Average burgers. Good onion rings. Mayo packets were nearly impossible to open. We were able to open 1 of 3.Staff were super helpful and friendly.Large covered outdoor seating in a peaceful setting. No indoor dining here.

I'm not much in the habit of giving 5 stars. This was a very good burger. Great location for just coming out of the Smoky National Park and being hungry. The service was great, young friendly staff. Very attractive building and grounds. Maybe I just grew up in a more simple time but $7 for a burger is a bit rough. The ice cream cones are really good. I still would go back again to be honestParking: Large parking lot. Very kid friendly and nice grounds around the business. Dog friendly as well. Just pick up behind the pooch is all they ask

This place was a wonderful surprise while visiting cades cove! We had our pups with us and this place is dog friendly! We happened upon Burger Master on opening day for the season of 3/15. The only suggestion is they really need a cold service window for the people only wanting ice cream and other frozen treats. We wanted to go back after the burger but decided against it due to the long line. Even with that being said everything else was wonderful! The patty melt is excellent as well do not count it out and get the sauce!

Great place to grab a burger after the river float or anytime. The line can definitely get long around lunch time. The burger was delicious. The fries were good as well. Service was pretty quick once we ordered. There was a long line when we got there and that moved pretty slow.Parking: Couple of parking lots around. There's one for the River Rat stuff and then there's a decent sized one for the burger joint.

I've been coming here since this was just a small building on the side of the road. In the 90's you couldn't find a better burger. Now a new beautiful building, and great young staff but something about the food isn't quite the same as it was before. Not bad, but not quite as good as it used to be either. Worth stopping by for a quick bite if your on the area

This a great little place to get a hamburger and some ice cream. It has a great outdoor atmosphere with some picnic tables and s covered area with raised tables. The staff is very courteous and the area is kept clean. The picnic tables were great and spacious for large people. I had the single cheeseburger with fries and a drink. It came as a meal. It burgers are a little on the pricey side. The meal and tip was about $18, but you’re also paying for the outdoor atmosphere and experience. We went in the evening where the weather was great.

Pretty crowded and famous spot for lunch. The burgers were good and they have an open ambiance for seating. Ice creams were yumm and loaded with sweetness. This is the only spot for lunch after you exit from cades cove visit. There are a few others nearby, but this spot is the first.

Located just down the road from the GSMNP, it is a great place to stop for a burger. Since it's close to the river and several tubing places, no one minds if you show up in your swimsuit. The burgers are very large and the fries are so delicious you can eat them plain or even by themselves as a snack! The shakes are very good as well. If you get a burger combo, you can ask them to sub your drink for a shake. Don't forget to take a picture with the bear statue. 😁

The burgers are terrible. They're frozen patties, not homemade. They were dry and the buns weren't toasted enough to make them soft, so we ended up ditching the bun walfway through. Neither of us finished the burgers. If you like the taste of cafeteria/amusement park food, then this is the place for you. Lesson learned, just stick with ice cream and skip the namesake of the place. Drinks were good and fries were decent. People sitting at a table next to us agreed the burgers were bad and said they'd never eat here again too. So we weren't alone in our assessment.

Our Family was tent camping @ the KOA down the road for the week. I spotted this place on the drive in from Crossville, TN & couldn't wait to try it out.What a FANTASTIC experience. Good food & fast service. Pretty nostalgic vibe going on. I like the burger & fries... my Girlz loved the ice cream.

Cute place with walk up ordering. Plenty of outside seating with sun shade. Self serve fountain drink.Burger meat was dense. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but it was a decent burger. Plenty of meat for sure.As for the ice cream, good price. I would’ve preferred more topping and less ice cream.Friendly young staff.Gravel parking lot.Next to river rat tubing.

This is a favorite stop for us on any day. We love the Smoky Mountain Burger (their burger patties are so juicy) and their kid chicken nuggets. Don’t get us started on the ice cream…sooo good.We hope to make this spot a sweet family tradition with our littles after bike rides or hikes.Kid-friendliness: A favorite spot for kids! We let ours run in the grass or enjoy sitting in the outdoors with us.

We stopped for lunch at the Burger master. This place was very small but the service was extremely quick. We ate at the outside tables. I can't believe how they are going to handle all the people from the festival. I had the double cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. We are going to stop here after we do our shopping for ice cream.

makes no sense that you can only order cups and cones online but no other cold products. standing in that line for 30+ minutes just for ice cream is terrible

We were looking forward to trying this place due to seeing the lines and hearing how great everything was. However, we were not impressed. I had a dbl cheese burger and fries and my wife had a regular cheeseburger and fries. It was obvious the burger patties were frozen and cooked prior to serving, but these were over cooked and dry. Staff was friendly enough, but we were told we would have to add our own condiments onto our burger after ordering, which makes me question quality right up front. Cheese was apparently American cheddar, which was tasteless on the dble I had....meat was extremely bland, way overcooked, zero seasoning, and making us add our own condiments (ketchup,mustard,mayo) to this patty made me regret ordering here even more. I will say the fries were good, even though they were nothing more than seasoned cuts from any frozen section of the local supermarket.So my thoughts for a dbl cheeseburger and fries with large sprite, my wife's regular cheeseburger, chocolate shake and fries...for 31.00.....no.I can get a fresher, tastier burger, at any Burger King with fries and shakes for 18.00. This place is way over rated and while it may be the only burger joint in Townsend...save your money, find a local Burger King....you won't regret it.
