Wonderful venue! Guests can seamlessly flow between both indoor and outdoor event spaces, which creates a nice event flow and provides multiple areas for groups/individuals to gather and socialize. Covered and equipped with heaters and a fire pit, the outdoor space can be used year round. Wendy and her staff are great to work with and happy to accommodate most any request. I highly recommend this venue!

Love the Desk and Easel! Have been to a number of gatherings hosted here and the inviting indoor and outdoor aesthetics and layout make it easy to host lots of people. Wendy is a great owner and works to make whatever you are wanting to accomplish work. Have also met and heard from several who office there and they love having office space to work and host business clients. We just had our first gathering there and it was a home run!

The Executive Suite (and an additional room for Storage) in the Boardwalk Building was exactly what was needed for our lengthy stay in Downtown Sherman. A very walkable area, close to the courthouses, shops, and restaurants. The suite fit our 10-person group snuggly but with multiple rooms and access to other areas we were able to make it work. Some important features available to us were 24/7 access, a secure space, a gally style kitchen, and a list of resources and local businesses in the area. Wendy with Desk and Easel was extremely helpful and responsive. Her network of local contacts and her guidance were invaluable.

The Desk & Easel is a great workspace and wonderful community! There are multiple options to fit most…if not all…working situations and scenarios. I rent a “dedicated desk” and am able to be incredibly productive with a large, electronic standing desk and ergonomic chair. The WIFI is lightening fast, excellent for Zoom calls, responding to email, and pulling down reports from my company’s intranet. The bonus of the Desk and Easel is the people you get to meet and work around…a diverse community of professionals from different fields and backgrounds means there’s never a dull conversation. Owner Wendy Acosta and Community Manager Erin are always looking for ways to be accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. After-hours events hosted by Wendy and her husband round out that sense of community. This is a place to get some work done but you will find the Desk & Easel has so much more to offer!

I LOVE the new space Wendy has created in Downtown Denison. A daily rate is a great place to start. I've held several Vision Board Classes in her space, as well as worked in a private office. It's ideal for ANY industry.

If you need a flexible space or office space in the Sherman/Denison area this is the place for you. The offices and building are amazing and Wendy and Erin are fantastic and so responsive. They quickly helped us with a unique space that we needed. I highly recommend using the Desk & Easel!

I work remotely and was going to be in the Sherman area for about 2 weeks. I often have to do video conferencing and need fast internet and quiet rooms.Thankfully, Desk & Easel came up as the closest co-working space.The space is easy to reach since it is right in the downtown area of Denison. Literally one left turn from the main road leading into the downtown area from HWY 75. Parking is also easy.The space is not as modern as others I've used, but it gives you more privacy. There are only a limited number of open desks (7 I think), so you may want to call ahead to confirm if they have any available for a walk-in.The internet is very fast. They have meeting rooms that can be used and free water/coffee/tea. It's also not solely for "tech bros" since other businesses and professionals outside of tech also use the space.If you are in the area and need fast internet, quiet rooms, and access to a nice main street for food/drinks, then I recommend stopping by.

We had a baby shower there. It was a perfect venue. Lovely inside with a fully functional kitchen. And an outside covered sitting area that was very nice

A wonderful little place hiding in downtown Denison. You can rent a desk, office or conference room for short or long periods. A great place to come if you have no office and need to have a professional meeting.
