Very friendly staff! A good selection of items including wine and beer (but don’t expect the array of choices of huge suburban grocery stores like in Dallas or Austin). Prices seemed reasonable based on what I’d expect to pay in Dallas. If I lived in Glen Rose I would probably shop here.

The store could use a complete cleaning, but it's not filthy (mostly old looking). Their produce is usually just past being fresh & undamaged. However, they do occasionally have good sales on other groceries of which I shop. Another good aspect of the store is its' friendly staff.

Always a good friendly atmosphere at the store, if you're looking for more of a Mom and Pop feel or a store that makes you feel at home this is the store for you in Glen Rose. The current manager Chris is great, very down-to-earth, professional yet you can also talk to him like a normal person instead of a corporate professional who's tiptoeing around. I always enjoy going here!

I'm from the DFW area and visited thisnice and clean store with my church Men's group minister we assisted a retreat in camp David and 10 of us from church walked in to this stores and they gave us an excellent and outstanding customer service including in the meat departmentThank you so much.May Our Lord continue blessing this store.

Its I guess a "typical" small town grocery store. It has just about everything you need and is on my side of town so I go there a lot. Does Brookshires have more stuff? Yes. Is it better quality? Maybe but not noticeably so. And if I need to make a quick stop I always choose David's because, as the smaller grocery store, there are less people there, less wasted time searching big isles, and they do have at least some of everything.

David's is a good small town grocery store. It has most of what you need if you don't want to drive 30 minutes to the larger stores. The prices also reflect the convenience. They do have special deal days and double coupon days too.

Stopped by for some Dublin soft drinks. Service was fast and friendly. Only sold the Dublin soft drinks as individuals! Hoped I could buy them by the six pack or case, no luck.

Watch out for creepy store clerk. Had an employee greet me with “hey hot stuff” and proceed to harass me. It’s been 3 days but it still keeps bothering me :(

I came in to purchase a hat picked one out but I asked me to pay for it before it was creased I couldn't find anything else $164 for a hat that I can't wear because they was closing probably won't be back there again

Friendly staff and if Brookshire doesn't have it David's probably does. I find low sodium canned veggies, pasta, diet soda, pretzels, chips etc. Here and usually cheaper
