George and Eli made taking the plunge into saltwater fish keeping extremely easy and stress free. Their knowledgeable staff is there to help you pick out the proper livestock for your tank. They didn’t have to, but they honored a sale price a day after to help get my tank set up. They also have convenient methods of getting RO/DI water and premixed saltwater to your tank at home! If that wasn’t enough, they also have maintenance services where you can have someone come take care of your tank for you!I can honestly say I’ve been impressed from the get-go, and will highly recommend Salty AF to anyone who even mentions a saltwater fish tank!

Google and the front door says open at 11am for Mondays. This has happened to me a few times coming here. I gave 3 stars because when they’re open the customer experience is great. Other than that they need to honor the store hours posted.

I had never been in the store but decided to stop by on my way home one day and was really impressed with the offerings. I ended up buying a Red Sea Peninsula from Eli and it came in today. Eli and his crew got the cabinet put together and set up in my home and the aquarium looks great! They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would recommend that anybody in the market go check them out

Outstanding customer service! Store manager is really helpful and knowledgeable willing to discuss issues with your tank and provide feed back for a possible solution. They have all the popular products in stock. And a great selection in fish and corals definitely visiting again!

The Guys here at salty af are amazing I went in having trouble with my 40 gallon and they have answered every possible question I’ve had in store, and over the phone. No question is dumb or irrelevant to them. Eli and his guys are just the sweetest people you could meet, they make you feel so welcomed when you walk inside the store, they inform you, not delude you in anyway. I feel like if you’re having problem with your tank these are the guys to go to! Juan did an amazing job at cleaning our tank when it was filthy and Lee can answer any question you have. They helped me have the knowledge about over feeding and under feeding my little guys. They all just have amazing customer service makes you feel good walking into Eli’s store! You need help with your tank this is definitely the place to go! Thanks again salty team!!

Went in with some questions on algae that was growing in my saltwater tank. Was talking with the owner and he was giving me information that was very helpful! I had gotten rocks from another saltwater fish place in corpus and had told him what they told me and basically told me they were just trying to make a sale off of me and didn't give me all information to properly care for my tank. I will now be doing ALL business through them! Super helpful and very kind!

To be honest, I was hesitant to visit the story because I had been told that the product was overpriced. I am glad I ignored those comments because I had the BEST experience there! The prices are way lower than other aquarium stores in the area. What was even better is Lee spent about 30-45 minutes talking to me about different corals, how to maintain them, and specific species that would thrive in my tank. He took the time to show me how to feed coral. I was VERY, VERY happy with my experience! This is now the only saltwater fish shop that I will visit!

Hey you guys I just want to give a huge shout out to this establishment. They’re super cool really nice they’ve got lots of fish corals salt water very knowledgeable and extremely great customer service unlike some other aquarium fish stores in this city not to name publicly but yeah??? This is an amazing location! They have everything you need, tanks, rocks, chemicals and of course fish and corals! The manager Lee, was super helpful and informative! We’re just starting out in the saltwater hobby and he gave us lots of helpful information! I high recommend this place to anybody just starting out, and I’ll be definitely coming back!

The lady at the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. They also sell schooling fish in no less than 2 at a time so they know what they are doing. Will definitely continue to go here. They also sell brine shrimp

Awesome store with knowledgeable employees and an amazing selection of corals and saltwater fish. They will not only help you stock your tank but help you to maintain your tank with the correct parameters so your fish and corals stay alive and healthy. Great selection of lights and new tanks for beginners or even people who want to upgrade. Would recommend to anyone looking to start a new tank or maintain and stock the tank you have.

We absolutely loved this store! Just went today for the first time after our friend told us great things and we were very impressed! They are very knowledgeable about fish and reefs! Prices aren't ridiculously high and friendly staff! I definitely recommend them!

Multiple issues with the systems they have running. They have dying and diseased fish in their systems. All of their coral are overpriced. They are strictly set up to make money and take the bare minimum approach to accomplish this. The staff seems to be comprised of people who are new to the hobby and have very limited experience. The owner is a joke and the only reason I am giving one star is that they have set the space up well, if only they would use it properly. I would only purchase dry goods from them as a last resort as they are all marked up.Obviously the store owner doesn’t care what people think as any bad review is just written off as fake. How pathetic.

Update Jan. 1, 2022. When it comes to saltwater fish, coral, water and lighting, Salty Aquatics is undoubtedly the best. Great lighting support. Once you get the water and lighting figured out, the rest is easy. Respect the hobby, learn from the pros and you will advance quicker. Enjoy.Great customer phone support and advice even during holiday weekends. Experienced in all levels of saltwater fish, invertebrates, coral, feeding, dosing and supplies.

The best fish place here in corpus honestly they have the most excellent customer service Eli and Mari and Maki and of course George are then nicest people and they make you feel at home and are always very helpful. We recently purchased a 90 gallon and they went out there way to come to our house and set up the tank and carry it in to our home. The most exotic coral and fish and affordable. Highly recommend if you have a saltwater fish tank.

We are first time fish people and we went in to ask some questions. They were very helpful with great suggestions with very knowledgeable input. We ended up leaving with six freshwater fish, a water testing kit, and a net. It was so pretty and their tanks were very well put together. We had a very good experience!

Awesome store with amazing stock. The owner was a great guy and a pleasure to talk to. I bought a whole tank setup while I was there and was able to get everything I needed in one spot. I will definitely be back when it’s time to start getting livestock for it.

Have a bunch of stuff for beginners as well as some rare and exotic for experienced collectors.New facility allowed for expansion. They are fair with fish, coral, and equipment prices. They make more consistent revenue on using their expertise for installations and maintenance contracts.

I'm from Houston and just moved to corpus. I was looking for a new lfs and I have found one. It is a one stop shop for all your reefing needs. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. High quality fish and coral even has a small freshwater section but it is all good. He will also order in whatever you are looking for just call or ask in person. I highly recommend this story. (I bought a hammer coral, a tailspot blenny and some fish food.)
