We enjoyed stopping in Home Grown Market. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and answered all our many questions. We purchased blue cheese, wagyu filets and a ribeye.We cooked the Filets that evening and used the blue cheese in our salads.We will differently be adding Ennis to our return route from the big city to home. The aged wagyu beef from Home Grown Market is will worth going a little out of the way to pick up.

The meat selection is amazing. Lucy, the owner, is even more so! Seriously, she’s beyond accommodating, always willing to help and answer my long list of questions. I’ve purchased ribeyes, filets and tri tip, all wagyu, and all among the best cuts of meat I’ve ever had. Quickly became my go-to for elite cuts of meat.

This was a special event that was decorated by the clients. BBQ, baked potatoes, salad was the menu. Dessert brought in by the client. Nice room for about 35-40 people with room for a few more. Download location. Facebook page gives availability, hours, a wagyu beef sale, lunch times and locations. One Facebook post is "Sorry for the late notice. We will be open at noon for lunch and steaks" so check beforehand.

I normally do not post reviews but I had to with this place. The food here is beyond delicious. I would rather eat here than eat at any 5 star restaurant. Lucy is an amazing cook and great and bubbly person. Just moving here from a different state my mom and I decided to try this place because it’s a family owned local business, and I was not disappointed. From the sandwiches to burgers omg you had to try and the fries are heaven. The ranch both regular and jalapeño are soooo good. If you haven’t tried this place I’d suggest you do it! You will not be disappointed.

These Waygu ribeyes were great. Cooked them on the Egg for the in-laws and they loved them. Kinda pricey but worth it.

I recently moved to Ennis and discovered this place. Lucy is friendly as she can possibly be. Her Wagyu beef has ruined any other beef for me. I’ve cooked her briskets, filets, and ribeyes... All with outstanding results. It’s a little pricey compared to shopping at a grocery store, but you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for something better than average Prime, she has what you need. I definitely recommend anyone serious about high quality beef to shop here. You will not be disappointed.

Lucy was very informative and was pleased to answer our questions as it was our 1st time there. Meat selection is good, plus eggs, cheese, drinks. Only been once so I'm sure there is more. Cant wait to cook your brisket lucy!

Bought three items to taste test. The fresh pimento cheese spread is awesome. The salami is first rate. The sausage links are probably some of the best I have ever tasted. The Flavor is perfectly balamced.
