they had patince with me due to my credit cards not wanting to work and if that wasn't stressful enough I dropped my wallet and my card slipped under a machine my casher was such a nice person to help me thru it all to the end with patience and understanding .

This was a pleasant place to be ,but it always seems as if there is baskets blocking the back iles so it's not easy to get things you need on that area, the cashier is the best ,he smiles ,and his conversation is always pleasent we need more people like him in this world.

The store is somewhat cluttered, and some of the brands are unknowns, but, if you know what you want, pay attention to the Saturday discounts, and "clip" the digital coupons, you can find some real deals! Example from this trip, DG generic Omeprazole, 14 count for $6.

EVERY time I go there, people are parked in the handicap spots with NO Placards or handicap plates, if you tell the employees they just blow you off and don't say anything to the people or report it and continue to let people get away with it, and if you say anything to the people doing it they just get attitude and are like, so what.
