Very nervous dog mom, leaving our poodle for the first time with a boarder and I am happy to report everything was spectacular. Very easy communication, loved the facility and Penny was in great hands. She was also groomed while there and she looks precious. She has been very anxious to get groomed because of a past incident and she had no anxiety here! So grateful to have found Jolly Ranch!

I am very please with jolly ranch, they listened to every concern i had because my dog hasn’t been socialized in awhile and they worked with him and did amazing!! I got pictures sent and updates which is definitely a good thing because i was worried since it was a new place for him but he definitely had a blast and i highly recommend jolly ranch, if you are looking for a good place to take you fur baby it’s here!!

This place is amazing. Super friendly and they respond promptly to messages. Plus, they are veteran owned and operated! When we picked up our pups, they smelled so good. In fact, they still smell good after a few days. I definitely recommend Jolly Ranch!

I was able to get a last minute appointment with their groomer and they did an AMAZING job. My pup looked so much cleaner with a good haircut. 10/5 stars!

Left my two sweet dogs with Jolly Ranch Pet Resort for 4 days while I went to Boerne Texas to get married and on to Corpus Christi/Padre Island for a beach honeymoon. We were nervous about boarding our dogs but we felt a lot better after meeting the staff on location at drop off. They did a wonderful job, I think my dogs actually enjoyed being there almost a little doggy vacation for them. The boarding prices were very reasonable and a kind dog loving staff made us feel like we picked the best local Abilene facility to care for our two girls until we got back home. Highly recommended!

I have used Jolly Ranch many times since moving to Abilene almost 2 years ago and can't recommend them enough. They went above and beyond to keep my pets safe and secure over the 4th of July weekend. One of my high anxiety dogs sustained a slight injury while trying to escape, due to being freaked out by fireworks. I should have medicated him, but honestly didn't think about it. They called and let me know right away while it wasn't major, I was out of state and unable to get to him in a timely manner to check on him. They took good care of him and worked with me on coming up with a solution until I got home. It was hard being away from my dog while I just wanted to be with him, but knowing he was well cared for really made it so much easier. I really can't thank Jolly Ranch Pet Resort enough. I will continue to use Jolly Ranch over and over, because I can trust that they will take good care of my dogs and communicate with me if anything happens; this is so important to me. This was the first incident I have ever had and it was completely my crazy scared dog and no fault of theirs, whatsoever. I am so grateful to have found them. They have great accomodations, good prices, are great at communicating with you, and are highly reliable. We love Jolly Ranch.

My 20 month old English Setter just spent his first overnight boarding experience at Jolly Ranch and I am extremely happy with the care that he was provided. He is a super energetic bird dog who needs a lot of play time and interaction and he came home happy and exhausted. And the bath/grooming he received was also top notch! I highly recommend and this will be his new home away from home while I travel and for his grooming needs.

Literally the only place we take our dogs now. There are other great places in town like frontier but here the dogs get to run as far and as much as they like. Frontier they’re cramped up for most of the day and get play time, which is nice but even prisons get play time and that isn’t what I want my dog to be at. This place lets the dogs be dogs, the owners listen to what the dogs want all day. The owners must have a strong and deep love for every animal. My dogs can’t get out of the car fast enough, and don’t look back, every single time we take them here. They love it and come back happy and well cared for which makes me happy.

Love this place! My hyperactive giant mutt loves to play with friends when we board him and they do an amazing job grooming and deshedding him and grooming his Maltese brother. Very different dogs and same great work. My dogs (especially the Maltese) have separation anxiety but do amazingly at the facility. They get so excited when they see where we're pulling into!

Our two dogs stayed here for over a week for the first time!! They loved it! They played so hard and were cared for like their own. We didn’t worry about them because we got updates and pictures !! When we picked them up, they were given a bath!!! No other resort has done that for us. The little touches is what sets this place apart.

Recently I had a bad fall. My daughter and Pearl, her dog, live in Abilene. She made the trip to help me when I left the hospital. Pearl went on a vacation to Jolly Ranch and had a great time. She received much love and care as well as daily needs. Our baby came home happy after nearly three weeks and thanks to Jolly Ranch I am recovering.
