This store is OVERPRICED! I think since it’s so far away they want to have there prices super high and it’s not fair for the people that live in the small town. Rip off big time.

I really like this place. Reminds me of an old store in my town. They have a nice tortilla machine that makes good size tortillas. They also have a great bakery with some pretty good Mexican bread. I'm about 300+ miles away from Fabens but anytime I go to El Paso I stop in Fabens. It's a nice treat to get the variety of sweet breads they have. Spanish is the 1st language there being so close to the border so be ready for that. Friendly people though and I'll always stop here when going through the area.

It's a good place, if you're used to bigger town stores then you might be disappointed, pretty much simple, basic fare.Mostly Mexican food staples and plenty of Spanish music blaring overhead.Howabout some English language stations once in a while? Not far from the Interstate 10 exit.

I like the food options, etc. The only complaint I have is that during the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to order 15 turkeys for my workers. YOU WOULDN'T ALLOW US TO DO THAT. So we went elsewhere. Then, just today I called to order 30 - $100 gift cards for my workers, you don't offer them. And that's okay. Not everybody does.I called, but the "manager" young lady seemed un-interested and was rather flippant about it. I think the owner should be privy to this anyway. So sad.....

Don't expect to see many people unless it's a holiday or something of that sort. Because it'll get full real quick. Any other day you can have the store for yourself. There's almost everything you need as far as groceries go. It is a supermarket after all. As to the prices... I just buy stuff. But if I must say something... anything groceries / food related probably has a good pricing. Anything that isn't food and such is probably more pricey than at other stores. So just come here to do you grocery shopping. Stick to the name

If I could give this place a negative 10, I would. Went to buy masa for tamales unprepared, and was beyond disgusting! The tortilleria said it was real masa, got home to find it was masa harina! BUYERS BEWARE!

I really enjoy this store. The staff is always very polite and friendly. The meat prices are better then Walmart. All around they carry everything I need and it saves me a lot of gas money not having to drive to el el paso. Basically if you find yourself in fabens or one of the small neighbor towns (I live in Sierra Blanca) it is far cheaper to go here instead of Van Horn or a Walmart in El Paso. Hope this review helps any out of towners looking for affordable groceries at excellent quality.

Every other time I get produce, its a little hard to choose good quality vegetables or fruits, either not ripe yet or way passed their time. As well as damaged produce. Milk, is always 1 week from expiration, but always at market price, I don't mind the 20 minute drive to Walmart to pay the same price for double (sometimes triple) the freshness of produce, or other goods. Cashiers turnover super often and that gives a clear sign of something but I digress. Otherwise has has what you need 90% of the time so it's not all negative.

To find a market that has decent prices on the cusp of urban and rural is rare. The cuts of meat are fairly priced with a good quality, and at $7.99 a pound for Barbacoa, I've seen the same for $3.00 more at one grocery in El Paso. There is a decent variety of vegetables and fruit, dairy, fish and meat along with a prepared selection of ready to eat meat or hot burritos or chicken or tamales, depending on the day. Homemade tortillas and pastries as well as many things you'd find in a larger chain store. Folks here are also polite and friendly.

It's a decent market with good variety but prices are a bit high and some fruits and vegetables aren't always very fresh. The restrooms could use some improvement as well, do not recommend using them unless it's an emergency!

I come here at least 5 days out of the week, usually when I get off of work. There is never more than two cashier lanes open. There is a young man who is a manager (always wears a baseball cap) and every time I am here, he just loves to watch the lines pile up but never helps out. He just stands there and looks at the lines without any sense of urgency to alleviate the wait time. He doesn't even go out if his way for the elderly. I can typically find what I need in less than 10 mins but to check out takes 20 to 30 mins minimum. Never come here between the hours of 3:00 PM to 7: 00 PM. If you have no other choice plan to be here for an hour.

This is a small grocery in Fabens, Texas. Fabens is a small border town. The grocery is more expensive and has less widely known products than your big box stores, but the tortillas are fresh and made on site. The pasteles and conchas are fresh and delicious! The bakery has many different kinds of pan dulce and all have been fresh, soft and tasty! The produce department is not the largest or freshest, but it is there. The meat department is small, but there's something for everyone. This place carries the brands that many Hispanic families know and love and you wouldn't find at Walmart fifty miles away. I too love them, but do miss the wide selection of products that Walmart can carry. I still stop in to buy my tortillas and conchas! Something else this little market does that none of the big box stores do nowadays: bag bulk items in less expensive packaging for low income shoppers. I haven't seen this since the early 80's! I like this little store and you should give it a try too!

One of the bags the cashier put the items in was a little too heavy. Thought I was going to lose my items before I fly t to the car.

Most of the cashiers are nice , but there's two or three that treat people like they're not there . The employees in the meat department are all nice and helpful.

Prices are okay, music is always to loud, they have great home made tortillas. Will not ask for more cashiers when lines are long.

Helpful staff and clean facilities, even the restroom. Products are products, they come as they are. A good team and clean facilities is vital. I like this store alot.
