The store is always clean with lots of products to choose from. The displays are always nicely put together. Employees are usually welcoming. It is nice to find products with the buy get one for 1 penny. It is the only grocery store in the area

*update 4/2024 - seems that there is a miss with ordering items on sale. Drove to town solely for their brisket and was told none was ordered for the sale. When I asked a manager for a raincheck, was told they don't do that.---It's pretty much the only store in Comanche to get everything we need. There are a couple staples that we have to go to Stephenville or Brownwood for but most of what we need is here, although they seem to run out of some standard items. I will have to say, some items are ridiculously overpriced, where the "sales" are through coupons that you have to add on your phone app, or you don't save. This is of course assuming the app works that day. Bag of chips is $6+ but with a coupon it's half. Pretty silly if you ask me. Meat is really high priced, unless you get the buy one, get one or if they have a huge sale. The place is clean and the staff is nice. Produce is almost always really great quality. It's all about the sales though. This economy is putting the screws to us. I'd just like to see some prices reflect what stores in the bigger cities look like. Overall they still get a four. (Now a three) Oh and the guys back in the meat market have done me some great service with some cuts and special requests. They are a great group of guys to be sure. Wish the management decision from the store level reflected their customer service efforts.

As the only grocery in Comanche, they do fair job of having a selection you might want. They are friendly, and they actually sack your groceries as well escort you to the car.They have limitations, partly space and partly they just don't carry a vast variations.

Brookshires is good for a quick stop. Not great on pricing unless you shop the sales. Always get great customer service there!

Today, Fri, 2.1.24 - seems they don't carry the Fage yogurt any more. Was excited after moving here that i could find it in a small town. Also, they didn't receive in any more A2 whole milk this week. Very disappointed.

Produce quality has declined terribly over the last few years. Prices are much higher but convenience of not traveling to Brownwood or Stephenville is priceless. The deli chicken salad is amazing!

This store is nice and clean and the produce is beautiful. I have not met a staff member who was not friendly and helpful. The prices are astronomical, in my opinion. To pay upward of $1.50 for store brand canned corn blew my mind. Almost $5 for chips ahoy mini cookies has me beside myself...I had to laugh when I saw the sign on the cart return rack outside that said..."To help keep our prices LOW, please return your cart... blah blah. "Really? I am considering making a trip once a month to Brownwood to fully stock my pantry and fridge so I don't have to pay these prices.

They've expanded the store and there is a lot more stuff now in all areas. Although they had to go up instead of out, so top shelf items could be hard to reach. Pharmacy is now Walgreens so no more points through Brookshires for those. Lots of coffee and petfood options.

This grocery store used to be absolutely my FAVORITE. I had others getting my groceries for about a yr or longer. Went in and this place was self check out,and the other lanes had maybe 3 ft of space for groceries. I had a basket overflowing and the bottom was overflowing as well. It took 2 baskets for the young man bagging. So,NO I WASN'T PLEASED AT ALL. WHEN FOLKS CAN'T SEE WHAT THE PRICE IS PER ITEM THAT'S NOT A GOOD SIGN. So,I will continue to do business with them bc they do have quality food and I do like the atmosphere. It is a clean well kept store. However,I will not let them scan anything until I tell them,so I can be certain what I'm paying is correct. This is something I will start doing at every STORE I SPEND MONEY. IF I'M SPENDING 500.00 OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON GROCERIES YOU CAN LIKE IT or I WILL GO ELSEWHERE. I DON'T REC'V A W2 FOR CHECKING MYSELF OUT EITHER. If that is an issue I will put 1 item at a time on the belt and pay for one item at a time,IDC. Come on Brookshire's you all are soooo much better. It doesn't do anything for us elders. That is what the BEAUTY of this store was...NO LONGER IS THAT TRUE. Tim,Gloria,and Bobby were the only faces I even knew. Of course it's always a pleasure to see Tim and Gloria bc they absolutely KNOW THEIR JOBS AND WHERE YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING,THEY ARE TRULY A BLESSING FOR THIS STORE. THEY WILL GO LOOK IN THE BACK FOR YOUR NEEDS. Can't blame the employees for BROOKSHIRE'S ACTIONS. Edited it bc it was almost $500.00 not a two digit sale.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Stopped in after a softball game just to check them out and will definitely be making to drive back to shop with them! The meat market manager was stocking meat and actually went out of his was to talk to me and tell me of a huge sale that I wasn't aware of!

This store was AMAZING. Super duper clean, shelves were very organized. Employees were smiling and happy seeming and greeted you as you walked by. This is like the ideal store in my opinion.

I've been using the curbside service and I have to say I'm very pleased with it. The workers are very professional and do a fantastic job of picking out the best items for me. When I order produce they always get the best for me. I really am impressed with the service they provide. If you've ever thought about using this service I would highly recommend it

This has been THE grocery store for our town for at least 30 years. Clean and neat, they are always trying to improve the store and the way their customers are treated. The Bakery is my favorite...cakes can be special ordered and they taste better than most homemade ones. The managers are out among the customers making sure things are going as they should.

Had a really good experience. The store was clean well stocked. The workers were kind and courteous I ran across the manager of the store several times and was very impressed with the way she handled the store. I'm actually from out of town I am a registered nurse and even I would consider working for her.

So the egg sign said to scan the coupon to get the advertised price of $1.97. I did that but 2 cashiers had no idea how to use the scanned coupons. Are all the sales at Brookshires that confusing????

Great Prices, friendly employees! They even have people who OFFER carry your groceries out to your car! Now, if THAT isn't customer service, I don't what is! They even insisted to carry my pregnant fiancee's groceries out even when she said she didn't need help. Definitely going to keep coming here for all my grocery needs!
