Stopped for gas and breakfast on our way home from vacation. Easy to get in and out of. We were hauling a camper and there was plenty of room for us to park. Restroom was clean. They cooked our breakfast fresh including tortillas. It was delicious! We will definitely stop again when in the area.

Purchased a chicken fajita burrito that was in the warmer. The “salsa” bar had no napkins or containers. The chicken was so tough and old, I could not eat it.

This store is great. They have a great inventory of things you need. Always clean and well organized. The folks who work there are friendly and prompt. I enjoy going to this Stripes.

Sad visited this afternoon. While in the restroom people started yelling in the store. I was not sure if there was a robbery or what. I called my husband and texted my husband who was in the parking lot. When things got quite after a long time. I walked out. There were 2 employees working and 2 customers walking the other direction. I asked the man employee at the fountain area if everything was alright. He ignored my question and walked away. I asked the dark haired woman employee if everything was ok. She ignored me, as well. I walked outside immediately. A blond employee was on the phone. By the door. I asked her if everything was okay. She looked concerned, she stopped talking to her caller. I explained what I heard and saw and that the employees inside ignored me. She apologized. I let her know I was in the restroom waiting for my husband to come from the parking lot. Since he did not come, I was not sure if he was okay. When I got to the vehicle there was only 1 pickup at the fuel area. We discussed the situation must have been a disgruntle between the employees.

My favorite corner store in a Comanche! Cameron is the best employee IMO. All of the employees are good but he’s awesome! They sell beer and wine. The breakfast burritos are sooo good with homemade tortillas and fresh salsa bar. Clean restrooms/decent prices/good tobacco selection. Easy in and out with a huge gas lot with 4 entrances/exits. Diesel pumps separate for 18 wheelers. And diesel for regular autos at the regular pumps. Air and water, propane exchange, and a red box outside. A great corner store!

Your location in Comanche, TX is falsely advertising their CASH PRICE for diesel, $3.35 9/gal, on the signs flashing cash/card. Went in to pre-pay CASH TO GET THE ADVERTISED CASH PRICE but when all done was charged $3.79 9/gal! Asked why and was told that there is a glitch in the sign and it was for gift cards??? Was also told that they could not be change or turn it off. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY GIFT CARD! The signs say CASH PRICE IS $3.35 9. The young man and lady were very nice and did offer to give us the difference, however, we declined and will not ever return to this store, nor recommend it. This store is higher than ANY other on fuel.

I confirm previous reviews. Quantity in your receipt does not match the quantity reading of the fuel pump. The cashier said that the computer was not working properly. I think they are just cheating customers. In my case, the cost of refueling was $92 higher than it should be. Be careful, the price according to the fuel card does not correspond to reality.

Only stopped to get gas, some bottled water, and use the restrooms. The men's room was very dirty - trash needed emptying, floor needed mopping, toilets needed cleaning, counters needed wiping. My wife said the women's room was disgusting. I told the assistant manager as I was leaving that the men's room needed attention, and he rolled his eyes. I won't be stopping here again.

Do not eat here, worst tacos ever, usually Laredo Taco is good, but this place sucks. Brain donor behind the counter gave us half the order then got mad because he couldn’t read his own hand writing, and the other old bitty back there had no interest in helping anyone. I think they were coming down on some kind of drugs and needed another dose. I literally spit out my food and regretted not making myself puke all day, and my wife is in the bathroom now and it don’t sound good.

I travel for my job and Comanche is usually the halfway point between Huntsville and Abilene or in this case Brownfield, Texas. As myself and my coworker normally do, we stopped at the stripes to use the restroom and get something to eat or drink. On Wednesday,March 28, between 12:15 and 12:30pm, we stopped for those reasons. I ordered from the young lady that was serving plates a fish taco plate as I have not had them before (and still haven't). Due to not being tall she could not quite reach the fish tacos with the spatula that was present, so she reach forward pull the whole pan of tacos closer to her so that she could reach them. Instead of using the spatula that was in the pan this entire time, she started taking the tacos out of the pan and putting them on my styrofoam plate by hand. I told her I did not want to eat those if she was going to take them out of the pan with her hand and put them on the plate but she continued anyway. After putting the tacos on the plate she asked me what else I wanted, I told her I did not want the food. I did however talk to the general manager Miss Kay at which time she told me that they are allowed to touch the food if they have gloves on. I explained to Miss Kay I was not complaining that the server went to the back throwing away some dirty towels came back and didn't change her gloves however, I was complaining that she touch my food with those same dirty gloves. Miss Kay tried to explain to me again that they are allowed to touch food even with the gloves. I told her that this is what I do as part of my job which is to inspect kitchens. Instead of actually handling the situation, Miss Kay nonchalantly told the employee to use the utensils if that's what the customers want. It at was disrespectful that she did not try to fix the situation. I would have been happy to purchase the food if she would have retrained the employee on food handling and then had her get me some more tacos after washing her hands, changing her gloves, and using the spatula or even some tongs if she's having a problem reaching the food but she did not Miss Kay was very dismissive about the entire situation. I'm very unsatisfied with the way I was treated. I will be finding a new halfway stop as I was treated unfairly and I have to assume that there are other Sanitation and food handling issues in this kitchen. And yes, those same four tacos were put back on the line by hand to be served to the next customer. Must not be trained in ServSafe.

This location has really been doing a good job here lately. we have gotten tacos and other stuff there lately and it has all been good the bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. the gas and the food is expensive at all stripes but we'll just have to live with that.

Went to the store to puchase coffee price said 159 got to the register scanned 169 ask the cashier why did it register 169 she said she would change the price. Went there this morning stiil same price and also tried to buy a breakfast taco called. Grand tocino she said she didnt have any bacon strips it wouldn't be bebe the same

I didn’t have need to use the toilet so I didn’t bother to check it out but the sink was pretty clean, soap dispenser was serviced, paper towel was available too, food area was clean, prices good, coffee excellent, I tried an egg steak burrito which was good too, employees were polite but the best treatment came from a blonde skinny girl, she was amazing to me, she helped me with my order even when she was not directly attending me, the girl attending had a hard time understanding my ugly English but the awesome skinny lady served me as interpreter and passed on to the other lady my entire order, Stripes # 2422 is blessed to have such a awesome server, keep on the good work ( I was served at this place on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 8:55 am according to my receipt)

I just stopped at this store I was very disappointed bathrooms dirty and I asked if they have a ice cup they said any size is fine but wanted to charge me $1.94 the same price as if I filled it with soda that's ridiculous and so wrong it's freaking ice that's no way to treat ur customers I usually stop here but never again the manager sat right there and said nothing that's sad to me then I went down to the sonic they only charged me .42 for a large cup of ice

A bad Stripes to stop at if you're hungry... their tacos are expensive, and they don't put much on them at all.. I've bought them here four times already, hoping for someone to make them better, but it's been the same each time.
