Heather and Carmen do great work posting my dog's cropped ears, but honestly everyone was very helpful and friendly. My puppy even got a treat for good behavior. Too cute! I have a beautiful Calico cat. She was treated DO well. I thought she needed spading, oh surprise, surprise she had a tattoo and had already been spaded! My Kalli walked up into my daughter's lap after someone dropped her off near my home in Michigan.My cat loved the staff!They were helpful and kind and took the time to answer all my questions.

CAT OWNERS BEWARE!!! These doctors are great with dogs but when it comes to cats, expect them to treat them like dogs. My cat was prescribed dog medicine, dog shampoo, and dog mousse for her skin condition. A medicine that was proven to show little to no results in cats and a dog mousse that would irritate and agitate a cat’s thin skin. Another cat of mine was put under anesthesia when he was in no condition to do so because the doctors did not run the proper tests to assess his prior condition. The few tests they did manage to run should’ve been enough to negate the appointment, but financial gain was worth more than the quality of their care. How did I find out he was in no condition to be put under? Oh, when I sent him to an emergency vet two days later and was told he had every condition under the sun and I had to come the next day to euthanize him. Awesome work Dr. Jaime and Dr. John! Hope you had a great Super Bowl Sunday, mine sure was eventful!

We have an 11 week puppy that suddenly stopped eating, all he would do is lay there. I googled vets as we are new to the area and we gave this place a try. They were absolutely fantastic! The staff and Vet were wonderful! You can tell they truly care. They squeezed us in, tested and treated our our pup, calmed us down and honestly made us feel like they knew us forever. I cannot thank them enough. Absolutely wonderful service and attentiveness and you will not be able to beat their prices! What a blessing finding this place! Thank you Country vet!

I went as a walk-in yesterday. I was waiting and the doctor didn’t come to ask me if i was seen yet and he checked another ladies dog when she came after me. When he got to us, he asked my mom what we came in for and my mom told me to tell him since she was sick and couldn’t really talk and she wasn’t sure if the doctor spoke spanish. He was rude from the start and said, “can you not talk?” after that i told him what i was there for and then just asked if i could also do a wellness check for my doggy. When we put her up on the table we tried to take her temperature and my dog is a very anxious dog so i know it’s not their fault that she was squirming. He was checking her mouth and he said she had a parrot mouth. She has an overbite and he said i should fix her so i won’t have anymore parrot dogs cause she was undesirable. He is a doctor and should keep things professional and not comment on someone’s pet’s looks. The staff was kind, but the doctor should keep things professional and work on the way he talks to a lady and about the owners pet.

Had my poor 10 month boy neutered here he ended going back a month later had to redo everything recharge another $300 to restitch and redo surgery. Lady who answers phone is extremely rude never helps and never returns calls. They want you to show proof of everything you get. Ridiculous you get what you pay for. Never again! The vets and techs inside rooms are very nice and helpful but the staff outside are very rude.

Would not know how good this place is because couldn't get in to see a vet for over 2 weeks and they're walking time is about 4 hours or more I am disabled and cannot sit in a hard chair that long I hear these people are good but if you can't ever get in to see him and they don't usually even answer the phone doesn't do much good I just moved here from Temple Texas where my vet even though we had thousands of patients would take time to call you back and they had a staff that would answer the phone every time you called and would bend over backwards to try to help you with your needs.

We had our male kitten Mick neutered today and everyone was wonderful and treated us with kindness. They were patient with us and provided excellent care for Mick. They were thorough to explain everything before and after the procedure. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I have been (trying ) and sometimes going to this place for over 3 years and in this time have never seen a veterinarian. They are very rude and the business hours, nobody knows. Cheaper is not better in this case, go somewhere else for better care.

Super friendly, and you don't have to see a vet just to get basic vaccines. This made the visit more affordable. They were quick to see us and were kind to my pets.03/25/23. Went on a Saturday mourning. They take 35 pets as walk in. We got there around 6am and there was already a long line along the highway. They opened the gates at 730 and gave you a ticket with a number. We were #23. Everyone that needed to see the vet lined up by number. They weighed the animals and said they would call back when it was our turn. About 1 1/2 hours later, they called and saw our dog. The vet spent plenty of time and addressed several concerns. The vet tech was nice and super helpful. Affordable and great service.

Honestly I’ve gone to this vet for years and these past years after Covid their service is terrible the staff always seemed annoyed and frustrated, they never answer the phone, there appointments are booked months ahead of time and if it’s emergency they do walk ins but only first 30 people and still you end up waiting all day to be seen with how slow they move. And the main vet seems like his practices are old I had took fur baby in for skin issues and stress And instead of providing any help just told me had to get rid of one of my dogs. Also I didn’t appreciate how I had a furbabby pass away and they didn’t offer anything besides the cremation which was a plain box, but no clay paw print no card no condolences. I ended up asked for a paw print and I had a vet tech give me it on a regular copy paper that had lab reports printed on the other side of it. I’ve had better service at other vet clinics so have no clue how they promote their number 1 in the Rgv.

I went to this place about a year or two ago for the first time due to one of my dogs that needed surgery. They were a great help with EVERYTHING including organizing an account for him to be able to receive donations for those people that wanted to help my poor Christmas at that time. After that i added more furbabies to my life and despite the distance from where i live i try to always have Country vet as my first option and reccomend it to others. Today i took two of my newest furbabies (2 puppies) and received free puppy kits with great information! Gracias!

Brought in a stray pup we decided to adopt and they did an excellent job getting her taken care of.They were very accommodating and we got all her shots and wormed for a very reasonable price.You can tell the staff really cares for the animals and also for their clients peoples!They gave us all the info we needed and I would definitely recommend these folks for your fur babies! If we lived here this would be our vet choice!
