Dr. Abbey is the after hours vet that answers the phone. We had an after hours emergency and couldn’t find ANY vets local to us (Brownwood) and someone suggested to call here. He was so KIND, and helpful! It’s always nerve wrecking calling a dr after hours because it can be frustrating, understandably. He was caring and answered all our questions. We will be seeking our animal care from this location from here on out.

My little guy stepped on a red wasp and his foot swelled to an alarming size in a few minutes. They fit me in immediately, gave him a steroid / antibiotic shot. He was much better within an hour or less. He slept most of the day but did well. I am really grateful they were able to see him so quickly and provide relief. He is a little guy. Those red wasps hurt!

We love this veterinary clinic! We live between an hour and an hour and a half away but the drive is very much worth it to have this vet and staff. Our three cats are fortunate to have a top notch place! 😺😸😻

Comanche County Vet is the only place I will take my animals. They are reasonable and understanding. The vet is honest and realistic while also being conscious of the love we have for our pets. I can tell he has a love for his job and all of the animals that come through. We had to put down my dog of 12 years whom we had with him for the past several years, and he made the process so peaceful. My old man was never even scared. All our babies go here.

Made an emergency appointment on a Sunday afternoon for a kitten with some life threatening injuries. The vet amputated a hind leg and saved her life. These guys are real heroes!

Major SHOUT -OUT to COMANCHE COUNTY VETERINARY Clinic for saving my puppy Herschzel's life! They were so helpful, informative, thorough, patient wth my requesting updates... They were COMPASSIONATE and CARING wth my pup ..and me of course . They helped me take it a day at a time and we're honest regarding the well- being and decisions we had to make wth moving forward wth the treatments needed to save Herschzel's life. He's def. alive and thriving better than ever!!!Life wouldn't be the same for myself or Bob, Herschzel's Big Brother and his Bestie, without him! Thank you CCV for BEING THE BLESSING!!

I have Spent so much money here, on my 2 cats and my 3 dogs and traveled 2 hours because of it was recommend. They not only forget to administer the medication to my dogs, but when I asked them if they could mail it to me, the had the audacity to ask that I pay for shipping. Never again.

Nice veterinarian from Brownwood Texas actually may Texas we have to go all the way to Comanche for good service awesome prices for a little loved ones a little pets it's a shame that we have to go all the way to Comanche Texas because the price is here in Brownwood are too expensive because they've been here for years and that ridiculous because they've been here for years the prices are sky high but it's okay we'll travel with a little loved ones all the way to Comanche so they can be served.

Great people ! We adopted a dog and was told the only big issue was heart worms by the rescue's vet. We found out that she has lung and spinal issues among other issues thanks to Dr. Fishback. He saved my Bella !

Truly cares about/for animals and caring to the owners when their pets have to be put down. Very gentle. Doesn’t take advantage of owners or animals. Best vet I’ve been too in 11 years! Will not go anywhere else!!! ♥️
