Renovated from the outside and inside now. I like how it is easy to find what you are looking for. Isle markers are big and clear to read. The layout is nice. There are a lot of self check out isles. Some with more space for your items than others. I like the way they display things now. For example, bedding, or baby stuff, even mannequins dressed up. The bad thing is you see a lot of workers on cell phones with their heads down. If they'd come up for air, customer service would be a bit better. Walking around, you do see items people have eaten and left on random areas of the store. I'm not sure if that is from Hungry shoppers or employees. But that looks bad as well. For the most part, it is nicer in our Bay City Walmart.

Had a Black & Decker 3 in 1 vacuum on clearance for $15. Got to self checkout and it wouldn't scan. An employee at self checkout tried scanning it a few times, then I was told they couldn't sell it because it has been recalled. Why even put it out for customers if it's been recalled. They are still selling it on their website.

I ordered something online Tuesday it said I had till Saturday to pick it up I came to the store Wednesday no one can help me pick it up the website is having technical difficulties and everybody is ignoring me and or being rude I’ve been waiting 20 The item again but it’s out of stock so I hope someone comes soon because I have an appointment… OK finally someone came to help me and I guess she said they’re discontinuing the pick up service I’m not really sure. I called the 979 number and it went to voicemail the courtesy desk and help me the people at the front can help me it’s very frustrating I pray that the one I ordered yesterday is in stock since it’s out of stock today on their website

Now remodeled and slightly improved (it was fine before), it is the local go-to store for much/most things we need. Generally friendly and helpful staff, and everything else that defines Walmart in a positive sense.

Today May 4,2024 was a bit hectic because everyone was shopping for Cinco De Mayo holiday celebration. But all in all we managed without to much delay. Only at the check out where the boy cashier was at the next lane fraternizing with a friend who was checking out at another register and ignoring the fact we were standing there waiting him to return to his station at checkout.

How is it possible that I can’t buy a product that is in your inventory and available for in store purchase, when there are no vendor restrictions in place. The product was not available for online purchase and there was no logical reason for denying me the ability to purchase my desired product, other than the GM not wanting to sell them today???Is this some kind of a joke? No logical explanation was given to me and no consideration for my position as a customer either! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Don’t go out of your way to attempt to make large purchases at this location, because the manager may not feel it’s available to sell...

Bought a carton of Great Value half & half. Didn’t have my glasses with me (my bad). Got home and when I went to pour some in it it was curdled. The date on it is 02/09/15. How can that even still be on the shelf?

Customer service is good, Great Value products are always a good value for the money. Recently the fresh produce has been subpar. For this reason I probably will use HEB curbside for my next grocery order.

Was a mess. There were containers of cold food left sitting out in freezer areaThey are extremely busy here all the time. Look to be short handed also. Prices are going up but that happens everywhere. If you go in get what you need, and do self checkout . It can be easy. I've only interacted with employees that do a great job here.

Usually always in order. Never have trouble finding anything and most employees are wonderful. Just don't go to electronics after 5pm.... This kid that works there makes you feel very uneasy in your own skin and he always tries to push you into buying something you don't want. And when you tell him no I'm sorry I don't need this but thank you, he will literally stand in front of you still talking about the stuff you don't want.

It's 9:30am on a Sunday and only the 10 items or less and self check-outs are available. Coupons aren't supposed to work at self check-outs but I scanned my in without seeing the sign. It worked for me.

Overall good store and lots of friendly employees! Just not a fan of self checkout and wish there were more operated lanes open. Definitely not a place to get a basket of groceries.

I find old moldy bread every time I go in there, they throw it up on the very top shelf and hope ppl don't find it. I've told the bakery several times about it and other workers as well but they don't listen.

Place is the worst no one has a answer to your question went to get a pair of ear rings an one person had the key in the whole store from what I was told.. an would take up to 45 mins an to come back when they are off break. But quick to check your basket that second. Management does absolute nothing to help. Stay away from this place an go to target. Walmarts are the worst places to go to now for service other than house supplies etc

I still hate the self check out. And the only alternative is waiting an eternity for the only cashier when I have a full basket of goods. If they offered a discount for us doing there job that would be nice.
