My only complaint is that almost everytime I go at least one or more of my shopping list items are out of stock. But at least now I can get on the app and see if specific items at my DG location are in or out of stock and it will also tell me how many of each item they have left in stock.

Nice little grocery store. If you are familiar with Dollar General then imagine a small grocery store added in.

Well I love all the employees and the location of the store and what you can generally buy there.. but lots of times there out of stock not BC people are buying it ..no.. The food area is not well stocked ..its just not being ordered I go to the smaller dollar generals and they are overstocked ...I don't know what happened in this store...I do know it needs a little help and a little TLC... now the rest of the store is well stocked

It is a good place to make quick access to shop for various items. Their prices on Clover Valley items are very reasonable. The prices on name brand items are sometimes expensive. I enjoy shopping there better during the day. The employees are very helpful and nice. At night is a different story! Very seldom can I find someone to help me with a question. It's a problem trying to check out,because there are not enough cashier's that are willing to check customers out! There seems to be enough employees but they slack in their duties! There have been time's that the check out line is ridiculous!! It begins in the front of the store to all the way to the back, with only one register open! I have heard several customers complain and have walked out of the store. Upper management need's to work on that problem!!!

Very clean. Organized. And well stocked with fresh and frozen foods. Prices are reasonable low and well worth it. If your in a hurry to get somewhere and need to make a pit stop to grab and go...this is a perfect store to do just that. The employees are sweet and friendly. Never a bad place.

This store is great for getting a few groceries here and there and household items. We always find fun things, especially in the seasonal aisles. But the bathrooms are the only downfall. They are always dirty and smelly when we have to use them (with three boys under the age of five, it's pretty often). But the rest of the store is great.

I always love dollar General for a quick stop. The market ones are great because they veggies and meat and more groceries than the regular ones. However I've not had very good luck with the meat I have got there. It usually goes bad with in a day or 2 if I don't use it right away.

Major props for the convenient location. It's nice to be able to go "just down the road" to pick up a few essentials. It's quite popular so it's busy more often than not. Yet they rarely have more than two cashiers at peak times. There have been several occasions where multiple (food) shelves were bare. When they do stock, good luck getting to anything! Some are friendly but most employees act as if you're in their way. Store tends to be a bit on the dirty side, probably because they're understaffed. Produce is usually mushy and/or bug infested. If they'd make a few changes it'd be a great store!

They're often out of a lot of groceries and don't have a lot of cashiers. Many of the shelves are bare. This isn't the first time...I asked if they had French dressing and an employee said she had never heard of it.I like to shop here because they usually have good prices but I end up having to go pick up the things they're out of at the other stores in town.

Very convenient hours and *usually* have most of what you need. Their produce section could use some work as far as variety, but no big issues with the store/stock itself. The employees are the bad part. They are either rude and will not speak to you, snap at you, throw your change at you etc. OR they are really unprofessional talking about how they don't like their supervisor or they hate their job and want to go home. I've worked retail and we all feel that, but you just don't do that to your customers. Plus, there will be 3-4 people milling around up front with only 1 register. So maybe the cashiers do get frustrated if the store isn't being stocked ran properly. Who knows?

Rarely have shelves stocked almost no customer service normally only have 1 check out lane open when the store is crowded and the line is backed up to middle of the aisle. Non recommended.

Dollar General is a good place to shop but they do have some cashiers that are not friendly at all and want even talk to you at all. They need to keep there shelves stocked better. A lot of times they are out of items.

It was our first time being in a Dollar General Grocery store. I was quite amazed by it. This one is very clean and the smell was even clean. Yes, I judge a store by its smell. The fruits and vegetable area was clean, I did not see any over ripe fruits like some chain stores and the people (workers) are very nice people.

Great Store for woodbury, so glad its available. Store is a bit cluttered, but they are super busy so its understandable. Lots of needed items not found in other little food stops in town.

Good value on most items. Employees are knowledgeable about products and willing to assist you when needed. They do need more employees on hand as on occasion they only have one register available

It's like most clean, well stocked most of the employees are friendly an helpful but evidently not enough of them because they have 16 or so cash registers with 1 being EXPRESS register 10 items or less, they will only have 1 or 2 registers open an maybe open the express lane when customers are backed up 12-20 ppl on each of the two registers that were already open you know that is precious square footage those lanes that may get used a couple weeks a year that they could have more product (clothes) for ppl to choose from.

Great location, has almost everything I need, courtious service. Needs handicap parking for vans with lifts. It dangerous for me and others to park at the end of the parking lot and have to hope the other drivers see us as we are in wheelchairs.

There was only 1 cashier on the registers and several customers in line. But you had to wait on the Cashier Cuz She wasn't even at the front of the store. If Fred's was still open at that time of night And I still have to walk ,!!!! WELL THAT'S WHERE I WOULD ALWAYS BE GOING, CUZ OF BETTER PRICES, NICER EMPLOYEES, & CLEANER STORE.

The Dollar General Market in Woodbury is open late during the week.It's about the only place to buy beer late at night.and prices are cheaper than just about any where in town.They do card for alcohol purchases and check out is usually very slow.Most of the employees are friendly and helpful.

Did not have a lunch box or cooler in stock they said it's seasonal so I go to old faithful Piggly wiggly and Bam they have both let's tighten up dollar general

Best place to go when you don't want to have to go to Walmart. Very friendly staff, Nikki is always smiling and very helpful anytime my grandparents or I come in the store.

Thankful for having a Dollar General Market in Woodbury. The only reason I dinged it to four stars, is I think they over do the seasonal isles at the expense of daily need products. Between them, Piggly Wiggly, Ace Hardware and Fred's, you can find most anything without having to make that dreaded trip to Walmart!

Well, this Dollar General, or "the dollar" as it is sometimes referred to locally, is a large Dollar General with a grocery store taking up one third of the building. The produce is usually fresh, and they even sell beer ( Pilsner, lager and even an IPA ), so it is a little more than your average Dollar General. The checkout could be a little better staffed, and a little less chatty but they mean well.
