I was an emotional wreck. Tuff is my heart dog. He is 16 and I’ve been avoiding the vet for fear I’d be told to put him down. Turns out that was unfair to him. Dr. Wade, Melinda and the rest of the staff were so kind. They informed me of all the options for my old man. I felt like they truly took the time to understand, explain and care. We are working on improving his final years. 10 out of 10 recommend Ennis Veterinary Clinic.

I saw Dr. Clark or whatever her name is not even knowing I was talking to a doctor. I experienced probably one of the most horrible experiences in the vet possible with her. Very dismissive and WILL talk over you even when expressing concern for your animal. It seemed as if she wasn’t listening at all and I would have to restate what my main concerns were and the actual reason why I was there with my cat. I understand cats can be hard to read but when I give you loads of information as to what issues my cat is having and all you have to say is “my question was if he was eating and drinking?” I get the feeling you aren’t qualified to diagnose a damn thing or even care about my concerns. You gave me the excuse that if my cat was a DOG you’d be able to give me a diagnosis, then my only advice is to stop seeing felines and stick to dogs.

Absolutely love this clinic. The staff and Dr Boyd are amazing! My dog was missing for 5 days, I called to let them know just in case someone brought her in. They were so sympathetic and helpful. My dog came home and I brought her in to get checked as she did have an injury. I walked in and just said I had an appointment at 8:30 and they knew my pups name and story! Dr Boyd was great and so patient. He truly seemed to care and gave great advice. I felt so relieved and so grateful for everyone there that helped. I highly recommend! If you have a fur baby, please take them here and the entire staff will be sure to take good care of you!

Finding this wonderful place has been an answer to prayer. I drove from Dallas to escape the big city, bought out by large corporations, veterinarians. The person care I received for my fur baby was worth the drive!

Dr Boyd and the staff here are amazing. My dog was very sick and needed surgery sooner than later. They did everything they could do to make this procedure possible. My khloe is doing well and on the road to recovery. True hero’s. I will never go anywhere else.

My puppy and I were pulled back in a timely manner, the staff was extremely kind, and Dr. Wilson was very personable! He also allowed me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted and did not rush our visit whatsoever. We are very excited to have our sweet baby Piper cared for at this clinic.

I have been taking my cat and dogs here for 12 years. They are compassionate and friendly office. I've had to have a dog seen right away with no appointment, and they've always worked me in. Great staff and prices are awesome. As long as I have pets, I'll take them to Ennis Veterinary Clinic. I thank you and so do all my pets.

Our furbaby Brody had started having seizures at about 1 1/2 yrs old, the staff was always very helpful. When we knew we couldn't make it to Cedar Hill again for 24 hour care, we rushed over and the EVC staff dropped everything and tried to revive him. Unfortunately, our baby didn't make it that day, but we are thankful to them for definitely trying, above and beyond that day.

Those sweet ladies at the front desk always keep their cool no matter how crazy busy they are, they always treat the person they are dealing with as though that person was the only one in the clinic.

I take my three dogs for their routine visits to the Ennis Vet Clinic and it is always great to see the staff. They love your fur babies as much as you do. In this particular visit, Cathy helped my Shih Tzu be seen emergently and calmed my fears in the process. I knew I could count on this staff to treat the health concern and explain what was going on. We received instructions, medications, and advice for care. They set us up for success!

Nightmare of an experience, don’t go. My first vet patient visit was the worst vet experience I’ve had.I booked an appointment two weeks in advance, yet I was treated like I was a walk-in. I got there 10 minutes prior to appointment time, but they led me back into a room about 40 minutes past my appointment time. I did not even get a patient room, I was stored in the radiology room with a picnic chair! When the vet techs drew blood for a heartworm test with my dog, they did not keep pressure on the vein in her arm afterwards, or wrap it, so it continued to bleed and trickle down her leg. I looked around the room for any kind of swab or wrap, but because it was the radiology/food storage room, they had nothing. This was careless and unprofessional.When the vet came in, she hardly looked at me, she ignored me when I mentioned concerns about my dog in regard to her annual exam. ( her heart specifically). The vet completely ignored me and the vet tech actually repeated what I said to her to get her attention. She still did not make eye contact with me while she barely looked over my dog. I think the actual amount of time I interacted with the vet was a total of two minutes. It was not even an interaction, we were just in the same room. I did not feel valued as a customer, and quite frankly, I was embarrassed.I would never recommend this vet clinic to anyone.

They really and truly care about my pets.They give you the best care possible for any budget you have. I really like that you can do walk ins on Saturdays. The staff is super friendly and professional. I currently have a GSD puppy and can't wait to see what his future holds with the help of these fine people 😉 . Jason & Ashley were fantastic with making us & Toby feel comfortable & safe while in office. Definitely didn’t feel like strangers all though we had all just met! I will definitely be taking Toby back for anything he needs. Well worth the drive for the love & care Toby received. Also front staff was very helpful & nice.

That was my first time at the clinic. We move few weeks ago to Ennis and my little dog break her nails while playing in the yard. The doctor was absolutely excellent and gentle , all the staff was gorgeous.

My dog died today because they didn’t tell me how urgent it was to get him to a hospital that day. Instead they told me it’s pretty bad but it will go away with some pills. He passed away 3 HOURS LATER.may he rest in peace. They told me he will be okay most likely because they wanted money for unnecessary medication. We should’ve gone to the hospital, I admit that was kind of our fault. But they told us it wasn’t that urgent. And we didn’t know what was wrong with him. Turns out he had pneumonia.
