A truly artsy and eclectic decor that makes you feel like visiting local shops. They seem to focus on local and organic options - which I love. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel. It was delicious. I would go back 100% for that sandwich. I didn't like the Chai Latte I chose. It didn't have enough spice to the flavor. It seemed a bit overpowered by the milk.

Nice little spot for a quick grab. Coffee and a bite to eat. Ordered myself a Bacon Egg & Cheese on a toasted bagel ; pretty good! My wife had the toasted sliced bread with strawberries / honey & avocado. Surprisingly , this was also very good! Also had me an iced coffee, iced coffee wasn’t too good.Gave it 4 stars because of how sloppy they added butter onto my bagel. Guy literally left a chunk of butter , when he could have just spread it on the bread.Overall, I’d come back. 👍🏼

The most charming cafe! I tried a few things during my weekend trip and they were all amazing! The ingredients are so fresh I'm sure literally everything on the menu is delicious. The coffee was also very good! The staff was so pleasant and I could sit there all day and enjoy the atmosphere if I were a local. Also, bonus points for having a pride flag prominently displayed outside!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and they are delicious!Parking: Their lot is very tiny and always full.Kid-friendliness: I saw many kids at the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Big ramp!

It can be so hard to find vegan options while traveling, so I was so excited to have found this little coffee shop with so many things to choose from. I got their vegan breakfast sandwich, some vegan cookies ,and one of their specialty lattes and all were absolutely delicious!

This is such a cute place! The hours are amazing (open late) which is so rare for a coffee house. The iced matcha was great and my cafe au lait was great. The environment + hours are the selling point for me, so I would come back when in the area.

Stirlings is a must on your sewanee list… we’ve been coming for years and always love it! Their lunch is simple refreshing and delicious! Get the chicken salad bowl or Outreach turkey! Great food, coffee, and employees!

My fiancé and I are in the area from Michigan for a concert at the caverns. We needed a minimal fuss but not greasy breakfast spot and this place was exactly that. Menu had a solid selection of fresh and unique items. I went simple and got a breakfast sandwich w/ bacon on a croissant, it was delightful.. My man got the Dimmick Day, the Basil oil leveled it up from just a regular club and was sooo good. Coffee is good too!! Prices are honestly great compared to back home and vibes were on point. 10/10 recommend

The vegan breakfast club left a lot to be desired. A normal sized bagel with a small breakfast sausage. They could’ve at least added 2 and added some avocado to it or something. Then it would be worth the ridiculous price.I liked the atmosphere and the vegan cookie was good. Coffee was decent.

The chai latte was perfect. The customer service was kind and inviting. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. A true Oasis on this cold wet day. The staff made me and my service dog feel welcome. I highly recommend Stirling's Coffee House.

Very rude front counter staff. High price for little value. Also ordered a quad shot espresso drink and they didn’t add my shots, but then wouldn’t fix it. I do not recommend.

Stirling's has fabulous snacks, lunch and breakfast items, and great coffee options. The renovations make it even more wonderful. The porch is comfortable and inviting, and you can pull up a chair and visit with friends or a good book for a long time!

Lovely "Southern-style" front porch and front-lawn patio seating. I've never been sure whether the rickety tables inside are supposed to be part of this place's "charm" or if they're simply too lazy to fix them; either way, they make it impossible to get any work done or to enjoy their tasty Asian salad.

We had company come up from Florida this week. They tried this coffee shop twice and both experiences were not good. The orders were wrong both times and the staff both days were rude to them. Very embarrassing to hear that one of our local establishments was rude not once but twice to our family visiting this area. Maybe you need to hire friendlier people that know how to make coffee.

I hate this place so much. They are conveniently located next door to where I stay during my summers in Sewanee, so I go there from time to time out of pure desperation. It is always, always an awful experience. Every single time, there is a long line, and the cashier is chit chatting with someone at the front for what seems like a million years. They have no competition, so everything costs a million dollars. They always get something wrong about my order. There are always customers there who are extremely loud and pretentious and standing in the way of where other people need to go. Overall terrible.

Favorite coffee shop in Sewanee. Employees are always helpful and cheerful (and they all have remarkably good taste in music!) The curry chicken salad on a croissant, dipped or drizzed with their balsamic dressing is a must have and eternal classic (but it's excellent in every way shape and form.) Fun drinks ranging from the Crazy Sewanee Night with many shots of espresso, to the Sleepy Hollow with milk and Sleepytime tea. Delicious homemade treats like monster cookies and scones, I could wax poetic about this place all day!
