Very cool concept done exquisitely well by Petco! Staff and store was amazing! Even chatted with the regional manager whom was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All the animals looked very healthy and well cared for. And the store boosts a large selection of quality products and supplies. Would totally recommend anyone to go make the trip to Floresville to check it out!

I love shopping at Petco. They stock everything needed for whatever pet you have. The staff is knowledgeable as well. They also host pet adoptions every once in a while. We adopted our Buddy there.

Watch out if you buy freshwater fish from Petco in Floresville. We bought 5 bottomFeeder fish last Sunday and now all my other fish are dying to include 2 pretty good size Angel fish. I am watching at least one die each day. Never had this happen before

Your fish department needs a lot of help. Selection is very limited and basic. Fish department is also lacking. I have a 133 gallon cichlid tank and I frequently went to your City base road location and their cichlid and other fish selection was above average for a commercial pet store. The Floresville store started out really good with a large variety of fish but now it looks pretty sad.

Me and my daughters love going to Petco. We just love having our new members to our family... 2 guinea pigs, a turtle,a fish and our new gecko...☺️ Employees are always kind,helpful and friendly

3 visits to the store within a week; the parking lot was clear of trash and weeds so nice curb asthetics; store was clean; employees were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Up until today, I have had a great experience at this store.After I checked out, I was a bit confused as to why the items I purchased weren't being bagged. So, I noticed the cashier (Mika) was pregnant and thought I would be nice and help her out. That is when she informed me that plastic bags were 10 cents. I asked since when, and she said Feb of 2023. I replied, "I haven't been charged for a bag before, and I have been in several times within that timeframe." She then argued with me, saying I had been charged before and again. I said no, I hadn't. She also uncovered (it was not visible at all) a stuck on sign behind the register that explained the cost of the 10 cent plastic bag rule they had.The irony of my experience is that the fish my daughter purchased were in plastic bags, and she wasn't charged for them.Maybe I will take a plastic bucket in for fish next time to prove how ignorant the 10 cent plastic bag at the checkout rule is...I'd like to recognize Ari and Kensey as being wonderful staff who have always helped me. Mika, on the other hand, could use more customer service training.

They are extremely helpful staff. The quality of the supplies is fantastic.Edit 1 date 12/18/2023: I'm thinking about changing my mark to 4 stars. Today, I gave my dog a bath there. They changed the water to cold water only. I have used the bath before, and I could adjust the water temperature. I just want it warm. Kinda close to body temperature?

Good store, small for most PetCo's I hVe been to, but great for a small town like Floresville TX weak on some of the pet foods at that my pets like but it's all good. Friendly associates and great at giving assistance when need very clean store...like always check it out for yourself and make your on decisions, me, I will keep shopping there.

This particular location is a great store and the staff is very friendly as well as knowledgeable on the creatures that they carry. I also love that at this particular location I do not have to wait a long time for crickets. The location on NE military is super busy, very understaffed and you can never find assistance when needed. This location is different.

I went in to buy some fish and I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed help. I said I was looking for fish and was told to just let them know when I was ready to pick my fish. Very helpful two young ladies and knowledgeable about the fish. Thanks!

It's brand new and really big, and really nice! They have about everything you can think of. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you, and when they do see you walking around, they may slightly smile and say hello, but generally they don't ask you if you need any help, which sometimes I do cause I'm not sure where everything is. I've been twice now and will go again :)

Friendly & well stocked if you want premium dog or cat food. If you feed strays and/or need bulk food. Probably not the place for you.The store is very clean & airy. The staff is helpful & attentive. Great selection of treats, collars, leashes, etc.The Floresville location is new, but my dogs already recognize the bags and can't wait to see what yummy treats I've gotten them this time.

First time using the self serve wash. Been to other companies and was very satisfied. Not this time. Feel like I just paid for smelly wet dogs. I swear no soap was coming out and I tried all of them. Never again.

They don't carry Dubia roaches for my bearded dragon. I have been asking since they opened. And 8 out of 10 times I visit they don't even have the super worms in stock. Overall a clean store and I love going in

It's was our first time getting a fish tank. They were very informative and helpful. My only complaint is the 1st day we were told by an associate we could only get 2 to 3 fish with a 5 gallon tank, So we opted for a 10 gallon tank. When we went back 48 hours after set up another associate told us we could only have 3 with the 10 gallon. These are 2 inch fish at their biggest. So we got 2 fish and a ghost shrimp.
