New to the area we took our rescue bull terrier mix in to have her eye looked at.It was like walking into Dr.Steve Thorp's home clinic in Worland, Wyoming! I knew we found the right clinic to fit our pets needs! Thanks Dr. Beer for taking care of Zero and me my daily lesson in eye drops with steroids. I appreciate it! So does Zero Grace!

I wish I could give this Vet clinic and it’s staff more than 5 stars. The young lady at the front desk and the two guys working in back were amazing, very polite answered all my questions, even the stupid ones.Dr. Beer is very straight forward, does not do extra tests, very knowledgeable. Also, answered all my questions.Prices were amazing. I will definitely be using this clinic again and again

We just moved to the Cuero area and wanted to get one of our male dogs neutered walking in the receptionist was nice, but the doctor himself was extremely rude when my daughter was asking questions regarding her dog and the procedure she wouldn’t look at my daughter to answer her instead, he looked at the receptionist and answer the question Would then proceed to look at me and look at my boyfriend back-and-forth. I am Hispanic my boyfriend is white. I felt as if we were automatically judged. We don’t know any other local vets, so we had the procedure done when picking up our dog again the doctor was extremely rude when we asked if the dog needed a cone, he said, well I don’t want him chewing on it, so yes he might need one OK then why not send him home with one in my opinion Dr. beer is a very unprofessional doctor I would not recommend

Called this vet after hours to try and get my dog pepper in. My dog had been in a fight over a day ago and we had been trying to get her in anywhere but everywhere was booked. My dog Pepper got worse and developed fever and was very lethargic. This vet refused to meet me only because I mentioned I had called around to other places looking for help. Instead of helping me he went off and said your no customer of mine so I won’t be meeting you. I was literally crying on the phone and he couldn’t care a less what happened to my dog. I’ve never encountered such a disrespectful person as he was to me over the phone. Being from small town TX everyone is so friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. I wouldn’t trust this man with any of my pets.

Wife made an appointment to have cat spayed. That morning the wife took on a few scratches because the cat was reluctant to go into the carrier. When I got to the clinic, I was greeted by the receptionists and Mr. Beer. As the receptionists’ were asking me questions regarding the appointment I let them know that she was a tame stray that can be held and petted. Mr. Beer started to raise his voice over the receptionists asking me if she was feral because he would like to examine her. I told him that was all I know. I do not mess with her much. Pretty much yelling at me like I was a child. Thats not a great 7:30 am start, and I’m trying not to let one A**hole louse up the rest of my day. I’ll take my business elsewhere, but hopefully everyone else does to until the fella adjusts his attitude. I don’t care what prefix you have before your name, it doesn’t give you superiority over anyone. Especially if you treat others the way you treated me.

It was amazing. I walked there and found out it was the wrong vet, but they still gave me service. Vets name is literally Rob A. Beer, so he's great. My cat loved the place too, stopped meowing the moment she got inside. Overall amazing experience, and the vet did a good job telling me what to do and how.

Love this clinic, Dr beer is funny his crew has always been wonderful to work with. I do recommend if you decide to go here to bring cash or check they don't take cards but other than that it's affordable and great care for my pet and my mom's pets.

Dr Beer is a down to earth guy. He doesn't beat around the bush and talks straight, I really appreciate that in a doc. I wish his staff would have gotten more information from me regarding my knowledge on the procedure I needed to take care of. Other than that, I'll be using him now over the other vet office in town.

Called them because my pup had diarrhea for 2 days. Well I figured it was just her transitioning food. Then i saw blood in her stool so i called them right away. Dr. Beer was instantly rude saying we have been here all day. I didnt see the blood until right before i called and the man was just unprofessional and rude

I appreciate how this doctor didn't just throw medicine at my dog like some other vets. He patiently walked me through the symptoms, causes, and remedies. I felt better able to care for my pet thanks to the information and care we received at this office. I'm never visiting my local vet again, it's straight to Cuero from now on.

The Veterinarian spaded my cat, Lil' Bit. I had the option to purchase pain medication for her and was given instruction on her care. They did a great job. The staff was helpful and knowledgable. Thank y'all very much. The only thing is she is VERY needy now.

Our Bassett hound was bitten by a rattlesnake. Our vet is in Victoria, TX, so with Cuero being along the way we called this office to see if they would be able to care for our dog. The woman that answered the phone was short, rude and unprofessional. First thing out of her mouth was regarding money and the fact that we needed to be prepared to pay cash or check for any treatment. I totally understand the need to collect payment, but she was abrupt and rude and that seemed to be her main concern. I hung up and called the other vet in Cuero. Their 1st response was to bring him in immediately. They took us right in, stabilized him and sent us on our way to our vet in Victoria where the antivenom was available. They even told us to call them and make payment when we could, as they were busy in the front and didn't want to hold us up. When I called then to pay, they asked that we let them know how our dog was doing. Now, that's what you hope for when you have pets that are a part of your family. Sadly disappointed with this place from just one phone call.
