Ran in for a quick cake mix and some frosting for my nieces birthday cupcakes, got home made them and packed up for the party, the first person to eat one at the party almost spit it up it tasted so horrible, confused I threw the cupcakes away and checked the packages when I got home, the darn frosting expired in JANUARY, what the heck Brookshire?? No cupcakes for the party 🤢 big disappointment

Their deli fried chicken absolutely kicks the competition's butt. I will never go anywhere else in Cuero Texas for chicken ever again. It's cooked perfect and the pieces are big pieces of chicken.

Great location, good food at cafeteria, store stocked well with very helpful staff.Fried chicken lunch is one of the best in town. 2 pieces of chicken, 2sides, roll and drink @7.29. yummy.several week's ago I had my flu shot at the brookshire brothers pharmacy. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The shot was given discretely and didn't hurt. I had mild reaction to the shot.

If you've not shopped here, or you've given it a try, but haven't really been back... go! They have amazing deals every week, plus we got our live crawfish from here! They were amazing in size and quite a bit cheaper than the other spot... They even carried them out and brought a plastic sheet to put down just in case!

I have been at Deli twice, just oassing through. Food was great, with the exception on the enchiladas, not good, but everything else served was great. I like just walking through the store, seeing what they offer.

One review? The Chicken is good the manager was saying but it's, in fact, delicious. Beats out the restaurants. The chilis though? I can make authentic chili now and the cheese? I can do an authentic home made lasagna recipe. I was hoping to find the lard we used to use in our Greens but didn't find it at this spot! It's been a decade or so since we shopped at a BB very impressed. Very authentic south Texas inspired vegetable selection. What are finger bananas? Going to have to find out soon

Very nice selection of groceries and the food court in store is very nice. The BBQ was very dry and had no flavor, no smoke or spices. It nice to have some competition in Cuero among the grocery stores, HEB has been replacing national brands with HEB brands, so you either buy Hill Country Fare or another HEB brand. Not much choice at HEB anymore.

Very clean store! Very nice layout! Excellent selection of goods! ToGo food is a bit expensive, but not as expensive as their groceries! You're looking to spend about 20% more here than at Dollar General, HEB or Walmart. Would have been 5 stars if not for the significant price difference.

I was really disappointed at lunch today. I ordered 3 Chicken Fried steak plates. Thinking that they were made in house. They were frozen and cooked to order. I don't understand why. You'll have a meat market and fryers that you'll do fried chicken in. They could be so much better.

It's not bad. I just don't like change, but I will shop here again if I need to. But their store brand Cola is magnificent. It's the closest thing to real coke I've ever had that was generic.

It was ok. The prices are a little high. The employees who make the food orders don’t listen though. Thought it was gonna be more like safeway,I would gladly blow all my money there.

Selection & variety are good, store is laid out in an "easy to navigate" way, though they're a *little bit* smaller than an Albertson's or a Ralph's, or even the local HEB supermarket.

Prices are way higher than you will pay anywhere else and its slim pickins. Their meat and produce is always awful. The staff are friendly enough. Don't go if you don't have to.
