I like tractor supply but there have been multiple times when I've come to get my propane refilled and they did not have a staff member " certified" to fill them so kept me waiting and then turned me away. If you don't have the staff, then reduce the hours and take the propane sign down! Better yet, make sure you're managers are certified so they can fill in.

Allen was the most helpful employee I've ever encountered. Very knowledgeable and gave great advice on cost effective corralling. Even helped us load gates onto the truck with a broken wrist! And found us an oversize load flag to keep us out of trouble!

The cashier at the Caldwell store is very unknowledgeable about the products you carry. He told me that you didn’t carry an item that I asked for by name. I went and found the item i wanted and told him I found it and then he was extremely rude about it. The manager Jose has an attitude problem as well. Obviously he didn’t learn in his management training that you don’t tell a customer that you agree to disagree and that if the cashier is disrespectful he can’t control that. Obviously Jose has a problem holding his employees accountable. Jose also told me that he can’t expect his employees to know what you sell. Obviously Jose has no intentions on training your employees on what you sell. Ill take my business elsewhere, where the staff is knowledgeable and management wants my business.

As always this Store is a friendly visit with helpful employees who are willing to go the extra to be sure you have been taken care of. My favorite redhead cashier was working today and when I went to check out I was $0.31 cents short. Rather than having to break a twenty for 31 cents, she pulled it out of her apron and paid it for me. How many times have you had that done for you? I am a TAC junkie hand's down.

I have been in the Customer Service & Management field for 25+ years. I trained for some large companies in the Dallas Fort Worth area I am letting you know that I have much experience in this area. We love shopping at the Tractor Supply store. Now, with saying this, I will comment on our experiences. First, your employees at the checkout are wonderful. Great customer service techniques. The first and last CS given to the customer can make or break a business. The longer a customer remains in your business, the more chances of increase sales. Where I see improvement is on the floor. Employees on the floor need to understand that they are in sales even though are are stocking shelves. Eye contact with the customer in the store needs some improvement. ALL employees must give eye contact and a smile. Greetings should be applied at 7 feet. Employees need to know all merchandise. Keep at least 1 employee on the floor to assist your customers . I have watched some customers become frustrated because they could not find an item. For the purpose of sales, employees need to be aware of sale floor, and all customers have a question mark above their head. I could go on, but I'm sure you have other emails to read. Never shop here especially if youre using cash! Paid with a 100 dollar bill to be 20 short on the change and when I confronted them about it they count their register to come up only 8 dollars over . Why is it over at all if they supposedly given everyone their right change back . And then turned me away without any solution to the problem. A bunch of scammers!!

Propane is always out or personnel don’t feel like going to fill bottles.During an well publicized Arctic cold front they choose to take their propane out of service to move it and do not stock up on new filled cylinders to accommodate customers!They just refer you elsewhere.Purchased Two electric heaters off the shelf both of which have problems.One is missing legs and pops the gfci when on high and the other fails to oscillate as advertised both apparently returns placed back onto shelf without examination!Thanks Caldwell tractor supply!

I went to buy a riding mower yesterday! The 42 in Huska in the front of tractor supply in CAldwell for $1099.99. Good Price, until we got ready to load it up. The mower wouldn't start. They changed out the battery and it still wouldn't start. Needless to say, I had to go back in the store to do a return. Kinda of scary having something for sale and it don't work.
