This is my always go to Family Dollar. And usually everyone is really helpful and nice. But the African-American short haired manager does not speak to customers professionally. Even if you have to follow the guidelines, there's a way you can express that showing that you care but you have a responsibility.

Be sure to keep your kids close when you shop. Assistant manager Cristina likes to harass them and say inappropriate things to them. Very uncomfortable experience for me and my child.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Went into this location Yesterday on 1/1/20 and will never return back to this store at 321 S Bowen Rd. The manager named Brooklyn was RUDE. There was a huge clearance banner hanging on the building and bright yellow signs on the door stating Christmas items were 50% off. The signs stated Christmas gift wrap was included. When I entered the store immediately at the front there were 2 huge boxes of gift wrap and another area that had lots of Christmas items. Brooklyn, the manager, was sitting down at a table around the corner from the entrance and observed me looking at the Christmas clearance items by the front entrance....I walked over and asked her if all the gift wrap was 50% off and her reply to me was "None of the Christmas items are for sale. Its all getting boxed up." My initial thoughts were why is it out on the store floor and why are there signs advertising it for 50% off posted on the front door. When I suggested to Brooklyn that the items be moved off of the sales floor her response to me was " I am all by myself...I'm not Superwoman." I was in absolute SHOCK!!! Other customers were entering looking at the Christmas items and I had to mention to them the Christmas items were not for sale. Apparently Brooklyn was not going to volunteer that information....as she did not tell me it was not for sale until I asked if it was 50% off. I am really glad I did not get a cart full of items only to find out at the check out it could not even be sold to me. There are some major training and coaching opportunities at this store!!!!!!

They treat us like dogs. When we went to check out and the second my mom told her about the coupons, she said that there should be $5 off because of the coupon. Then she proceeded to say $12 anyway. Since there was no money off she took the item off and the lady didn’t like that.

Unfriendly staff. Cashier forgot to give me all my bags. Didn't notice until I got home which is 20 mins from the store. Tried to call store several times and of course no one answered. I was calling to let them know I may not make it back tonight to retrieve my items and would get them tomorrow due to time restraints. So i sent my husband to the store and at 8:55 the doors were locked and they wouldn't let him in. He knocked on the window and saw the cashier and he look at him and said we are closed. He held up the receipt saying my wife didn't receive all of her items and he basically ignored him. Not the first time this store was closed before its 9pm closing time.

I noticed a lot of old reviews, I was there today. Since covid they have remodeled and the stock has gotten larger, very organized and easy to find. Brooklyn has been there since I been going there, and happens to work alone alot, right now it's hard to find help, she's still very nice, and pretty patient with those who come in there, but again she and other employees are alone a lot, meaning it's hard to get the freight up, or go help a person at that moment. I love going in there, no matter how long it's been, because I actually appreciate that manager and all she does

Smh Lock Doors Between 830 Or 840 Smh I live Right Next To Them But Unable To Grab Last Minute Items Because I Get Off at 8 and can't even Pick nothing up Tissue etc because they wanna close and lock doors way before time.... but if you think of the big picture if 9 people are turned away and we are all spending 20 to 50 dollars in that last 30 minutes of them closing earlier than expected just do the MATH BUT OH WELL

Me and my two small daughters were in there and the employee Rachel was cussing up a storm and cussing about the manager or store manager and about another girl that quit. We ended up leaving I don't think it's appropriate and unprofessional.

The store manager refused to sell more than 2 bottles of isopropyl alcohol, to my boyfriend, because he had a Trump hat on. The store manager even told him that was why he wouldn't sell him more and even accused him removing a store limit sign. The fact is there wasn't a sign, not even 2 hours prior. How do I know? I bought 4 bottles 2 hours prior with absolutely no problem. You can hate Trump all you want but that doesn't give you a right to discriminate. If people would be more respectful of others differing viewpoints - no matter what political side of the aisle you are on - maybe there would be less hate being dished out.

We went in with ten min to spare before closing and the lady was extremely rude and said they were closed even though they weren’t scheduled to close till 9. She didn’t even say it in a polite way, she was asked if they close at 9 and she said “we close now”They need to reevaluate what is more important- customers or leaving 10 min early.

This location was pleantifully stocked with just about everything. I still spent the normal crisp $20 it takes to go in and out of the dollar store. We went in for a birthday bag and the tissue paper for the festive/decorative gift insomble we had going on. We Liggett left out of there loaded down, with all the TGIF potato skins flavors and some Limon cookies drinks and everything else

Sometimes rude cashier's. Bad management. Trashed outside almost every time I go there. Over flowing trash cans. If you are there in the summer be prepared for the air conditioning to be broken.

I fell in some oil in the parking lot as soon as I got out the car. I hurt both my legs one arm my back. One employee was looking out window but no one came out to help. After I told the lady at the register what happened they didn't go put rocks down to prevent anyone else from falling. This is the morning after and I am in so much pain.Bemecia Wells

The selection at this store for what I was looking for was very poor. Also, the items with tags showing digital discount prices were not listed on their website. At least the employees were friendly and helpful and the store was clean.

Why do they call it a dollar store when everything is not a dollar? They have some good deals.. especially on cards and gift bags.. but I was disappointed overall.

9:25 a.m. Saturday August 18th where are the workers, unknown 9:35 a.m. no show no help 945 a.m. nothing 10 a.m. finally one person is at the counter. Basically horrible experience don't go here if you expect any help
