I watch YouTube videos about dog training but having Mike to answer questions about issues that pop up is so valuable. Highly recommend.

I truly don’t have any words to describe how much love timing and devotion goes into training these amazing animals that Loyal Companions provide for them. I am absolutely honored and blessed to be able to get one of these animals from them. Gabe is amazing. What is more amazing is watching Mike train and help me and others learn the training that goes into them . You can see his passion and his drive and his love for these animals and for the people they serve.

Loyal Companions LLC is wonderful! We purchased our son's diabetic alert service dog from them. He is very well trained! Loyal Companions is fantastic to work with!! My husband purchased his PTSD service dog from Loyal Companions. So, when I started looking at mobility aids, we looked at getting a mobility service dog through them. They help you through the whole process. We highly recommend Loyal Companions LLC either for service dogs or obedience training. They are very professional and friendly!

First, I want to say, this beautiful dog receives compliments every day on his looks and his manners. Ridge was trained very well by Loyal Companions. He performs most tasks flawlessly and some he needs reminders on. He is still young and like any kid trys stuff! He is very obedient. He does things for me like getting me when my phone rings or someone knocks and I don't hear them. My like is significantly better with him. If I go, he goes! Although mine, he is a wonderful family dog. He has adopted my children and grandchildren from 1 to 32 years old. He love them all. I just don't see how it could be better. The process of training is slow but it helped to be able to visit and spend time with him. I believe it helped him bond to my wife and I. I just cannot say enough good things about his training, his manner and my satisfaction.

My family was searching for a service dog for my daughter and after many, many places we finally made a connection with Mike and his wife Tanya! They were quick to respond to us and provide us with everything we needed to know. We began the process with them and couldn’t believe how much they really cared about our daughter and her needs. They made this process so easy for us. We met Luke in April and my daughter and Luke bonded immediately! The price for the dog and all his training was so much more affordable than anywhere else. As we went through the fundraising efforts they were supportive of all our efforts. They took care of every possible questions, concerns and keeping us very informed of how Luke was progressing in there care. We planned a second trip to see Luke and they spent several hours with us so my daughter could continue to bond with her dog. When Luke arrived home this past weekend Mike trained us on how to work with Luke and everything we needed to know to care for him. Finally Mike attended school with my daughter and Luke for two days to help her transition into her school. The school was very impressed, we were impressed and are so happy we found Loyal Companions! You couldn’t possibly ask for a better or more caring training team!!!!!!!!!!

