Recently acquired a membership to this store and it has been so far worth it! Me and the wife carefully shop here for whatever snacks or any groceries we need. Buying in bulk can sure add up to a lot of money spent. Don't allow yourself to shop too crazy here if you're all about that budgeting. It's best to shop with your phone out a lot of the time to see how much things are at other stores first and then determine if it's worth buying the bulk item. Anyway, the store is definitely a huge warehouse. The only thing holding it back from a star, is the slow as heck customer service help desk. They seem to have it understaffed severely. There's always one person taking care of the entire help desk. Either way, me and the wife love getting things here. We've gotten addicted to their croissants. Those are the bomb.

3 months ago I sign up with a AT&T agent at Sam’s club and they gave me a really good offer of phone on them, teacher discount for working for a university and just paying for the taxes without turning in my old phone. After signing in my first bill I got charge for phone, activation a several other fees when I call to get it fix they told me it was going to take up to three bills to get all the discounts set up and going and all the extra charges where going to come as discounts on the next bills, after the third bill no discount show and the payment where higher than what they offer me.Now they told me at AT&T that there is nothing they can’t do to fix or reimburse the money and at Sam’s they told me that they don’t have anything to do with those external agents that offer those services inside the store.Just please be careful with what they offer because it can come to be not true, if I would know the truth I wouldn’t join.

Overall this place is clean, well organized and pick up and shipping work well. The only real issue is that the cafe is a joke. Food takes 30+ min to get and a few of the workers are nice but there's one lady who's always really rude and slow.

Incredibly rude customer service rep I talked to on the phone on April 21st at 1109. Simply asked a question about a product she said idk then hung up. Place also smells like cheetahs

Sam's Club is my go-to for one-stop shopping. The variety and value they offer are unbeatable. From groceries to electronics, I find everything I need here. Plus, their bulk savings make it easy to stock up. The membership is definitely worth it for the deals and convenience. Love shopping at Sam's!

Why is Sam's Club always so freaking dirty. We got here at 6:45pm ish . They have enough employees standing around. Come clean up and especially the freaking food area #dobetterUpdate:My friend was standing in line for 35 mins to get a slice of pizza, hotdog, yogurt and drinks. 35 freaking mins! I am disabled and was saving us a table which I had to clean. It had hard dry ketchup , mustard , spilled soda and trash around it Even though a few tables were open, I couldn't go to another one because they are to close together & my walker gets in the way. Besides they were just as bad on the cleanliness🤦🏻♀️.... It's 7:30 when she finally gets to the counter...sorry we ran out of pizza . Not only that they ran out of vanilla yogurt AND all three soda machines without ice and sticky. One machine was off .. I think but there wasn't a note or anything posted 😡 .... Why the heck didn't one of the employees (I counted 5 ) btw the employees at Sam's never look like they are happy or want to be there . N-E-Ways I counted 5 employees in the cafe area maybe just maybe the employees at Sam's can have a little respect and give the customers that they see standing in line BEFORE they "run out" a heads up. While I was waiting for mama j , I ended up cleaning up a couple of busted ketchup packets on the ground because 3 employees saw it , walked by & didn't come back to clean it. So I did . I didn't want anyone or myself slipping and falling .Then they close at 8pm . That whole time we could have been getting our stuff instead of having to be rushed while trying to shop .🤦🏻♀️ Such a disappointment. Sam's Club is no where near how nice it used to be.

I'm very disappointed with this Sam's here in corpus Christi tx due to the fact that I brought a load and checked in at 4am and the checking in was quick and had an 8am appointment and it's 9:30am and I'm still here went inside to ask wth is going on and the receiving guy said that they didn't have room to get my load of so now I missed my other appointment to pick up due to this people that don't wanna do nothing now we drivers get stuck here with the load on our trailers due to there laziness not doing there job inside and clearing the inside docks for drivers to just get here and unload I'm fixing to call corporate and inform them about this place.......Never coming here again

Brian the manager is incredibly RUDE!!! He is rude to employees in front of customers and bigger than anything RUDE TO CUSTOMERS! You can tell Sam’s Club is owned by Walmart because it’s just as trashy. Short staffed but at least the rest of the staff have customer service skills! Has Brian had any kind of customer service training or education in retail? I’m leaving this review after multiple encounters of his inappropriate behavior. Too bad Corpus doesn’t have a Costco, Sam’s would be out of business. If I could leave ZERO stars I would, except the other employees do not deserve to suffer due to a completely incompetent manager with poor people skills.

Went sams today a short little guy was asking for our membership card. Never ask for it. He told me I had to show him my card or he was going to report me to the manager. I did not know I work for sams. He was rude and sarcastic. He said was that so hard. Bad customer service. Bad customer service.

Love Sams and its products.UPDATES: 04-21-2024- AGAIN there were people IN A BIG GROUP in your PRIVATE PARKING LOT GETTING CLOSE TO US asking in a different language that we cannot understand, my husband cannot walk well, AND WE GOT SCARED AS THIS IS A GROUP OF PEOPLE. WE NEED MORE SECURITY/PROTECTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. HAVE GUARDS IN THE EXITS AND PARKING LOTS.PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!Please I am trying to get a hold of Security at Sam’s.Yesterday we got people asking for money in the way in and out of Sam’s Club, this has been an ongoing situation in the parking lot. IS NOT THE FIRST TIME.Please install more cameras, not the first time and is getting uncomfortable to shop.

