Highly recommend their fajitas!! Tasty, tender and served hot!! This place was okay;good news is there's room for improvement of the minor tweaks I'd recommend. They were short-handed which could explain the lukewarm food. Rice and beans were on point! Their fish was excellent! Their shrimp was good but overcooked just a tad. Their fries appeared to be fresh cut in-house and were awesome!! Their burger was pretty good too. Reasonable prices. They need to work on service, need more lighting in dining room and need to fix their soda fountain machine.

Food was very tasty. Burger was great. Chicken was also great and crispy. Hot dogs were good just wish bun length franks were used. The lady in the front register was great and had a wonderful helping attitude.

I live just outside of Elsa so I thought I'd give Lee Roy's Chicken and Burgers a try. The restaurant is located right at the border between Edcouch and Elsa in a strip mall and is easy to miss.Parking is quick as there is no curb, so parking ones car means just driving in to the parking area.. The building is older, and the entrance is a simple glass door. The exterior like the interior is no nonsense and nondescript. There is plenty of seating inside.I placed a phone order for two burger combos with a busy young woman and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was.I have to say the burger is filling. The beef patty appears to be a 1/3 pound and the buns are soft and chewy. It is a large tasty burger reminding me of what we used to get at Whataburger. In my opinion the amount of meat demands more cheese to balance it out, but then that is my preference as some people don't want cheese in their burgers. Aside from that, the combo of this very filling burger and fries along with a drink was reasonably set at the time of this posting at a little over 8 dollars.I recommend the burgers at Lee Roy's Chicken and Burgers.

Had been hearing a lot of good things and decided to give it a try. Hands down some of the best friend chicken I have ever had! This combo included a cheese burger, fried breast, fries and drink, all for $11! Owner was there and walking around and chatting with customers. Very friendly place and homie. Definitely going back with family and friends!

Mom and pop shop at its finest. My First time their i felt like family. Greeting as soon as you enter the door. Lovely staff, great service very attentive. I can't remember the name of the plate but it was a fried to perfection chicken thigh, tender and crispy complimented with a thick hearty burger just dripping with flavor and of course thick cut fries to seal the deal. Sweet tea that was just the cherry on top sweet enough to flirt with a cavity, savory yet border line safe from diabetes if that doesn't sound appetizing my friends you are missing out if you haven't enjoyed some of this home style cooked meal. A full belly, with great service. The prices are fair for the good you are eating. Overall 10 out of 5.

That chicken though!!!!!!!! The burger was great but that chicken boy!!...these guys know how to fry chicken...ke church's y ke KFC no traine nada compared to these guys....except yours mom...oui I gotta go...

The compadre plate is always a must for me! The chicken is consistently good and when dipped in their side of mayo its just perfect! The fries go hand in hind with the mayo too! Theyre extremely long cut and very soft, not crispy (which is how i like them). But the burger, oh man the burger always hits hard! It's a simple handmade patty but man is it good! Staff is always super friendly and inviting. This hole in the wall is worth the stop.

Was very disappointed after hearing so much on them. Lady at the cashier boss was very rude. Burger was aweful and fajita nachos was also toasted fajitas and counted maybe 12 tiny pieces and cold. They were the worst I've ever had. Maybe I'll try chicken next time if at all. Maybe they had a bad day. Willing to give another chance with chicken.

Sorry guys but, we walked in took about for steps inside and proceeded back out the door. This place had a strong moldy smell which was hard to overcome. I read some of the reviews for this place so we wanted to try it but the smell was too strong to sit and eat.

The Fried Chicken is delicious. Best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. My family loves their burgers too. It’s just that the wait is super long. But I guess it’s okay cuz it’s well worth it when your eating your great food. Hot and well served. Friendly environment.
