I probably shouldnt complain because this staff ate always friendly, but im in a wheelchair and they dont enough handicapped spaces to park, the aisles are way too narrow, and self check out is a ridiculous system especially the weight scales where the grocery bags very ineffecient. Good products, just very difficult for mobility impaired.

Smaller HEB compared to some large cities. Friendly staff, clean store and well stocked. Some specialty items found at larger locations not always in supply (such as turkey sausage products).

Would be great if you fixed the pharmacy drive thru. This one line for over a year with cars lined out in the street is getting ridiculous. It shouldn't take over 30 minutes as the 3rd car in line to get meds. Or even the same amount of time in the store with your one line.Also why on earth are you closing all the registers and the self checkout except one register an hour before the store closes? Those lines get out of hand too. Everyone in this town wants an expansion of this heb, but this heb can't even get their act together. Imagine how terrible a bigger store would be.

I used to shop here more often but I wasn't happy with the selection, and I also had issues with the pharmacy. That aside, this is my go-to place for fresh fruit. The grapes in particular always look large and appealing, and their apples beat Walmart's selection hands down. Though I may not always come here for all my groceries, I am very thankful for the produce area!

I have some medical problems with resulted in me having to use one of the electric scooters and a worker walked up to me and told me that I needed to get off the scooter so that she could take it to the other side

It is a good place, recently I bought chicken from H-E-B and the package was sticky, for some reason it smelled so bad (the package) I’m not sure if this was because of the place of packaging or something else, so I had to put it in the trash, that is the only time I has a bad experience at H-E-B. The food they prepare is really good with a big variety of food and is really tasty. The customer service it’s excellent. The place it’s clean, except of the toilets, I saw many bugs in the floor one time, in general I would go again, the fruits and vegetables are always good quality, they have many options of meat even rare fruits. They have good prices every day, with coupons everywhere, but I think that should change. Eliminate the coupons and be automatically in the system. And not use too much plastic in the fruit packages.

I was curious what one of the H-E-B stores on the outskirts of DFW was like, so I took someone to the Ennis location. The store seemed comparable in size to a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Service was good. The regular sized stores or H-E-B plus are much better experiences, but I would choose this H-E-B over shopping at a local Kroger or Walmart even though the selection of products is much smaller than a larger store's.

Ordered a bunch of tomatoes (100 of the big slicing ones and 150 of the romas). The guy in produce was very helpful but the cashiers and other staff members not so much. Instead of weighing the individual tomatoes for an accurate price they weighed one box with the tomatoes in it and multiplied it times the number of boxes. Which would be fine but the boxes themselves are heavy. I weighed the tomatoes after I got home and I had 60lbs of slicing and 30 of romas. Which at the current prices without tax should have been about $100. Since they weighed the boxes with the tomatoes it cost me $230. Then when I asked for assistance getting them into my vehicle one guy that was asked as he walked by said no, which he wasn't doing anything else. And then another lady ended up helping me. Very poor customer service and laziness. The tomatoes also ended up having bad spots on them due to the staff tossing them around.

I've shopped at the Ennis HEB about a dozen times. Nice clean, neat store. But don't expect any of the employees to speak to you. (The exception being the cashiers as you check out.) Otherwise, "Good Morning" or a similar greeting is not in the vocabulary of the employees.

Great place to shop. H-E-B has a big variety of food choices to pick from. They have self check outs and normal ones better then Walmart 🙃. My go to store to shop at I find everything I need for each meal and more!!! I give 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Definitely recommend this H-E-B

Enjoyed my visit very much. I could easily find the things I needed without much effort. My only gripe was at the checkout. The clerk had little to no regard for our (my wife and I) groceries. They were carelessly put in the cart with no rime or reason with no regard for what it was toss against or on top of for that matter. Here's a small example. We purchased a insulated freezer bag, we planned to carry it flat... she took it out of the bag to scan it then she put it in the bag then, then picked it up by the handles and roughly placed it in the cart... come on... really? I love HEB. I'm guessing she was having a bad day or had a bad day. Thanks for letting me vent. You guys are Great! Thanks again.

This location is not what I thought it would be. I’ve been to a different location and it was huge compared to this location. The cashier’s at this location was not friendly and made the shopping experience terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone that I know.

Better quality than the other store in town, but smaller selection. No furniture, no TVs or PC. Can't upgrade your phone or buy a table saw, but the groceries are better.

Have always preferred my local HEB over Walmart, Ive lived in ennis pretty much all my life! Today Amy disappointed me, if she’s unhappy working there and has a problem being courteous to customers she needs to find a different job. Today while there was an elderly man in front of me she showed nothing but a face of annoyingness towards him because he didn’t know what kind of peaches he grabbed. Then she proceeded to hand my item to an another coworker to send me to self check out while the whole time never looking at me or speaking to me. It’s always the older ladies there that give off the worst attitudes. Y’all need to get off y’all’s high horse and do us all a favor and just retire already.

Not as great as other HEBs I've been in. But it's eh ok. And we love HEB, but we've had this store for a long time with a just few updates but nothing fancy. Parking lot is absolutely terrible. If you know how great HEB is, this one here will disappoint you, sadly! Hope they can renovate to add more parking but also on the inside.

The store is a little bigger then a general store you get what you get..and be😁you got! Produce is awful tomatoes seen better days in trash also watch when you use coupons..that you get full value stated on coupon they do not except lot of coupons either parking is absolutely the worst

It was Thanksgiving day & the store was really, really full, closing in 90 min. Employees were good natured & very helpful! Even went in the back & found me a ham, non were left. Made our Thanksgivng! My kids don't like turkey. Thank you Ennis HEB employees.

My go to grocery store! I try not to go to Walmart, if I don't have to. Their produce is better and more economical. They always have deals and coupons. Most of the time they are fully stocked. Walmarts always out of the stuff I need at the time. Their employees are friendly and helpful. Been going to HEB a long time.
