January 9,2024 Young lady at cash register very rude. My total was 5.46 Gave her a ten and a one dollar bill she seemed confused told me I have her to much money I replied . I don,t want to take all your ones so you can take the 46 cents out of the one and give me a 5 dollar bill,that way I do not have a wallet full of ones. She replied well you JUST have a good day in a hateful tone. I use to work in a store I know sometime you run short of ones. She acted like I was trying to pull a fast one in her or something any ways her actions and tone was very disrespectful. She needs some customer service training.

Dollar general should pay their workers a living wage (more than $10 an hour). They should also hire more workers. If they did that they would get better reviews. They charge Walmart prices but make us watch people in our community struggle because it's the only job they can get to. Shame on corporate. Shame on Dollar General.

Worst employees ever tell me its not there job to ring me up both were there to stock shelves and do other things.When I entered store both were standing by the register had to navigate around them going to product and returning to register.At which time both women hurried away in different directions. Asked to be checked out and was ignored,I had 3 items. Second request was met with objection told not her job to ring me up??¿?what is your job ?How else does the company make money

It's hard to best Dollar General. Love the digital coupons and they have almost anything you need. The employees are great at this location. I would give it 5stars but the lighting is dim, although I have noticed this at a couple of the Dollar General stores. That's a corporate problem...I also think corporate should have 3 employees in every store, at all times too.

Had to call 5 times for the cashier to come so I could pay for items. This happen more then once. At Christmas time last year the same was apparently outside smoking with doors open, there was five of us in line waiting to check out hollering for her and even left line to find her so we could check out. Apparently smoking is more important then doing her job.

When we walked in the store there was no employee to greet us nor did they greet us when they saw us shopping. The workers looked at us mean and followed us around the store without even offering help. They were talking bad about us within earshot. They were so worried about us and what we were doing they neglected other customers that were waiting to be checked out. There was a broken candle in an isle that we had to tell them about to get it cleaned up even tho we were 2 isles over and heard it break and they were standing at the end of that isle watching us so they had heard it break as well.When we approached the register we could hear them saying that we were fraudulent employees or that there were fraudulent employees spreading inside information because we Found some penny items. When our turn came we informed her that we were not employees nor did we know any and she became extremely rude and hateful. She scanned every item we placed on the counter with her price checker on her phone before she rang up each item... Afterwards we asked for her name and she refused to give it. I informed her that I would be contacting the corporate office and all she said was go ahead and a very snooty bye bye. This incident occured May4th at 10:22am.

I realize it's a problem at all stores, but I hate being looked at like I'm stealing something. I have never seen anything in any store that was desired enough to go to jail over. I like dollar General and all but there certainly nothing there worth trying to steal and go to jail over.

The employees were great. Helped when asked and friendly. Store was clean. The problem I had was the wait at the register. Not enough employees to open any registers with too many customers for one person.

They are always so,so sweet, the Lady that waited on me Sunday,should get a raise, I was the only one in the store and she greeted me just super nice

Terrible shopping environment, crowed, products in floor. Shelves need to be faced, spend more time finding ways around aisles then actually finding what you need.

This location is kinda always cluttered and dingy. It is always very busy, so maybe that's the reason. Staff are polite.