I pull into sam's club seven p m on february 26 to get gas. Temperatures cool in the wind's blowing hard so I start the gas pump, put it on auto pump, where you click the little trigger on the handle, and proceed to get back in the truck with the door partially open. Im in the driver's seat looking over my my right shoulder watching the pump not the pump handle. I hear a horn honking and Im looking around when I hear banging on the back of my truck. The man in the car behind me got out and banged on my truck to let me know what was going on. I step out of the truck and the gasoline is shooting out of my tank like a fire hydrant because the auto lock didn't kick off when the tank was full.. I shut the gas pump off and I see the employee sitting on his butt in his little building leaning back like he's in a reclining chair watching TV. I must have pumped at least two or three gallons on the ground. He waits until I pull out before I even see him come out of his little building to put cones out on the concrete where it was flooded with a pool of fuel.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The sunrise was magical this morning, the colors seem so much brighter on crisp mornings. Was a great morning, but I don't know how or why it's attached to Sam's. Lol I have always spent more than I intended to there, because they have everything I think I have to have.

I was very impressed with the snack bar and the people working there. I needed help with my order because I had my 3yr old grandson just yelling and wanted something to eat lol. So the staff were very patient and assisted me with respect and a smile. My grandson dropped his hot dog bun and they gave me a new bun with out any question. I give high praise to the workers and the place was very clean also.i give 6 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

10/2023 update: I find myself only going to Sam's for bulk items, where they yield the most cost/benefit return. Large packs of paper products, laundry detergent, and meats.Edit: your experience may vary, but it turns out local store staff were wrong, and in-store pricing was the same as the "online only" advertisements. The tags were wrong, but it rung-up with the discount. I've upgraded my review from 3 to 4 stars.Original 8/2020: If you went into any store and their online advertised specials were not valid in the store, how would that make you feel? And they must get asked this a lot because they have their speech about "we don't price match" very well rehearsed. How many retailers can get by with this? The online discount for a couple of TV's (free shipping) was 15-20% off in-store price. Yeah you can get the instant gratification of taking it home today for $200 more, or wait 5-7 days for free shipping. This is a *warehouse* store - the TV's are sitting on pallets in original packaging from the manufacturers. For $200 less, I'll wait. Actually, I'm shopping around more so Sam's may lose this sale altogether. This was my first time in Sam's in 20 years. Reminds me of why I stopped going ages ago. What's your Sam's story?

Sept 2023 Tuesday afternoon. Negative 1 stars.I took my brother, a local resident and member, inside to order a new pair of glasses. As he is handicapped and walker-bound (not in a wheelchair) - it was quite fortunate that the optometry department was just barely inside the entrance. How convenient, right?$560 for the glasses - yikes! That said, the ladies who assisted my brother were most helpful and friendly.We then headed out the door we came in, about 20 feet away. The Sam's entry guard would absolutely not allow our passage back out. Even after considering my brother's walking challenge. Nope.He directed us to go around the displays and into the main checking area and then back out the regular exit - approximately an extra fifty yards. After about five minutes of walker shuffling, we arrived outside the store, right next to the door we entered (next to the optometry department).I told my brother that the lack of concern and consideration by Sam's Club has earned them a negative review. However, since a negative rating is not possible, Sam's has been elevated to a '1'.

I went to tire center and one of the associates saw me waiting and didn't even acknowledge me. Then when I proceeded to ask how long it would take to repair a nail in a tire. He replied " the rest of the day, its 145pm. So it will take 4.15hrs to remove a screw. He didn't even check the computer, log book or check with someone else. I feel that he's customer service was subpar at best. I work for walmart and if there's a question of that nature. He should have tried to provide an accurate estimate. Four (4) hours is unacceptable. I would've waited maybe two (2), because it's a safety issue. My son and I drove from San Antonio to visit my parents at the navel base. In my opinion it could have been handle differently.

I loved shopping at Sam's, they always have a great selection except today as I went the front person asked only for my membership while I walked in with another customer. I didn't get why he only asked me, but he said he has to ask everyone and I get it, it might be protocol but he didn't ask any other person that I saw. As I was leaving I could see people walking in with out him questioning or asking to verify, which was proving my point that he didn't ask everybody. If he would've said like thank you or anything being polite after it, it would've been fine but being rude about it was what made me upset. Rude employees👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Besides them never answer the phone when you come up there I just go to Sam's eat at there cafeteria Pizza is really good hot dog just don't go during the weekends cuz it is so busy you can't find a place to sit and eat.

There are only a couple of docks. You may have to wait if someone is already being unloaded. I had to leave my keys inside; All in all the people took their time and made sure there were no overages, shortages, and damaged items.

This is just some of the features at your local Sam's club! Blocked fire exits! Frozen "Never frozen" chicken! Long lines just to get in by requiring everyone to show their membership cards! Oh and plan your visit because more likely than not they will be out of stock of whatever it is you urgently need!Oh and if you're hungry, be ready to wait in the slowest cafe line in the west! Seriously, it can take up to 15 minutes just to get a slice of pizza and a drink.

Unbelievable, first one in the door to unload a 5am app another driver checked in,his appt 6:30am now 7:30 am he’s out the door… I’m still here,supposably there short handed but at least I’m going home for the holidays had enough with Spots like this 😮💨🙏

I was disappointed. There is a sign in front of the store that says face masks required for all members and associates in order to enter the store. Also that nose and mouth must be covered at all times. I was like, yes. Well nearly half the people in the store did not have a mask on. When I asked an associate about it., she said no that's not true. I asked her why the sign in front of the store if it's not going to be followed. She appeared to be getting upset as her face turned red. She then stated that it's not true because of the govenor saying no mask mandate.
