I have been most impressed with this company! First I had a whitetail deer mount done, then I bought a lazier engraved axis hide that I truly love and my husband bought me a knife for Christmas and I had it lazier engraved. And they did a beautiful job. I was not disappointed!!! It is amazing!!! Thank you folks at Hill Country Hides for your beautiful work!

This is an amazing place for any of your taxidermy and gun needs!We went up for a church group retreat and saw this place as we were in Camp Wood getting groceries. But it soon became one of our favorite moments on our whole trip!We stopped by and got to meet Lucky, the friendliest guard dog ever! The assortment of weapons was amazing, from a 50-year commemorative World War I 1911 Pistol, to a crossbow, an AR15, and even an assortment of different swords! Truly an amazing place to go!We as a church group got to pray for Jeff (the owner) and his family, then, as a thank you for our visit, he gave us a momento that is truly one of the most amazing things we’ve ever seen.Overall, this place was one of our favorite stops on our trip, if you ever find yourself in Camp Wood, you’ve got to stop by! 5/5 stars!

This place was great, Jeff was super nice and helpful we just stumbled across his shop during our leaders retreat and loved it . Would definitely make the 5 hour drive back to this place for future purchases!!

These folks bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. They opened up late for me to drop off my animal after an evening hunt. Had the 3d mount back in less than a year (which is pretty good for a busy shop).

What a great gem to find in a small town, the owners were outstanding and their gun supply was pretty good and the taxonomy was so beautiful. For sure have to come back!
