You pay for what you get here. The room was $89. Smelled a little musty, and the bed was like having a piece of plywood on springs. When I went to make coffee in the room, it tasted like cleaner chemicals, as if they had used some kind of cleaner to wash the coffee machine out. If you need a place to sleep, it will do. Water was hot in the shower and a/c blew cold.Nearby activities: Dollar General and Truck Stop within walking distance.

Rooms updated and clean. Great water pressure. Plenty of towels. Microwave and fridge clean. Room smelled clean when we walked in. A Subway and Dollar General within walking distance. Easy on to freeway. Gas station by Subway. Pet friendly. Extra chairs and a sofa. Coffee pot worked great in the room. Prices perfect. TV worked great No breakfast due to COVID. Friendly check in.

Least comfortable bed, mattress, pillows of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Used covid tests in the night stand drawer, shows they don’t clean thoroughly. Prices online said $62, last at count charged me $85. I say keep driving to Houston. Not worth the stop

Had it not been late - we would have driven to another town to grab a room but Google showed that these rooms were $49 a night. Yes, we had a tiny dog with us and didn't mind paying their pet up-charge but even after I showed this pricing the guy at the desk, after taxes charged me just under $100. So, either taxes in that area are outrageous or he took me! I bet it is the latter....To make matters worse -- Astro's were playing. We asked (after looking ourselves) if we could get the Astos on their channels. Husband had to literally explain to the guy at the front desk who the Houston Astros were and that they played baseball. Not only that but had to add "baseball is a popular sport in the states" .. dude didn't have a clue whatsoever.Finally, the hairdryer fan was not working but it did heat up -- had I not been paying attention it would have caught on fire. It was already smoking.... this in under 10seconds. Unplugged and set it aside -- would have mentioned it to the front desk when I turned in the key but no one was there.Never again.Noteworthy details: see review

The hotel was a decent hotel for the price, breakfast as promised online... There was none... Dirty fridge, decent beds and clean rooms, lol except freezer part of fridge, as soon as we got into room the air was off so the room was at 92 degrees.. Isn't a bad place fix a couple things like clean fridge, actual breakfast of any kind and put the rooms on 80 so when someone gets there they aren't too hot, anyone knows that if AC is off it works harder therefore using more electricity to cool it down than already being on an actual number close to 78 lol... But was nice outside... No pool.. If they get breakfast back we will be back...Nearby activities: Beach about 30 minutes away, canal about 20 minutes away..

Been here a couple times and it is reliable, friendly family management, decent rates, plenty of parking and next door to travel center with truck parking. Room was clean and has all amenities including fridge, microwave with good coffee. Travel center next door is practically in parking lot for food and drinks. Location is east of Beaumont and a little over an hour from Houston. Normally this would be a 3 star hotel but for all the reasons I detailed I am giving it a four star rating. If you are looking for a good place to rest that is easy to get to and nothing fancy. This is your place. If you drive a Large vehicle and trailer this is an excellent place that you can park in front of room to keep an eye on your vehicle.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. We booked online due to no other options after Hurricane Delta. We were in the area to take care of some business. We were thankful to have a room, but he tried telling us he couldn't honor price online and we needed to pay more. Then when we entered room it smelled horrible and was filthy. The manager was banging on door about ten minutes after we were there. I kept asking who it was. Before I knew it he was entering his key card to come in. HE Demanded the people before us left their stuff. There was nothing in the room when we got there. Be careful if you choose this place.

Well, if you not afraid cockroaches you can stay here. Paid $60.00 per night. TV is not working, no signal. Room has a microwave and fridge. Also coffee maker and hair dryer. Free internet included. Clean and nice parking lot.

We checked in after dark and had to check in outside using a window despite there being a lobby that was closed with lights turned off. It gave it a very sketchy gas station vibe and it was cold outside so standing in the lobby would have been much better.The rooms are large, cozy, and the AC/Heat worked great. Would have preferred body wash to bar soap but they provided bar soap.It was a comfortable stay and the closest place to where I was visiting. I would probably stay here again rather than drive from one of the larger cities to the east or west.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!! Our toilet wouldn't flush. Instead of spending someone to fix it they asked us to remove the lid and push the button in the bowl to flush!! Our room phone didn't work and neither did the hairdryer. We booked 2 nights. I didn't even sleep in the room last night. My parents did and had bugs crawling on them all night!! Shut it down! I would love to have the corporate office phone # to get refund. Worse experience ever

Clean room. No carpet! Comfy bed. Hot water. Cold ac. Great rate. After a miserable stay at a la Quinta in Hammond Louisiana this was so nice. Got a good night sleep for the rest of our road trip. ✌️ Thank you

The lighting in the room was horrible. The mattress was old, have a smell to it and was also very firm and uncomfortable. There were a little tiny roaches in the room and in the bathroom. I have a funny feeling that this is where I got covid from. After leaving there I was deathly ill for a few days and still ended up having my two weeks of quarantine.

