This store was decent when it first opened. Now it lacks customer service and cleanliness. The girl with colorful braids was on her phone while checking out customers. If you’re going to be on your phone at LEAST provide customer service while breaking policies. I was never greeted, thanked, asked did I find everything okay, etc... I’ll have to pass this store up on the way home— not worth my money.

Brian had an excellent attitude and really good at sales. Not pushy like the morning shift but fruendly and made me feel like a human rather than a customer. Really enjoy not only good customer service but great people skills when i check out with him.

Just came to this location and they closed it just because they want to and they always scan real fast and charge u double items then when u tell them they get mad not my fault u don't know how to scan, also the manager that works there park's on the handicap parking not letting the people who are actually handicap park there.

Talking about store I was soo happy been a frequent costumer! Great prices, and we can find everything what we need, nice place (new) but absolutely not the same if we talk about employees, my little son has a accident on pants, so, he was so afraid to go out the store wet, the have two restrooms (casually looking like publics, with a water drinking font between this two, you can't see any signs saying (employees only) so they say "sorry you have to go to the gas station's restrooms!"So, my son can't wait and suffered a accident making pee over his pants, I bought a pair of pants and request the restroom again because a place where I can change my son, but they still talking about I have to go out of the store and >Have to use the gas station's restrooms!!!!<.. the question is: why I have to walk with my son wet, to other place where I wasn't buying NOTHING, in effect they have rules OK I understanding that, but what I never could understand it's the bad manners they use to talk me and my kids, my son was crying, sad and scared, my daughter was trying to say SORRY to this couple of employees but that guy just was been mad and pushing us outside of the store. .. so she started crying feeling sad too.... racism???

The store manager told my mom and I to “not come back” after she refused to check us out when our register stopped working and we asked to be checked out at the next register. The cashier told us it was fine, but she stepped in said no “we couldn’t cut” and we had to wait till our register was fixed. We put our stuff on the counter and left.In times like this, you can’t tell people “not to come back”. It’s 2019 and in the middle of East Arlington, that’s not the culture here and never will be. If that’s your mindset, this community might not be the place for you then. There’s no room for prejudice, sorry.

Store manager Tonia Rhodes is neglectful towards both staff and customers. She not only asks people to leave all the time, but is guilty of banning innocent customers on minor causes. She and her girlfriend Mandy, (who works at the Family dollar off of Collins and Arkansas), both have lied about hours. They cut their associates hours, often they even go back and steal associates labor by adding in breaks in the system in which the associates did NOT take, and they both clock in all day and only work a portion of that day. This store has Rats and roaches, and Tonia has asked the associated to keep it on the low (SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK) because they have infested the food aisles, the pet aisles, the toilet paper and paper towels, the freezer section, and the chip aisle.Tonia has fired associates by simply taking them off the schedule and not having enough professionalism to even contact them or explain why. She cuts corners and does little to no labor herself, and she doesn't deserve your business.

I was looking for iTunes cards and for some reason here in Arlington everywhere I looked today no one had them. But this store had them. Thank you Family Dollar

very disrectful and had very poor customers service i was treated very rudely i would not suggest going to this family dollar my children were not doing any thing wrong just looking and asking daddy can you buy this for me and a worker automatically thought he was stealing and called his boss and made my poor little son cry.
