I really wanted to like it more, but it was just ok. I took my 3.5 year old there for exposure to animals.Pros:The snow leopard cubs were awesome,my daughter got to feed a baby giraffe lettuce, which was her favorite part. The lemurs were pretty cool.Everyone on staff was very nice.Cons:Most of the animals were sleeping or not within view. There was a lot of glare on glass enclosures so couldn't see anything in glass. The accommodations for the animals seemed a little lacking.I wish there were more animals and more interaction.I'm sure they're doing their best with the funds they have, but I don't think I'll be back unless they make some strides to improve.

We have been to many zoos since having our daughter. She was super excited to try out this zoo. Personally speaking this was one of the more expensive zoos we have been to compared to size and variety of other zoos. One thing that we did like is how much closer you are to the various animals.

Wednesday visit during spring break. 10min wait to get in park, a little crowded on the walkways with visitors & strollers. Arrived at 1015 in time to feed the giraffe. giraffe care taker was patient & answered all the questions about the giraffe.Spent 2 hours at the zoo. It’s small but good size for the price. The kids loved it. It’s well maintained & although they get crowded we love the bridge walkway.

I give this place a 10 star rating. It’s a small little zoo but there is quite a bit to see. I took My sister there so we had a girls day out and we loved it. We got to see black bears with your hard to find in the zoo now these days Armadillos giraffes chickens quite a few other animals. The only thing is they do not have a cafeteria to eat at so take your own lunch, but there is a park that’s attached to this. You can have a picnic before you go in and if you decide to have a picnic Just show them your receipt and you’re able to get back in and they have a cute little train ride. you were guaranteed to see quite a few beautiful animals here that you don’t normally see in a regular zoo. They do a good job at the upkeep of the animals and the animals look very healthy all the way down to the turtle. It’s amazing how many animals they do have I saw a fox a black bear, a turtle, an ostrich, giraffe duck cheetah, you must make time to be able to go to this cute establishment and they’re not expensive at all

Whoever works the ticket booth for patrons entering the zoo should be fired. The first time we went today it looked like about a 45 minute to an hour wait just to get inside the zoo because she was processing people at the rate of about one group every 5 minutes. We left and ran some errands and came back and were able to get inside within 10 minutes. Only because the guy inside the shop came out to let us know he could get some of us.Half of the exhibits didn't have animals.I've been through this zoo a few times over the years and it seems worse now than it's ever been. Just not a lot going on... and what they have is getting run down. Even the wood on the sky walkway is starting to rot.Way overpriced. You're not going to fix your problems by overcharging people.Nice keepers - but not the two people running the store/gate.. They should be replaced.

My husband and I had a great time at Frank Buck and really enjoyed seeing some animals we hadn't seen before in addition to familiar faces. The zoo is very clean and the animals have very spacious enclosures that allow visitors to see them up close. We will be back to bring our daughter here soon!

This is a small zoo named after a famous explorer. You can walk around the whole zoo in about 45min. Even though it is a small zoo it feels bigger than it really is.Priced inexpensive for family budgeting!I like the fact you get a wrist band to wear all day because if you want to have picnic in park or eat nearby you can come back same day. Although the lady in front didn't like us slipping in to look at 1 animal on end at 15min til closing. This zoo is short staffed and the trains dont run anymore. It wasn't too crowded on a weekend which made it is nice!

Beautiful little zoo, fun for the whole family! We stopped by here it was a pleasant surprise! The price is very inexpensive $7 for adults, $5 for kids . They had a large variety of animals ;animals looked well taken care of and feed. Lots of sanitizing station theough out the zoo . Not many people around and not crowed at all. There is no place to buy food only a small gift shop. Recommend bringing a drink or buying one before you start at the front gift shop! The giraffe/zebra area has a beautiful covered deck that's high above the ground. Highly recommend stopping there the view, breeze is very nice! Took us about an 1hr 1/2 to finish the zoo so it is very small but worth your time to check it out.

A small Zoo but well worth it. My older son did the flamingo feeding and he loved it. The staff while during the feeding offered lots of information about the flamingos and made sure to ask if you had any questions for them. We then did the giraffe feedings. Also another great experience. The staff member there was also very knowledgeable and willing to answer all the questions that you have.

Great little zoo with well kept animals. The zoo is really well kept and they have a really good variety of animals. Their cages were clean and they all seemed happy and well-fed. The whole zoo isn't very big but definitely worth the price. The customer service is what needs a little work. Some of the employees were great and very friendly while others seemed to be bothered by questions. I also didn't like that there was only one very small restroom in the very beginning. But, overall a great ace to visit for a few hours. Also, as everyone has noted the free castle playground in the front is a major plus. The kids loved running around in it after the zoo visit.

We really enjoyed the walk that is elevated around the African portion. Nice small quick zoo with lots of shade besides the African area.

There’s a park across from here so you park there and walk. Perfect for people with little ones. The woman at the window could of been more friendly! The cost per adult is $9.00 and $7.50 for active military with ID. It’s a short zoo but very nice. The animals did look sad! My son got to feed the goats. Please fill up the food machine! It takes only quarters. The weather was beautiful! I was hoping we get to feed the giraffes. Overall it’s about 40-45 mins walk around the zoo.

Great family zoo with some cool animals. Whole place is stroller friendly and easy to walk it. Kinda small but the place is definitely worth it. Cover was less than 10 bucks can't beat. And the park across makes it that much better to get the kids out the house on the weekend

Not a large zoo, but it has a surprising variety! The area is laid out as a large loop, walkable in either direction. Exhibits were clean and the animals were cared for. There is also an opportunity to feed giraffes from your hand on an elevated platform, but our trip was not planned in advance and we were not around at the right time to do that. Admission for our group of adults was $9 each, which I found more than reasonable for the two or so hours we spent here.

I love this zoo! I am a fan of smaller zoos as I feel they have some of the better animals and attractions. I loved their black bear and my daughter’s favorite animal is the cheetah and we actually saw them here! Great place, nice to walk around and a lot less traffic than the big city zoos! Also much more affordable! We’ll be back soon!

Awesome zoo for a fraction of the price of a bigger zoo. My 2 yo loved it and had a blast. Less than 8 dollars for adults, 5 to feed the giraffes. Big park but not too big
