I cannot say enough good things about this little homestyle cafe. It is not very big. The food here is absolutely fantastic.. We got there a little late for lunch. So we were the last ones in the restaurant before they closed down at 2.. The owner came out of the kitchen and introduced himself and was very pleasant. His little grandson, was there. Who's about 1 year old. And when the owner said he was the owner and cook. I said I thought the little guy that just left was the owner. And he laughed and said yeah he is. The atmosphere is truly unique. Bible scriptures in versus all over the walls and the tables. All the help where's christian t shirts. And every single person that works there is the most pleasant and charming people you would ever want to meet. I give it my highest recommendation.

My son and I have ate here several times and we both really recommend this place! The staff are very pleasant, the restaurant is clean and the food is very good! I have had the Hamburger and Fries plate, the Hamburger was so good tasting, they use high quality meat that you can taste in the Hamburger and the Fries were good too. The next time we went I had the Chicken Fried Steak plate with Fries and when the plate came out I had to look twice as the Chicken Fried Steak was almost as big as the plate and it too was very good! Another couple things about this place is when you enter the restaurant you will see scripture’s on the wall’s and the staff wear Christian tshirts, the prices are very reasonable in fact I think some of the major chain restaurants have higher prices, less food and does not compare to the great tasting food at A little Slice Of Heaven in Abernathy, Tx, it’s right off of I27 so if you are driving by Abernathy be sure and stop in for some real home cooked food. I personally am excited to go eat there again!

This is such a charming and refreshing stop. the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly. My food was brought out hot, fast and fresh. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely tasty breakfast. Freshly made. This Cafe is family owned and ran. The man of this family is a veteran and proud to support respectful differences. They are friendly and appreciate your business. The name fits the decor. They have beautiful artwork with scriptures and even play Christian music.

On the road back home and pulled in to Abernathy for a break. One of the best Diners we've been in for a long time. Clean. Spotless. Fast and friendly service. Best of all...they do not enforce, nor believe in masks. Wonderful Texans who value freedom and Excellent Food. Highly recommend!

Literally from the moment me and my wife walked in we felt welcomed. Jokes from the wonderful staff.Food was more than fantastic. I’m picky when it comes to my hash browns. So I usually don’t eat them when we go out for breakfast but I ate everything. I loved it all.We will be coming back here very soon.

This place was recommended by a friend of mine who said it was amazing. I walk in and am immediately shocked by the decor and Clothes the employees wear. I could have let go of the absolutely out of line overly religious theme of the place, had the food not been so bad. My burgers bun was burned and the patty was very thin. My fries were over cooked and tastes kind of sweet. I feel like they are far more focused on pushing Jesus than they are on pushing good food. The entire place gave me the creeps. Then again I’m not from a small town like this and I understand tribe mentality, so maybe it’s my fault. Either way from the crazy religious decor to the horrible food, I’ll not be going back.

I really enjoy this restaurant, the food is perfect and the staff are the best. Not a single thing to complain about. The owner and his wife are very nice people, very welcoming and accommodating. The staff are a real pleasure to speak with and they take care of customers very well. 5 stars on all accounts.

Great place to eat. The ladies that work for me go there all the time. My fave is their Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich it's not some little frozen patty it's a whole chicken fried steak. Twice the size of the bun. If you haven't been there it's a must,

My girlfriend came here with out me.So they said I just had to check this place out.so we were out shopping.came here. Oh my god.I order this dish call Road Kill its like as A smother ground beef with mushrooms.so so good.you won't be disappointed. It came with mashed potatoes green beans salad Texas toast.

My husband and I discovered this place about a month ago. Our first trip was great food was good and filling.We decided to drive the hour and a half yesterday for breakfast unfortunately we arrived at about 10:30 so we had to get lunch. We both got the lunch special.Big disappointment. The steak fingers were as big as my husband's fingers and there were 3 on a plate. My green beans were cold. No flavor on beans or corn.We both left hungry. And disappointed we had waited for so long to be able to drive it back enjoy a little Slice of Heaven.However we will not be going back.

We were on a rode trip between Midland, Tx and Borger, Tx. Was planning on eating in Lubbock but saw this place online and decided to give it a try. My wife and I both got the Friday fried fish special. The fish was hot and tender and tasted great. The beans that came with the special were excellent. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and will definitely bypass Lubbock again next time! Christian atmosphere and very friendly service!