I do not know where to start. Our son was diagnosed with Autism level 3. We have looked else where to find different opinions to see how we can help our son cope with things in life. He is very young he still has a long way to grow. Our doctor told us that a service dog can help our son son cope differently with things he deals with on a daily basis. We have called different places about a service dog. I was recommended by my sons pediatrician to contact Loyal Companion LLC to see if we have a chance to get a service dog for our son. One day i finally spoke to Tanya and she explained how the whole process works. Thankfully we were able to figure everything out for us. Paperwork was easy and we were able to meet with our sons service dog. My son quickly clicked with his new service dog Ryder. We finally have our service dog included into our family. Ryder has been very helpful with us and with our kids too. We love this new adventure we going through. We are very thankful For Mike and Tanya for helping us. They are very nice and understanding of everyones situation. They are reliable and if we ever have any issues I know we can count on them. We are thankful they crossed our paths. Almost a year ago, I got my service dog, Bryce, through Loyal Companions.When I first reached out to Mike and Tanya, I didn't expect them to even respond because that had been my experience with previous service dog trainers. But they responded the next day!From then on out, they answered all of mine and my family's endless questions and guided us through the process. After I was matched to one of their pups in training, they worked with us to come up with a manageable payment plan, kept well in touch with calls, updates, pictures and videos of both Bryce's training and him being the goofy pup he is, and prepared us with information and packages. Tanya even sent me a stuffed toy that resembled Bryce exactly.We live in a small town in Alaska, so when placement time came around, Mike and Bryce had to fly all the way here. But the Ratliffs didn't give us any trouble for it. We offered Mike to stay with us during placement, since we have a big house, and though this may not be relevant, we really enjoyed having him and were excited to have him again a while later.While he was here for a few days, Mike worked with Bryce and I to learn to be a good team and to bond and to teach me all the commands/tasks and how to handle Bryce. We went on outings to public places, went on walks, etc. It took some getting used to, for both Bryce and I, but Mike really brought us together and boosted both of our confidence in ourselves and each other when being out and about.A few weeks after the placement, I was having some minor issues with Bryce, and the Ratliffs didn't hesitate. Mike came back, without charging us any extra for the trip, and helped Bryce and I work through our little road bump.Bryce and I have been a great team since, and I cannot express how much having this service dog/furry best friend has improved my life and made simple everyday things more possible and enjoyable. Bryce is my service dog, yes, but he is also so much more to me.Bryce came in wonderful, might I say perfect, health. He was also well taken care of (loved, groomed, socialized, etc) and the Ratliffs gave us all the information, help, and advice to ensure he stays happy and healthy. I highly recommend Loyal Companions to anyone who is looking into getting a service dog. It is a wonderful, pretty much stress free experience, service animals/training are incredible, and to say that Mike and Tanya are incredibly wonderful people would be an understatement. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I've had dogs all my life. Recently we got a puppy that was so hyper and stubborn she wouldn't follow any commands. She's super smart but chooses not to do what she's told. At the first class she just barked the entire class. Sitting walking and training, she barked and jumped and acted like the leash way hurting her. She pulled so hard when walking my hand was bruised and cut by the leash. Now 1/2 way through the training, she's a whole different puppy. She'll even sit on comand without a treat in hand. We still have along way to go with this one, but wouldn't have the hope we have w/o Mike at Loyal Companions.

We started our training with Mike in one of the puppy classes when my Chocolate Lab was 4 months old. The puppy class was 6 weeks and well worth the money. Not only did I see progress with my dog in the 6 weeks but all the other dogs in class as well. Mike really took the time to get to know each of us and our pups. He would even stay after class when I had questions or to help teach me little things like clipping nails. I had another trainer and program set up for my dog to attend at 6 months of age but after working with Mike we decided to stay with him. Since puppy class we have had private lessons and are signed up for more classes with him. My lab is now almost 7 months and we get compliments all the time on how well behaved he is for his age. We couldn’t have done it without Mike. I look forward to continuing our training with Mike and really see what my Lab can do!

I contacted Mike to help me with my one year old Yorkshire Terrier. I was having difficulty with her pulling on walks and some general behaviors that needed to be corrected. Mike was at my house in less than 48 hours. He did a quick consultation and was able to start retraining Ruthie and myself immediately.I could tell a huge difference by the time he left my home. He gave us tools and instructions to use down the road. I can’t recommend him enough.

Mike helped me work with my 2 German Shepherds who weren’t getting along. He taught me that my younger dog didn’t see me as a leader and was exhibiting a lot of fear-based behaviors. My dogs have come so far! They’ve learned how I want them to behave in public and get along better now. Best of all, my dogs were so happy to see Mike each week, and he seemed to really like them, too!

Mike has been working with my dog who is a Rottweiler , bullheaded and strong-willed. He would not walk on a leash or load up in my car . He is about 180 lbs. The was no moving him. Since Mike has been working with him and myself. I have learned alot about my rottie, and now he walks on a leash like pro. And loads in my car and rides. I am so appreciative to Mike for his work with him. I'm so greatful for his help. Thank you Mike

I cant say enough about Mike and Tanya! We completed STAR Puppy and then AKC CGC. The classes were fun and a wonderful learning experience for both of us. Mike provided personalized advice and tips to help Ruthie succeed in each class. We can't wait to see what comes next!

Mike does a great job teaching the owners what their dogs can do with repetitive, persistent training of simple commands. My puppy learned a lot in our 6 week course and so did I!
