Traveling & staying in a town not far from Amarillo, called and was able to get a last minute appointment here. These ladies are super sweet & they took great care of my baby for me! I told them to just do whatever they thought my dog needed & she looked so clean, smelled great, the haircut was perfect & she was so happy to see us when we went to pick her up! Thank you to these wonderful ladies at Needs Us Barks Us, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! <3

Honestly I had a wonderful experience and so did link at this place! I was initially nervous to take my pup to a new salon since both he and I had grown accustomed to going to a specific one back when I lived in Miami. 😅However I can say that all those worries were washed away the moment I left him there. Sincerely, the staff are just so lovely and personable with both of us. They helped me achieve the cut I needed for him, especially since he was in rough condition from not being able to have regular sessions after our abrupt move, and they were very understanding with the whole situation.They gave me some tips after I picked him up as to what they’d suggest for his next appointment to ensure his comfort and minimize any risks that could come from having a shaved down style. They will definitely be my go to from now on, the long car ride is totally worth it:)With Much Love,Jenny and Link 🐩💞💞💞The pics are the before and after, I asked personally for him to be shaved down quite a bit due to some tight mats around his neck and ears.

NUBU - was exactly what I had been looking for. I needed a place that listened and that was understanding of my dogs hate for being bathed. They were so great and he came back to me looking so handsome and fresh. I loved the report card I got back. We found our grooming home and I’m so pleased. Thank you to both Courtney’s for caring for my boy. And to the front desk girls for being so welcoming and nice.

Did not cut my dogs nails short, as asked, and paid extra for. They didn't even cut her dew claw nails, which needed to be clipped. They charge a fee for using the debit card machine so take cash. 🙄 Tired of places passing on their fees to customers. Most groomers (places in general) I've been to accept venmo, etc so you don't have to use card machines. They also require a $30 deposit, when you make appointment, in case you cancel, so you get charged the fee anyway! I was told they would call our vet for rabies vaccine confirmation. When I went in they had not called. I had to find the email from vet and not only show them, but FORWARD the email to them! There is also a contract you have to sign, which I've never seen at ANY other groomers. I was doing all of this while holding my dog, purse etc. There are other groomers who are much more customer friendly. When I picked up my dog, she seemed scared. I will not return.

They are professional. The owner is a master groomer… most do not have this certification. It’s really frustrating when you take your beloved pet into a groomer and they get it wrong. I won’t mention other shops and my experiences.My only suggestion is if you want it done right there are no other options. I’ve been around the block a time or two with less than professional groomers who claim they are pros but truly lack the skill set that’s required. Guess I’m picky.

I brought my 4 month old Yorkie puppy in for a groom and they were the sweetest to him. It was his first groom so he was understandably skittish so they were not able to do a full cut. But they were able to still get him looking very clean and got the hair out of his eyes that I was concerned about. I will continue to bring him here so he can get comfortable and I know they will do an amazing job every time ♥️

This was my first time using Need Us Bark Us and they definitely did not disappoint. I took my dog Willie in to get a haircut and they did such an amazing job on him. He’s always been a pretty skittish dog ever since we adopted him and those at need us bark us made him feel right at home. I was shocked they were able to trim his paw pads because he normally doesn’t like his paws touched. I will be bringing Willie here more often for his haircuts. Thank y’all so much for doing an amazing job.

We will be back for sure! They did a fantastic job on our Australian shepherd and our sheltie yesterday! When we stepped through the door the atmosphere was calm and the place was very clean and smelled clean as well. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They did everything they said they were going to do and did it very well. We actually expected to pay more than we did so we feel the prices are fair. Looking forward to our next appointment!

Excellent grooming, fair prices, friendly staff. I highly recommend them! They took care of my baby after she had a previous bad experience with another groomer; she seemed to be happy when I picked her up. They also put a little feather pom in her hair and it was the cutest thing ever! We will definitely be coming back.

They were so thoughtful to me! I have a 6 month old and had to bring him along so they brought out the paperwork for me to fill out in the car so I wouldn't have to bother with coming in. They took my pup from my car after the paperwork and he was returned to me looking so handsome, just the way we wanted him! I'm so thankful for such thoughtful service at a great price. Thanks guys! We were so impressed with Need Us Bark Us! Our goldendoodle was long overdue for a haircut, and they did an excellent job with her. I appreciated that they gave us a report card for how she did and treats for the ride home. We will definitely continue to use their services!

I took my puppy husky Harrah and they were so sweet with her and the nicest people ever!Sadly, my baby passed a way a couple weeks before her second grooming appointment and when they called to confirm I informed the Harrah had passed. They were so sweet and nice and we received a card from them a week later saying how sorry they are for our loss and signed by everyone. This is one of the nicest things ever, they are truly amazing people!

Wonderful experience, this place is very safety oriented during this pandemic. My dog came back fluffy, nails trimmed, and even had a new tie. He did not seem overly stressed or anxious either. Will be coming back.

The cleanest and friendliest dog spa in Amarillo. They have the most personalized service along with a great choice of items that you might need for your fur baby. Such as the coolest of collars made from Indian tribes , shampoos, etc. They have treats at the counter . It honestly feels like home when you walk in the door. If you want the best care for your for baby where they and you will feel like your with family NEED US BARK US is the only place to go. The only thing that bothers me is that i didn't know about NEED US BARK US 10 years ago.

I love the staff here almost as much as we mutually love my dogs. They go for simple grooming but want to stay for the treats! I get a report card for them afterwards and they are always so eager to help me out with my old man dog.

I have taken my dog here for almost 9 years. She's not always easy to handle, especially since shes gotten older and is cranky. There have been a couple of hiccups but when I addressed them they were receptive and immediately did what we could to correct it. Dogs feed off people's energy and mine just was not digging the groomer she had been switched to. We talked about it and how it's just one of those things so we switched back to her old groomer and we've been good since.As I said my dog is older and less cooperative. NUBU read an article on comfort grooming and just a couple of days ago, Charlotte (the owner and head groomer), talked to me about it and wanted to try it on my girl next time she goes in. This is going above and beyond what is expected at most places. They could have said she was becoming difficult and to go elsewhere, but instead they observed and studied her behaviors, and came up with a solution.So other review that say they can't handle dogs or they are/were abusive is unfathomable to me. My dog has pushed probably every limit they have and they have worked to find solutions to make her experience pleasurable. I would not entrust my furbaby with anyone else. They love her and go above and beyond for her.
