Unbelievable!! I was not sure what to expect for Hawk’s first professional haircut. We’d been doing it (poorly) ourselves for years. The before picture is Hawk hair on a good day. Most days we de-mat, brush, and cut his hair. It gets messy. We heard great things about Evergreen Hound. But it still took us a while to warm to the idea of leaving Hawk in the hands of strangers. I wish we had done it sooner. Hawk looks (and smells) AMAZING! I almost cried when I saw him. He seems so much more comfortable and happy. I dropped Hawk off at 8am and picked him up around 10am. He got to explore the place instead of being stuck in a crate. There was only one other dog, which seemed by design, no body wants their pooch stressed in a crate surrounded by howling dogs waiting to get buzzed. I was expecting to pay a lot. Like, $200+ and that was NOT the case. We absolutely LOVE this place, 100% will be back, and cannot recommend enough. FANTASTIC. Pics don’t do justice.

This place is awesome. As a pom mom (Pomeranian owner) find a great groomer is important. I found this groomer from another pom owner and quickly made an appt.Not only is the location adorable but the are so great with Teddy. I also really appreciate that my dog is not in a kennel all day, like his previous groomer. They are compassionate and take the best care of him. It's such a relief to know he is in good hands.Also, they offer pet portraits, which are the cutest. Can't wait to get some photos taken of my lil dude. Highly recommended this place!

Our pup gets quite worked up and nervous at most groomers - he came back from his first visit more relaxed than I’ve ever seen him after the groomers in 8 years! And for his second visit, he went back with them more easily than I’ve ever gotten him to. I can tell he’s comfortable and cared for, which is the most important thing to me. Not to mention he always comes back GORGEOUS!!!! So happy to have found this groomer.

Had a great experience with Noel back in November getting our two dogs nails trimmed! They were really sweet and patient, even with our older dog who gets a little nervous and our German Shepherd puppy who had never had them done professionally. They also make it really easy to schedule or cancel appointments, if needed. I’ve really appreciated their flexibility and professionalism. I highly recommend!

Truly the BEST grooming experience. We were actually fired by our previous groomer (our 8# yorkie and his toenail trimming issues were the cause). I was really nervous to try someone new but I am so incredibly happy we did!Both of my dogs came out with the best cuts they have ever had, seriously, the best (poodle mix and yorkie), they were happy when I picked them up and the one that was waiting for his sister to finish up was happily playing with a toy when I arrived.The environment is amazingly calm, the groomers are so skilled, I feel so lucky to have found them. Both dogs got a good dog report and are welcomed back!

Soo happy we found Evergreen Hound! It’s so cute and very clean inside and the groomers are very nice! The dogs get to hangout when finished rather than being kenneled which we love! 10/10!

My dog has trouble standing and Noel was very understanding and able to accommodate him. When I picked him up she let me know how he did. With other groomers usually his fur is a little damp and still shedding, this time Nate was completely dry and hasn’t shed since the appointment; so you can tell Noel took her time with him. Highly recommended, will be coming back!

These guys did an incredible job with my two puppers. Gertie got the best groom I’ve ever seen on her and Fred only required a bubble bath but he was so soft and fluffy after. Noelle is incredible and uses a consent-based method in grooming - so you know your fur babies are in good hands. They offer a wide variety of add-on services too (i.e., mini photo shoot, mini training session, cbd treatments, walk on town lake). Take your doggos in and tell them Libby sent you!

if you’re debating on a groomer, chose evergreen! Amy did an amazing job with the grooming. my samoyed came home calm, happy, and beautiful as ever. we also got a photo shoot done by Noel as an add on. the photos look so good and would’ve cost me a ton anywhere else for the level of quality they are! we will definitely be returning!!

My dog Fred has seen Noel for over a year now. He gets groomed every 6-9 weeks. She does an amazing job and Fred absolutely loves her ❤️ He runs into the shop with his tail wagging every time!

I am so glad I found Evergreen Hound! My Pomeranian has been victim of so many tragic haircuts at various places here in Austin that it’s become a running joke and I’ve just been getting his haircut anytime I visit my family in Houston.This was the best haircut Meeko has ever had, and the shortest amount of time he’s ever been at the groomers. I love that they have a play area for the dogs to wait to be picked up, because Meeko gets so stressed in the kennel. This was the first time my dog hasn’t come home an anxious wreck. Plus, they have adorable photo shoots I will absolutely be trying out next time! Thank you so much for taking great care of Meeko, I am so grateful to have found yall 🏻

We asked our beloved trainer about force free/fear free dog grooming salons she'd recommend for our pup, and she was enthusiastic and confident about recommending Evergreen Hound. Once our Great Pyrenees/ACD mix pup Misty Morning was fully vaccinated we started taking her in to see Kayleigh once a month for grooming. Kayleigh has been great about answering any questions we have, and about making Misty Morning's introduction to grooming a positive experience. She's building a great relationship with our pup, and Misty is SO wiggly and excited to see her every time! She comes home fluffy, clean, and smelling good! This is the only place I trust with grooming for my dog! The owner is kind and does a great job. My dog even comes back with a new bandana sometimes! During holiday seasons you can also do a photo shoot add on. The photos are priceless and memories forever

Amy has now groomed my Golden Retriever, Kevin, twice and has been by far and away the best grooms he has ever received. I have used other groomers in ATX, as well as in North and South Carolina - nothing compares to Evergreen.

I've been weary about groomers because my dog (Jordy) is very finicky. Noel takes kindness and compassion with animals to a whole other level, and embodies 'evergeeen' in her way of working with dogs. If you're looking for a great grooming experience for your dog, this is the only place you should consider taking your dog to. I asked her if she would also do human grooming, because the pampering dogs get here, I want that for me too 🤷‍♂️