We stayed here because it was the only hotel nearby the event we were attending, I wasn’t expecting it to be too bad since I saw it was rated 7/10 on a booking site. Then at night my boyfriend kept waking up in the middle of the night and was itching himself, thats when we had discovered the bed bugs in between the sheets and under the pillows. Honestly, we should’ve just slept in the car.

Broken pieces of meth pipe was in the drawer of our room. Owner tried to enter using his key without our permission. Booked on priceline, but he tried to raise the rates when we got there. The blanket on my moms bed had cigarette holes in it. I could go on and on. I usually don't write bad reviews, only good ones. But if I can save someone the money and energy from having to deal with this place, I will. We only stayed here because it was the only place in this area that had an available room due to the hurricane.

Worst motel I’ve EVER stayed at in my life! Truck broke down and had to gut it for one night. It was like a nightmare bed over 20 yrs + old very uncomfortable, refrigerator leaking water in the floor, I didn’t bother pulling sheets back just slept on top with clothes on, next morning caught a ride to Baytown with awesome local wrecker service (CSI)! If I could give it No “star” I would! Terrible Terrible Terrible, do not stay here, walk if you have to somewhere else!

This place was terrible, it smelt like mildew, the phone to call the main office didn’t work. The microwave was broken and the place was dirty. To top it all off the smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling. Wires hanging out, lights flickering and some didn’t work. Place was terrible and waste of money, trying to resolve and get a refund because we left the same day we checked in and they are giving us the run around. Do not waste your time

Called to check if there was a walk-in/roll-in shower in the handicap room. Asked twice & was told yes. Not only was our room NOT ready, the shower was a tub with rails & did not have any non-skid strips. Called the desk & got nothing!! The room was very clean however. Would not recommend though for the price.

My family and I were visiting my niece in Anahuac for her birthday and this is the hotel we usually stay for the weekend, about once every other year. This time I was somewhat skeptical after reading reviews, especially about bed bugs. Upon arrival, I was allowed to check out the room and bed before committing. The staff were very commodating, especially the young lady who checked me in during the afternoon. All n all, I will say the hotel is no palace, but it is a very nice, quiet and clean place to stay in the country side with free wifi and continental breakfast, and I definitely recommend it. I saw no evidence of bed bugs thus far.

Had two rooms reserved, two days in advanced and when we finally get there the guy told us he just gave our rooms away and that they were full so we couldn't even get other rooms. Mind you we never called and cancelled our reservations!!!!! SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER/OWNER on the phone and she actually hung the phone up on us. Horrible service there, not willing to make accommodations to help us out. We were hours away from our home town and it was 3am. Such an awful business!!!

Very bad customer service. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. There is no fluent communication when I asked for weekly rate instead of daily rate. I was charged $67 for 4 days straight.... ended up paying $268. Plus $335 for the "weekly rate". We got ripped off at this place and it's not worth the money. I would rather pay an extra $10 for motel 6 or super 8 motel. I would suggest going to a big chain motel rather than a small one because they won't steal your money. They also kept calling and calling my cellphone after we checked out because the manager said there was a broken wire and tv wasn't working. It was ridiculous to have someone call my cell phone claiming that we destructed the room. She wanted to charge us for the broken wire. I was very sure we didn't break anything so I asked if I could go see the wire and when I showed up, there was a broken wire. It was very infuriating because It wasn't us. I'm not sure what to think, I don't know if they did it on purpose but it was very frustrating to know that they can care less about their customers especially the ones who get ripped off. Breakfast was okay I guess but juice was always sour every morning, the apple juice seemed stale and the orange juice was somehow mixing with the apple juice and would dispense chunks of old orange juice falling from the dispenser spout. Very discussing and displeasing for the fact that I was charged so much money that I could have used elsewhere worth the price. Milk needs to be changed and instead of the gallon I'll feel safer drinking from individually packaged milk/juice cartons. Only thing good here was that the breakfast that was free I guess. Drive up a couple more miles to super 8 or motel 6 near Baytown....for your sake if you care about how your money is spent.

My Grand daughter and Great Grand daughter came from Nebraska to their Grandfather's funeral. They stayed Thurs., Fri., Sat. and Sun. night. They were going to stay Mon. night but decided that since they had to check in Hobby Air Port at 6:30 and not knowing their way around and the terrible traffic on 45 that it would be better to get a room closer to the air port and the car rental place. When they went to check out they were told they would have to pay for Mon. night. That was so wrong. I have always had family stay there and told everybody about it but no more. We will recommend Winnie or Baytown.

Walls to thin ... Rooms big with great remodel ... This Place could be great if they didn't ran out to people who got two Great Danes in one room on the side of you and a good old Texas boy he's got to talk at 4 in the morning on his loudspeaker on his phone cuz he's so ignorant manager won't give you an extended checkout not a minute brought it from its own country India the old 15 minute budget plan by the time you ask for 2 hours you're paying for an entire day don't bother asking for 15 minutes she'll pay for a day
