I just went to this store yesterday. I had 2 items. The older gentleman that was on the register charged me 2 times for both items. I told him he charged me twice and he called his Manger to cancel out the extra items. The manager canceled out 1 item leaving 3 charged. Once again I notified the cashier about an extra charge. He assured me that it wasn't on there. He went ahead and charged me and I paid. Sure enough I look at my receipt to double check and there was 3 items charged. I told him he charged me twice for one of my items. He said in a rude tone, "Then go get it", telling me to go get the same product I had already purchased just so he wouldn't have to give me my money back on his mistake. I told him, "NO, I don't want the item I want my money back." The worker was frustrated and called his manager back. The manager came back and scanned one of my items as a return and gave me my money back. I'm glad I got my money back but the workers have poor customer service skills.

Only because I couldn’t go lower the a 1 star I’d give it a negative worst family dollar ever they should close it down the cashier rude first of all I am waiting that they haven’t given me my money back now he says I have to wait because there’s no one there he locked the doors this family dollar is a disaster by the behalf of 214 costume printing I don’t recommend this bad and useless store most of employees are gone hopefully the owner of this store can get things straight because this store needs a lot worst ever I’m so disappointed this store has to be americas worst store ever they should fire the tall guy the cashier !!!!!!!!!02/02/2024 2:42pm

Dawn at Masters and Bruton is so professional friendly about the business and my lifesaver. I left my whole identity from my wallet on the counter. I didn't realize until nearly 4hours later. She found it. Tucked it away for me. I returned and she said don't worry I found it. I mean everything. I pulled it all out to count change. Thank you Dawn!

Terrible customer service. Every time I come in employees are mad and frowning. Today I am at the store (mind you I am pregnant and due any day now) its hot and I get to the counter to pay for my items. As usual their prices are wrong and they will not give me the item for the price I saw so I told them to take the item off. This became a problem because I had already paid for some items on my card. So the manager did a refund for the items so I could buy them separately. ( mind you I'm hot and telling them that I feel like I'm about to pass out. He continued the transition and told me to sign a long form for the situation. I marked and x on the paper because the situation didn't not call for my phone number full name and address. He then said I couldn't get the items I needed until I signed the form because it was my fault I didn't have enough money. I politely took the things I paid for and left before I passed out. Terrible customer service.

A woman was tazed 8 times by employee also with her two children there and her mother in law the mother in law was also tazed trying to get to her grandchildren. mother in law was just released from hospital I've been in hospital on life support and told the employee as he was approaching her with a Taser she was not to the ground the grand children were screaming and crying we were able to get out of the store got a block away and we call the police department paramedics had to come out check every one of us. going to talk to investigators on Monday morning. I'm advising anyone not to go to the store it is a very dangerous...

People are always nice but the only thing i don't like is that even though there is more than 5 people working there the store is always very very cluttered and you can't even walk around the store you either have to go under things o you have to move boxes and things on your own to get to things
