I always volunteer to go to the store when it's a trip to Girouards. I love this local General hardware+ store. You can get anything from PVC glue to decorative gold trimmed trays from Italy. It always amazes me when I go in for 2 things and find that I lingered browsing around for an hour. Love the history lessons added to the store website, Thanks!

If you can't find it at Gerard's, you won't be able to find ithis general store been in the neighborhood for evil and I pray that I'll be longer-term cause they serve the public well.

Very helpful! I've gone to Girouard's regularly through my years of living here. They are always helpful and carry a huge assortment of items. I've purchased tools, septic clean-outs, decorative items and more.

Great place to find your hardware needs. I don't know the staff's names, but ALL OF THEM are very helpful and make customer service look so easy. Their prices are generally lower than anywhere else.

Girouard's is one of a kind. Usually considered a hardware store, it's also has much of the stuff from a general store. A very complete selection of plumbing parts, a good amount of electrical parts, great variety of rope, and so much more.

Still an amazing general store feel. Like their motto from back in the day "If we don't have it then you don't need it." Even though not true then nor now. Was browsing killing time. Always an interesting shopping trip. And as always good selection of cast iron cookware.

Girouards is a Freeport Institution! You never know what you'll find there. And the saying of"if we don't have it, you don't need it" really applies here! We always try to spend our money here before we drive all the way to Lake Jackson to spend at huge chain stores. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have loved this store since I was a little girl, and I still love it. I find excuses to stop here💜 awesome range of parts, even hard to find parts. Just love this store, even when I'm not looking for parts...lol..... I love their assortment of home goods and decorations. Great for buying gifts, pretty and one of a kind items. Just awesome. There is one woman in there who is an expert, I intentionally ask for when I'm stumped on how to fix something, she knows where everything is and has great ideas, I guess you will have to go in and ask for the expert LOL worth a stop 😀

They have pretty much everything. They know it too. You are definately charged for the convenience. High prices. But with the stock that they have, you can keep a work day moving further ahead without having to travel out of Freeport. They have odd items and particular items that just may pull your fat out of the fire. Excellent staff. Knowledgeable.

What a wonderful place with great people! Open on the fourth of July, I called them and they found the part I needed to repair our water well. They had it waiting for us at the check out counter as we drove from north of Angleton to get it. I will vall them first and make the drive from now on. Thank you so so much. God's peace.

Love Girouard's. They have an eclectic mix of everything you need except groceries. It is fun to walk around, just for a glimpse of an old style hardware store. And the people are great.
