I absolutely love the team here! I love the walk in idea and can just bring my doggos whenever is convenient (or when I remember). They don't do appointments and it's such an easy experience. Even when they are busy, it doesn't take too long to get seen. They work fast. The ladies that run the office are great. They are so friendly and inviting. Absolutely recommend this place!

When we moved here we tried a couple of places like Abilene vet and Chimney rock. They didn’t seem like a good fit. You guys have always been nice. Both staff members we saw today were super friendly. I think Tobi liked them as long as they didn’t touch his ears 😄

I took both of my pups in for allergy shots. One also was limping. They were quick, knowledgeable and very efficient! I love this place! The vet and staff are so nice. I 100 % trust this place when my puppies have a problem!

We have used Frontier Vet Express after trying a few vets in town, and we have finally found our primary vet care! They helped us when it was time for our 15 yo baby to go to rest and were so very kind and compassionate. Then they have helped us as we got our new puppy love. I highly recommend this place!

Yesterday, we had to put our 14 year old dog down. The staff at Frontier Vet Express could not have been kinder or more compassionate with our pup and our family. Their prices are fair and their service is top notch!If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Frontier Vet Express is absolutely fantastic. We've been using their Express clinic and main clinic for several years and have had nothing but the very best experiences with them. Their vet is incredibly personable. Their staff members are all friendly and helpful. They even worked with our fear-reactive dog who was traumatized during a spay procedure from a different veterinarian's office. At all of her appointments, the techs and vet all strive to make her experience as stress-free as possible.I went through several other local vets before finding Frontier and I can confidently say they are leagues above the other vet offices in Abilene in terms of professionalism and communication. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and kind. They work with you and help you every step of the way to take care of you and your pets like family all at affordable and up-front costs.They are the only vet office I will ever use and the only one I will recommend. Thank you, Frontier for all you do to make a difference.

We lead very busy lives as parents, educators, and a coach, so we LOVE that Frontier Vet Express lets us walk in and be seen quickly. We have been several times and been treated fantastically every time. Went in today and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Not only that, but a very large dog growled and lunged at my Basset in the lobby and the vet tech jumped in front of my dog! Wow! People who truly love animals. Would recommend over and over.

Excellent vet. We have a cat that knows days in advance when I made an appointment and would always hide on the day of the appointment. With Frontier Express I was able to surprise him and get him in for his checkup.The staff is everything you expect from the sister clinic on Treadaway.

This clinic was quick to response to my sick kitten. The vets were very attentive to the symptoms my kitten was experiencing, prompted by an immediate surgery, and active monitoring of his recovery after surgery. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and loved on my kitten just as much as the vets. The staff allowed me to visit my kitten in recovery as much as possible in the appropriate times. The vets allowed me some time alone with him before he went into surgery which made the transition so much easier on me. Thank you Frontier for all you have done to help Brave improve in his health, you’re my go to clinic!

We have seen Dr. How twice now, once for a sick puppy and once for a well check and shots. She and her staff are amazing. Very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to your pet's needs along with covering every question you may need to ask. The fact there are no surprise fees, as they list them on their website, is also refreshing.Would not take our babies anywhere else now. As medical staff ourselves, we know how difficult it is dealing with patients who can actually answer when you ask where it hurts. Major kudos to this staff for accessing your pets symptoms and being able to address their needs and our concerns. Look no further for an amazing vet.

We have been taking our pups to Frontier for years now, but recently we needed one of them to see a doctor faster than we could make an appointment. I was so thankful for the the Express clinic and the care our sweet Dakota received there. Dr. Howk tended to our pup in best way you could ask for as an owner. She was patient with him, her techs were too and we were in and out of there in no time, all fixed up. Highly recommend the Express clinic if you need to make an unplanned visit to Frontier!

I didn't know this place even existed until today when I was in a tight spot trying to get my Bella seen. They got me and got me taken care of! Dr. Hand is awesome as well as the nurse that was in the room with us going over the details, etc. I will definitely recommend and will be going back to them in the future! According to my receipt, the nurse's name was Haley P. She was amazing with Bella which is a scared spazzed out 6 pound chihuahua.

My cat had quit eating and was obviously sick. I called and then rolled in. We were seen immediately by two caring, competent technicians. They were really good at soothing a distraught animal. We were then seen by Dr. Houck. She diagnosed the situation in three minutes and then drained the wound on his paw. He was administered meds, including a long-acting antibiotic. I was out the door in thirty minutes for a very reasonable fee. Wonderful people and service. Thank you!

Maggie my dog cut her foot on glass. Nowhere else could take her and Frontier saw her and took her as soon as we got there. She had treatment later on same day and she was back to her normal self. They were quick, kind, helpful, and definitely affordable! I’m so happy with this place and for taking care of my baby! Thank you Frontier and staff!

I took my doggo in a couple weeks ago and we were in and out of there within an hour and a half and she is most of the way better now! The people there are amazing and they also have in house cats that aren't really around the dogs but would love on you, overall awesome vet!

Young recent DVM lady was at the end of a long busy day and she still took Great care and was very pleasant and professional. Middle of the road prices. The service is fast and organized. The staff does a great job and we were happy with the several visits there. One visit was the difficult circumstance of a very old dog that was suffering and they did an admirable job of moving us thru that in a compassionate way.

Staff was wonderful and got us taken care of right away! Even though we only went in for vaccines, I love that Dr. Howk gave my little chihuahua a thorough exam and answered all my questions.My dog Bean ended up having an allergic reaction to one of the vaccines so I had to take him back shortly after. The staff was so caring and quickly helped my baby get to feeling better.

I had to take my cat of eleven years in to be looked at. From the moment I walked in I was comfortable. Everyone was so nice.They go us into an exam room very quickly. The young woman was taking a history and doing vitals. So gentle the entire time. She left the room for a moment to speak to the doctor and came back and told us they needed to do an x-ray. Every single time she touched my kitty she was so careful. gentle, caring. They did the x-ray and the doctor who just continued the same attitude as the rest of the staff. Be gentle, caring, concerned, passionate and listen the the owner. She would stroke and talk to my kitty. Then she told me that it was cancer and it was wide spread. So I decided to let her go ahead and go on the rainbow bridge to kitty heaven The entire experience was 100% great when it came to staff. i No matter the title or job And day before yesterday I got a card from them in the mail. I thought it was just a regular card nothing special yet very caring. Oh I was wrong. Every one in that office had signed it. And they had her name in such pretty writing and with it they included a paper with two of her paws prints. To me that was the most special thing they could have done! I have been a client of Frontier Vet since 2014 and am so lucky to have discovered their Express Clinic. I was able to rush my dog, Maisie, in without an appointment and was seen immediately. As always, they were kind, attentive, and thorough! I was concerned as to how much I’d walk out spending but was pleasantly surprised by how affordable they were (services and medication)! I am beyond grateful for the care Dr. Houser and the techs provided! I have always been able to trust them with the care of both my cats and dog. We took our miniature schnauzer puppy in for her 2nd round of puppy shots. We were seen quickly and our puppy was super calm and comfortable with the staff. I loved knowing from the beginning what the fees would be. I also appreciate the complimentary exam they provide. They caught that our puppy had a very small hernia and was reassured that it could be corrected (if it didn’t correct itself) when it was time to spay her. I’ll definitely use them again and am recommending them to all my friends and family.
